I've finished my French translation ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ! You can find it here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1376671. I'll PM you my address when I'll have one ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) . Sadly, since this isn't allowed to have two topics on the same crypto-currency in the Spanish sub-forum, I won't be able to translate the new OP in Spanish ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) . Wow! You are great! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) PM me when you get an address.

Does this mean that if your CPU only had two threads it wouldn't work? That might explain the problems one person was having.
No, it would mine pretty well.
|
|
|
Has the halving happened yet?
No I have an i7 CPU that currently only allocates about 50% to this mining, with affinity set to all 8 threads (4 cores). I read that others had 90% load - is it because I have a superior CPU, or am I not utlilizing it properly?
Oops Open "game/game.cpp" and replace const int numThread = 4; with const int numThread = 8; Then recompile it with VisualStudio 2013

I guess that will change when the blocks halve, is there a countdown location were I can see that?
You can see current block number on the "game" tab. Reward halves every 1000000 blocks. I had most of last nights mining rejected for some reason. There was a long list of coins mined but rejected with a -1 of 6 (i think) error.
1) Try to sync your system time. If it doesn't help then: 2) Are you behind NAT? Try to setup port forwarding then.

Yes, it's the latest wallet. It probably should have been renamed ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

By the way, when you send moto from your mining wallet do not send too much. Sending more than 10000 moto is definitely not recommended.
Sending something like 100000 moto (let's imagine that you mined for a couple of months) will produce a transaction with 5000 inputs and will be a stress for a blockchain.
It will not break anything of course, but some nodes may have problems with swallowing it (especially nodes with slow cpu).

needed to install additional libraryes? msvc or ..? on my virtual machine bot dont wont work..
If I recall correctly it does not require msvc dlls but you can try it anyway...

bot working only with amd?
The bot uses CPU only and is compiled for x86 processors. with or without bot I still can't see the game... latest runtimes installed
So when you launch original motogame.exe (which was there before you replaced it with the bot) you see nothing? Don't know what's wrong then...
|
|
|
I can't see the game but coins coming every minute.
Graphics is disabled in the bot.

Ok so I'll do it as soon as I get time. It should today or tomorrow.
That would be great! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

So 1000 MOTO per translation, or for the two ?
Per translation. Also, do I need to reserve some posts after it ?
It's not necessary I think.

If we want the rescanning process to not happen, then we will need to create a zip folder of not only the blocks folder, but also the chainstate and database folders. I will do this now then upload these folders so that the process is quicker.
Make sure you are offline during that rescan so your chainstate folder will match that blocks folder. Also, as I've already told you, database folder is private and should not be uploaded. Here is the complete blockchain! Downloaded in 3 days! ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) Maybe you could upload your chainstate folder if you didn't sync since then? P.S. Some observations: We have at least 10 new miners and hash rate is pretty much distributed now.

it only works with OpenGL? The CPU does not work?
It does not use GPU. I think it is the most profitable CPU-only mining at this moment. bot download produces corrupt file , unusable ,
What do you mean by "corrupt file"? It is zip archive.

Since HMC has gone somewhere again, I spent some time and did all necessary work by myself. So, here it is: http://wikisend.com/download/658870/motocoin_bot.zipThere is the source code inside and two compiled binaries for win and linux. It is actually the fastest version (nothing was intentionally slowed down). In this critical moment everyone who wants to help moto to succeed should start to mine as soon as possible to minimize the risk of attacks. So, let's hope now that the process of hash rate distribution will run smoothly and moto will finally become strong enough to be accepted by some good exchanges.

Is it possible to adapt this approach to Motocoin?
I'm sure we would see bots based on neural networks if the price was 100 times higher. HMC, come out! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

The strategy it uses is surprisingly simple.
Just as I've told you. Let's target Christmas weekend to release it?
That would be great.
|
|
|
Just some news.
I gave bot source to HMC 1.5 weeks ago. Don't know if he tried it or not.
Maybe he will announce something soon...

I'm planning to release the source code of my bot (the best version I currently have, although very simple).
After the release I will definitely not be able to get >50% anymore and guarantee the security of moto, so it will be up to community.
To ensure minimal safety of this process I want at least 5 people to write here that they are ready to mine moto 24/7 at least for the first two weeks.
HMC, can you insert my solver into your bot and compile it for Windows and Linux? I can give you a function that just tries to solve a level with specific nonce.
Then, I think you could make password-protected archive with all that stuff, upload it and reveal the password at some specific date and time.
