Ok, after reinstalling BitPay, it is working correctly and showing up in the wallet.... It was just strange that it showed up everywhere but in that wallet or on BitPay's block explorer....
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction not found by TX #, but it is by Wallet.... Someone please help.... on: November 14, 2018, 11:56:03 PM
Correction... it is now showing up as confirmed on the block explorer websites. I am reinstalling the BitPay wallet client now....
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction not found by TX #, but it is by Wallet.... Someone please help.... on: November 14, 2018, 11:53:18 PM
Yes, it is showing up fone on my end now too.... except that in Bitpay's new desktop wallet, it shows that there is no transaction. I sent  another small amount to the same wallet and it appeare instantly, and now has already confirmed. yet, the wallet does not show anything on the firsttransaction

Did you send your second (small) transaction to the same address ?

If so, it seems like bitpay's wallet does have some connection/display issues.

If not, can you verify that the address you have sent your first transaction to does indeed belong to your wallet ?
You can see all addresses of your wallet under Settings -> Advanced > Wallet information

Yes, I sent the second transaction to the same wallet address. I did verify that the address belinged to that wallet by looking exactly where you said in Btpay, in the wallet settings. It matched. The second, smaller amount of 0.0003BTC has confirmed and been added, while the first transaction still shows as unconfirmed on the block explorer websites, and not showing up at all in Bitpay.

Well, i tried all three of those block explorers and it shows up on 2 of them, but not on Blockchair.. It was also broadcast 2 hours ago now with a 12sat/byte fee....

So, it does not show up on blockchain.info or Insight, but it does on BlockCypher and Blockchain.com

cannot figure out why this would occur though....
It might be a browser issue that is why the TXID you made doesn't show on blockchain.info.

You may try to clear your browser cache and history and then change your DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for alternative DNS you can use this 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 after that check your TXID if it shows fine or not.

If everything doesn't work try to use a VPN because I think this is just an internet issue not on their side because your TXID shows fine on my browser (firefox).

Here is some further info....

I created the transaction myself, sending the Bitcoin to myself. Basically, i am moving money between Desktop wallets, Jaxx and Bitpay.. Sent from Jaxx, to Bitpay.

This is the transaction ID provided from the Jaxx App: 546470ec9ce19e834697452a9f90415dd5d44c342f8fd29a95f3a495a00faea6

The Wallet address on Bitpay that is to receive the funds is: 1LE9Gq9F9s5SV1CgRJ3gcDTgbbrNpZ6s29

Bitpay normally shows incoming transactions as soon as they are broadcast, but it does not show this one. Then, as I said, searching blockchain.info, insight, etc.... by the TX ID comes up with nothing. However, search the block explorers with the wallet address, and the transaction appears....

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Transaction not found by TX #, but it is by Wallet.... Someone please help.... on: November 14, 2018, 07:10:14 PM
If I search for the transaction, I get a Transaction not found page on any block explorer, but if I paste in my wallet address, it comes up with the transaction number that matches what I tried previously.

This is kind of confusing..

Why would the block explorer be able to find the transaction by the wallet address, but not the transaction ID?

Hi,

I am very excited about your project! I am a gamer and have experienced some of the limitations that you mention first hand. I am also a writer and would love to write for this. I have already sent you an email with my interest, experience, etc...

I need a book for a coolege course I am taking,

https://www.amazon.com/Unity-Proficiency-Intermediate-step-step/dp/1533297274

f you can find it, then here are 4 more books to meet your 5 book minimum requirement...

https://www.amazon.com/Unity-Proficiency-Beginner-step-step/dp/1980277478
https://www.amazon.com/Unity-Zero-Proficiency-Advanced-Performances/dp/1539527999

https://www.amazon.com/Unity-Development-Hours-Teach-Yourself/dp/0672337517

If you cannot find any of those, any ebook in the same theme... designing games in unity, will be okay.

(Not the intermediate one from Patrick Felicia, have it already)
12  Economy / Services / Re: I want to list a pow coin on exchanges, any advices? on: October 11, 2018, 07:46:33 PM
One of the first things that has to be done in every single instance, for any exchange is to have the coin listed on at least one data site, such as CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's the other way around: first you get listed on a couple of exchanges and once you have a decent volume then you can apply for a listing on CoinmarketCap.

No, you are correct. I say that, assuming the coin in question is already being traded. For Coinmarketcap, specifically, the coin must meet the following prerequisites:

- Must be on a public exchange with an API that reports the last traded price and the last 24 hour trading volume.
- Must have a non-zero trading volume on at least one supported exchange so a price can be determined.

