The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Thx guys.

Change some settings in ur web.xml.

Put hosts listed in lastBlockchainFeed about into "wellKnownPeers". Set other parameters to:

connectTimeout = 2000
readTimeout = 2000
pushThreshold = 1
pullThreshold = 1

ok, trying, terminal is freezing... where is lastBlockchainFeed? not in web.xml...

Put values of lastBlockchainFeeder reported above into wellKnownPeers.

im stilll stuck on this... where do we get lastBlockchainFeed value from?  And do we ADD the data into wellknownpeers or do we replace what is currently in wellknownpeers with this data?

And how can we tell which blockchain is longest, and which one our client is on?

why doesn't anyone mind, then, that DGEX.com is limiting your earning potential by not allowing you to place orders more than 30% lower off the 'current_price' ?

or are you all just blindly buying at whatever price it comes?

you think its cheap? 5 days ago or so it was 0.00000330 and now all of a sudden its 0.0000679

Can you please explain to me, what was released by the NXT development team to justify this price jump?
No services, no automated exchange, no nothing.
now 'the main exchange' site not letting you even to place an order to get coin cheaper when they drop.
Scammy scammy scammy.

Anyone else thinks its a bit off?

If the growth and limits are logically justified then I dont mind, but all this seems ridiculous.
the thing isnt even released yet.

DGEX is completely automated regarding trading (exchange) and mostly on de/funding transactions

This works both ways, quickly changes because of 1-hour moving average, it is temporary because we allow fulfilling at any price and it was desired by the market.

Pin, I asked valid questions and raised a valid concern about the behavior of the exchange.
How is your answer related to anything at all?

Yes I am one of the Founders and Beta testers of Emunie.
I have loads of projects running with other coins also.

Just because I asked questions, that are too difficult for you to comprehend, does not necessarily mean they are accusations or so called 'flaming'

so if you don't have anything constructive to say - stfu.

I'm sitting on this screen for hours, and apparently nothing good for my Balance happens

"Balance 0.00"

And yes, as Islander92 has already said - a little more detailed description would go a long way.
So far all I know about generating NXT is Coins are earned solely by charging transaction fees.
Well I'm sorry but that doesn't say much. Which transactions, what about starting block etc.

Quick search of my account gives "Noting found. Please check your number and try again." Nothing, nada.
But on the same Blockchain Explorer, I notice huge concentration of NXT in just several accounts.

I feel like a milking cow ignoramus sitting on 0.00 balance with no idea what's going on

There was a lot of manipulation, some people bought a little NXT in much different prices than usual and were probably waiting for someone to fall to their traps.

Some rich people arrived and they were buying millions of Nxt, so the price got higher thanks to them.

Two questions here.

What is expected to forge just with 1 NXT, please?

How many is needed to be able to see some progress, that this forge thing is working, please?

Thanks you in advance.

Not that it would do you any good in terms of generating a block, but you need at least 1 NXT in your account in order to start forging.

Thanks you, atleast i'm not the only one hehe.

Little bit more "easy" info here : http://www.coinarea.net/ (on the left there's two videos explaining the basics, but still a bit unclear)

Nxt is pure Proof of Stake.  You need to be a stakeholder = owner of Nxt.
