1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: October 16, 2015, 01:09:54 PM
So after reading this article and especially the ending:

Quote
One thing is for certain: having made Bitcoin less of a security worry, transparency will now be key in attracting users to new models, placing control of funds and fees in an upfront way in their own hands.

I'm wondering what's stopping people from using bitcoin?

And now I'm talking about people who already aware of bitcoin and how it works but still not using it.

The price is now pretty much stable for more then a year, security issues are out of the question - so why we can't see in 2015 more companies switching to it, especially considering the unstable condition of moden economy?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Decentralized media on: September 25, 2015, 09:24:50 AM
I read this. And I just don't get it.

I understand that they are trying to be ahead of the time, and the idea seems great. BUT can you see people turning away from traditional media to this?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Node incentivization for bitcoin? on: September 22, 2015, 11:07:52 AM
Is it possible?

I read this article about DASH which also claimed that the number of full nodes on the Bitcoin almost halved in a year. This data is really alarming.

So my question is is node incentivization for bitcoin possible and are there any incentives programs going?

with the toal sum collected so far brought to 8.3 million coins.

$1500 in a week - not bad. I hope you won't run off with the money.

To me that kinda sounds like pump&dump

Elaborate pump and dump is exactly what it is. But right now it doesn't seem that it's even working - all I see now is blabber and no actual pump or at least some action.

I have a plan of making XDN the next Bitcoin.

lol. And how are you planning to do that? Another foundation - okay, then what? Why do you think you'll be able to achieve anything. Look at the market right now - now even bitcoin is having hard times. And it's a well established brand already, and you want to introduce a completely new coin no-one ever heard of to the public. I doubt that it can be done, not after bitcoin price crash - people are simply afraid.

4.   Incentivizing widespread adoption of XDN by service vendors like casinos, traders, retailers, etc.

How are you planning to do that? Bitcoin is around since 2009 and they still have problems with this. Why you think they would be interested in XDN?
I think you better look into deep web, and dark markets - these guys will be much more interested in XDN adoption.

Hah, another foundation - I hope you'll be more productive then the others.

I have some questions:
Where do you get your funding? And where do you plan get money for the foundation in the future? I mean you can't always rely on inner resources and donations.