If the coin is brand new, then there is no market for it yet. Yet, it will still need to be listed "Somewhere" and there are other options available.
13  Economy / Services / Re: I want to list a pow coin on exchanges, any advices? on: October 11, 2018, 06:53:13 PM
@gondel, if you can share some info on your coin, such as the algorithm, if it's mineable, been or will be pre-mined, total supply and coin/version number it was forked from, it would allow me to give you an idea of the if, when, where and how long for getting your coin listed. Of course, if you just send me a link to your coins site or github or whitepaper, even, I can get that info fro there...
14  Economy / Services / Re: I want to list a pow coin on exchanges, any advices? on: October 11, 2018, 06:46:52 PM
I'm not really familiar with listing new coins on exchanges, but I can give you an example I know of:

You can list your coin on https://crypto-bridge.org/ if you pay the following price(s):

Quote
General info:

There is a 1 BTC standard listing fee and a 3 BTC fast-track option.

Fast-track We aim to get you live within 24hrs from confirmed payment, we will contact you within 12 hrs of request.
Standard Generally 7-12 days from request to listing, but can vary depending on demand at the time. We will aim to contact you within 7 days of request being lodged.

Source: https://cryptobridge.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/35000061219-how-can-i-request-a-coin-listing-

Please note that I'm not affiliated with cryptobridge in any way, I just happened to stumble upon their coin listing post before.

Even with Crypto-Bridge there is still an application process that must be adhered to. Paying their fee does not guarantee acceptance. They have refused listings before and refunded the money.

It all comes down to presentation, the coin itself, the code, and being able to follow guidelines. The exchanges are going to look at your Github, organizational structure, and other details like this and grade it at a higher weight than the coins volume and value.

One of the first things that has to be done in every single instance, for any exchange is to have the coin listed on at least one data site, such as CoinMarketCap or CoinGecko...

Again, this is even more of a reason to use a service that knows the ins and outs. The stuff that most people would not even think of is the stuff that gets applications ignored or rejected and causes a lot of wasted time. For example, something everyone would obviously know, but hardly anyone would think about....

How do you get a unique ticker symbol for your coin? You can't say that your ticker symbol is BTC, or ETH, or even XMR. Those are already taken. So, you need a ticker symbol, but how do you create it, claim it as your own and ensure its not a duplicate of a coin that already exists?

That is one of many things that will come up and need to be done. Sure, it is no huge secret how to get the ticker symbol, but how long will it take you to get the info on how to do it? then how long will it take you to find out the proper procedures, and actually get it done? By the time you think of an answer to that question alone, I will have the ticker symbol taken care of.

Using a service is just the best way to handle getting listed... And I am not saying that ONLY because I offer the service, I speak from experience....
15  Economy / Services / Re: I want to list a pow coin on exchanges, any advices? on: October 11, 2018, 06:23:41 PM
Getting a Coin listed on an exchange is not necessarily difficult to do. It is, however, a very detailed process. Every exchange has different guidelines and criteria for new coins. Once you are within their guidelines and meet their criteria, then you have to submit your application, following their rules for submissions. Again, every exchange has different rules for submitting the application, as well.

Some exchanges charge a fee just to apply, others only if your coin is accepted and will be listed and some exchanges charge a fee every step of the way. Binance makes you offer an amount you are willing to pay for listing fees.

Using Binance, again, as an example, they do not even reply to your application right away. if they decide to list your coin in 2 days, they will, of course contact you to set up the tech details and wallet stuff, but you may not hear from them and then one day, 6 months from now, out of the blue, they contact you because they decided to list your coin. While most other exchanges do not take this exact approach, they all have one thing in common: DO NOT REQUEST UPDATES ON YOUR APPLICATION STATUS.

This pretty much leaves you in the dark until an exchange is ready to list you.

So, there really is no service that can say, We will get your coin listed for $XX.XX. It cannot exist because the only ones who can get your coin listed are the exchanges themselves.

However, you can pay a service to put your applications in with the various exchanges. someone who offers this service knows the application processes, guidelines and other details that can make the process a lot faster, smoother and less of a headache. Especially since most exchanges simply delete any application that does not follow the guidelines, rules or process specifically.

A service like this can tell you exactly which exchanges you have the best chance of getting listed on, and will know all the information needed beforehand and can provide time-frames for applying, guidelines and prerequisites that are needed for each exchange, etc....

So, the best way to get your coin listed is to start there. Hire a service to submit your coin to the exchanges for you. From there, play the waiting game and possibly, the "Ok, Now jump through some hoops for us" game and your coin will get listed. Unfortunately, there is no way to just say, "Here is my coin", on a Monday and see it listed and trading on Tuesday.

