My prediction is based on the current acceleration path. Of course the trendlines can change, but let's just suppose that this robust bullish trend continues:

Ik kan er uiteraard naast zitten, maar ik heb er een erg goed gevoel over.

Bitcoin staat in de startblokken voor een goede rally. Ik verwacht juist binnen een maand behoorlijk wat actie.

Voor het einde van het jaar 1000+ is prima mogelijk.

Als je een back-up hebt dan heb je de private key. Bij Blockchain.info heb je een functie 'import private key' waarbij je de private key sleept naar een scherm in de wallet, waarna het daar vervolgens je saldo genereert. Al dan niet nadat je een mogelijk wachtwoord hebt ingevuld, als het was vetsleuteld.

Ik heb het idee dat de Bitcoinkoers op dit moment kunstmatig laag gehouden wordt. Dit heeft te maken met de halving en de mogelijkheid om nu nog 'goedkoop in te kunnen kopen'.

Wat ik verwacht is een rustige uptrend tot aan de halving. Rond de halving verwacht ik een koers van rond de 550 USD. Kort hierna zie ik een kleine crash plaats vinden. Dit heeft twee oorzaken:

1: Grotere spelers willen de zwakke handen er uit schudden voordat een nieuwe bullrun gestart wordt
2: Er is geen direct opwaarts prijseffect waardoor veel korte termijn speculanten verkopen.

Deze shake out is volgens mij nodig om daarna een nieuwe lange Bull run in te zetten. Ik verwacht dan een terugval van 100 tot 150 dollar.

Daarna ga je het effect van de halvering zien. De prijs zal eerst rustig omhoog gaan, maar gaandeweg versnellen. Dit heeft de volgende oorzaken:

- Block halving
- Grote spelers die nu ingekocht hebben staan het dan toe dat de prijs verder omhoog gaat. Sterker nog, de prijs MOET omhoog om het voor de grote Chinese miners profitabel te houden.
- Het uitrollen van Segregated Witness en Lightning networks en dus het oplossing van de blocksize issues
- Positief nieuws in de media
- Grote bedrijven die iets met de blockchain/bitcoin gaan doen
- Misschien wel de belangrijkste: Fear of losing. Als de prijs eenmaal omhoog schiet springen er weer heel veel mensen aan boord, bang om de boot te missen. Dit stuwt de prijs nog verder totdat je weer een nieuwe bubbel hebt.

Deze factoren gecombineerd kunnen een zeer sterke uptrend induceren. Ik verwacht dat de nieuwe bubbel knapt tussen de 3 en 4K USD, maar het zou ook prima 1,5K of 10K kunnen zijn. Dit is niet of nauwelijks te voorspellen.

One more thing, before the attention economy and airdrop go live I would recommend to update your website as well and mainly the 1.5 minute introduction video. This video is very focused on Bitcoin, whilst your biggest market are non-bitcoin users. I would create a whole new video, focusing more on the stickers, the gifs, the airdrops, the attention economy, the possibility to buy stuff and the possibility to send money to everyone in your contact list. Don't give any information about Bitcoin or whatsoever.

Sorry to say, but the title of this thread is very deceitful. It is great that you are a follower of Martin Armstrong, so am I, but that does not necessarily mean that all his predictions come true. As you know, he often changes his predictions down the road (an example is his recent turnaround on diamonds).

In addition, I see no reason why Bitcoin should follow the exact pattern of global markets such as the euro, commodities like oil or gold, or anything else. As Luthier has shown, Bitcoin has not followed the same price patterns at all as other commodities during the last 6 months. Another important point is that the Bitcoin market cap is completely meaningless if you compare it to the market cap of for example gold or oil. The people behind it, the people owning large chunks of Bitcoin are also a completely different group than institutional investors with different ambitions and long term goals.

I am not saying here you are wrong. You could be right. However, the way you present your information is very misleading for newbies. There is absolutely no guarantee that your predictions will unfold. Looking at the current market sentiment and the last six months you actually have the odds against you.

Last but not least, put your money where you mouth is and show us a printscreen of your shorts. Otherwise it will only look as incitement to other people.

One more question. I was one of the first downloads. I registered under a certain name, saved my secret passphrase, etc. I decided to uninstall the app 2 months ago because of extreme data usage (my former username here was clochard). I reinstalled the app recently and tried to open my account with my secret passphrase. It did so, however I don't have the same username as I used to have and I cannot change it to the old name, because it is saying that is is already in use. Moreover, the Bitcoin balance is now 0, while I used to have more or less 5 euro in Bitcoin in the app. Lastly, the current secret passphrase is different than I used to have.

I find this weird, as it seems that a new account is created. However, I still have my Gems balance up to date in the app with all the referals of which most of them were already done during the first months of this year.

Las but not least, I tried to check my balance of Gems which I bought in the presale in the counterwallet. Website is not loading though. Any ideas why this is?

My findings concur with the OP. However I would like to add the following analysis:


It looks like that after breaking the level of the 2nd bull trap after the bubble, a new bubble was provoked last time. If it would play out similarly this time, this would mean first breaking through the 600USD level, probably hovering around a bit on that level before shooting to a new ATH.

My prediction to break 600USD is more or less at the end of this year. Then, with the priced in halving and some other major events, Bitcoin will shoot up.