Oh, and BTW, I do provide the services that I mentioned here. I can submit your coin up to 40 exchanges. If interested, send me a PM and we can discuss it more.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: ♠️ Get ETHER for STAKES [IMMEDIATELY] Facebook, Twitter, Moderation, Signat. ♠️ on: October 04, 2018, 06:22:33 PM
So, I checked out Tokpie and have to say that it is an awesome idea. I grab bounties anytime I can, to make some extra money and the one thing I have always hated was having to wait for months to realize the money that i made. With Tokpie, i can basically do bounties and then sell my stakes that I earned long before they would normally materialize into a fungible asset.

The only question I have about it is this: Is it possible to create new markets with stakes that I own? or is there a formal process to request that a market be created?

In my opinion, the most obvious benefit of Tokpie's service is that this will give me more motivation to do more bounties and should give ICO's and other offering stakes as rewards a helping hand in getting people to do their bounties. Without having to wait to spend the money from doing bounties, I am sure that a lot more people will be willing to take the time and do the tasks required, which will then create a larger community for the people offering the bounties.

Overall I think it is a great idea and while I have not fully explored all of the possibilities, I think that bounty stakes trading can be made even better if there were a way for ICO's or other companies offering bounty stakes to integrate directly with Tokpie, making it even easier for users to take advantage of the entire process.

toodamntired, impressive post   Smiley
I will only comment on what I do not fully agree with.

Just because a company is registered in one jurisdiction and works from another, wile claiming to be from yet another location does not automatically make them scammers.
I do not blame them for being registered somewhere. I blame them for giving out their registration for their real location. And people think that they are from the Czech Republic, but this is a lie.
Everyone knows that Yandex is a Russian company, which is located in Russia. And almost no one knows that it is registered in Netherlands. Yandex never pretended they were in Netherlands because they didn’t need to pretend. They are an honest and respected company in the world.

If I was a Russian citizen, who owned a business that targeted customers on a global scale, I sure the hell would not say I was in Russia.
I am sure that the only reason for which they conceal that they from Russia is not an image/reputaion, but a fear of the Russian authorities and laws. Since there are no laws on cryptocurrency in Russia their activity is shady there. And they have every chance that once masked people come to them (as in the photo in the first post).

By sending in those images, you did violate their terms of service and really there is no one to blame for that, except for yourself.
I spat on the rules written by some anonymous guys.
If they do not like that I spit on their rules, then let them just ban me in their service. Who are they to hold my property and refuse to refund?
I did not violate the laws of the state. I demanded to return my money in the first day (3 months ago)
If they had information that my money was stolen, they should have reported it to the Russian police. What the hell do they keep this money with? Who are they??

I repeat to you again. If I broke the rules of the fucking site, then this fucking site can stop working with me. Even in their wicked agreement there was no line that if I refuse to send them my documents, they will not return my money to me.

Therefore, they have the right to refuse me in exchange. I don't need their fucking exchange. But they have no right to hold my property, because they are nobody, they are not the police, they are not a bank, and not a stock exchange, they are Russian guys who bought the company in an offshore garbage dump for $ 650.

Furthermore, I think that while Changelly is not directly responsible, the representative from Changelly who has posted here is incorrect in one aspect for sure. A comment by the person posting as Changelly said that they were not responsible for what a third-party does using their API.
They are the same people living in the same city and having several shit companies
Russian Changelly, Atomic Wallet, ChangeNOW, Guarda, Ink.one, Evercode Lab (for unregistered users)
You for example have seen messages from Atomic Wallet here. This is a new company of the owner and former CEO of Changelly - Gla***hev. The co-founder of Atomic Wallet is Br**ov. Br**ov is co-founder of St Petersburg' Evercode Lab  (developer of ChangeNOW). It's just St. Petersburg family

Changelly, do something about it. because if you serve 2-million customers, $70k worth of BCH is not worth the headache. Time spent posting on it here, replying to posts elsewhere, customers lost as a result of their opinion being in line with OPs, etc...
It is very difficult for them. Because it is a system. If a person does not send documents, then the money remains with them.
And they find it difficult to go against it. They are afraid of precedent and its consequences for their rich life.
Read the Internet and see how many such cases. Someone even created a website.
http://changellyreview.com/
And everywhere the same words: fear of stolen money, Europol etc.
You understand that all this money remains with them? Do you understand the volume of this money? I think that for example 10% of users never send their documents. They are afraid of losing such a business. So it is very dangerous to make a precedent and return money to me.

they should be b boycotted and ousted as performing bas business, but not of scamming since there is no actual proof of that.
People use fake names and pretend that they are from the Czech Republic and you do not call it a scam? What names did they use here?
They are not rap singers to use pseudonyms. They manage MONEY business service. Ask yourself for what purpose do they use fake names?

If changelly gave u whitelisted account and change now is the same gang, than I don't see the reason why they should hold your coins untill you goes through kyc with them.
As you can see, they do not deny it. If they deny, then I will give theymos or another authoritative user a login/password from my email and he will confirm our correspondence and transactions.
I sent PM to you (not with login/pass  Grin)

Hey, don't misunderstand me. They have no right to hold your money, for any reason. I am not saying that what they are doing is not a scam, I am simply saying that there is no proof of it. Do I think that they are scamming people, selectively or not? sure. I think they absolutely are, but without proof, I am just saying that I wouldn't use the term.

You bring up a very good point about precedence. I never considered that aspect of it before and I have to agree with you there. If they give you your money back, then all of the other people who didn't send documents and lost their funds will have a legal basis for reclaiming their money.

I understand that they are not rap artists and have no reason to use fake names. However, it is not illegal to do this, it is jt's very shady business practices.

Either way, this is a totally bad situation. It is situations like these that cause the problems that the cryptocurrency world had to fight through every single day. I am looking into some things on my end, as I am a writer for a couple of larger cryptocurrency websites and if the is something here, then it needs to be made public so that people can either be forewarned, r at least have the information to be fully informed.

So please, my friend, do not take anything in my original post as being me disagreeing with you. I am simply adding my two cents, is all. I think that it is a situation that needs to be monitored and action needs to be taken in some way. Not only for you and your money that they have, but for the entire crypto-community, as a whole.
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CHANGELLY - Illegal exchanger from RUSSIA with FAKE team on: October 03, 2018, 06:23:34 AM
I am going to throw my two cents in here for a minute... I am too lazy to grab all the quotes that I should, so if it doesn't make sense, just read the whole thread.

First, forget about the fact that Changelly has 2-million customers served... McDonald's has over 3-Billion people served and they screw people over daily. Just because a business is big does not mean that they are saints. In case you need some further examples of this, just think of Exxon, Enron, Wells Fargo.... see? big names, bad practices...

moving on....

On the other hand... Just because a company is registered in one jurisdiction and works from another, wile claiming to be from yet another location does not automatically make them scammers. Many examples in this category, as well..  I mean, who can blame them? If I was a Russian citizen, who owned a business that targeted customers on a global scale, I sure the hell would not say I was in Russia. Who would do business with me? I am not being mean, i happen to love Russia, have been there several times, but let's ace it, Russia has not been getting the best reputation for trust in the news lately.

While I admit that sending pictures of Trump and Putin has got to be the funniest thing I have ever heard in my life, you maybe should not have done it with $70,000 USD worth of Bitcoin Cash being the sole reason the documents were requested.

I understand your frustration and anger, but you are the one who gave them the right to take your money. By sending in those images, you did violate their terms of service and really there is no one to blame for that, except for yourself. The fact that they did that, and have continued to hold it is simply bad business practices on their part. Maybe even bordering on criminal, i am not sure. Either way, i do not agree with it at all.

Furthermore, I think that while Changelly is not directly responsible, the representative from Changelly who has posted here is incorrect in one aspect for sure. A comment by the person posting as Changelly said that they were not responsible for what a third-party does using their API. Clearly, they are no responsible, because a Responsible company would investigate this and revoke ChangeNow's API access in the interim. By not doing this, it shows a lack of concern for consumers,as well as support for anyone who wishes to scam others.

In fact, Changelly should just start a new marketing campaign.... The banners can read something like this:

"Looking to scam people for a lot of Bitcoin? Changelly has all the tools you need to ensure you maximize your scamming potential. Sign up now and start robbing people today!"

While that may seem funny, it is basically what  has been done. Changelly said, well, not our problem and we are going to ignore it and let change now do whatever they want with the tools we provide. As long as they pay their bill every month, what do we care?"

I am in NO WAY saying that this is the view of Changelly. ll I am saying is that could VERY easily appear to be the Changelly attitude from someone who just happens upon this post at some un-Godly hour of the night...

I think that the OP got pissed and had the right to be pissed because of what happened. I then think he pissed them off with his joke nd they said, "Ha Motherfucker, we got the last laugh now!"

Give the man his money back... Changelly, do something about it. because if you serve 2-million customers, $70k worth of BCH is not worth the headache. Time spent posting on it here, replying to posts elsewhere, customers lost as a result of their opinion being in line with OPs, etc...

OP, I am on your side here.. they need to refund you right away. until then, and maybe even after, they should be b boycotted and ousted as performing bas business, but not of scamming since there is no actual proof of that.

I am foing to send you a PM ni23457
