1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Disappearing coins on poloniex on: May 14, 2017, 02:00:30 PM
If this is legit, I am sorry for your loss, please contact support @ Polo.  BUT....newbie account?  Loss claims?  I've traded on Polo since it started and have NEVER had a problem.

Yes, this really did happen. Ive traded on poloniex for years as well and never had a problem. Yesterday after buying Ripple I set my STOP-LIMIT and all my coins vanished. No trace of the transaction. Poloniex disabled STOP-LIMIT feature shortly after. Ive had a ticket in for 19hours now. Still no coins or reply. You'd think poloniex could at least make a statement about the issue on twitter.

Anyone here? Looks like 8BIT is losing its audience, one by one... Or better to tell - in batches. We had two generations of 8bit-ers and looks like the second generation is gone too..?
Its a pity, the coin used to be great, the community was excellent, and the branding was attractive... Anyone has any plans..?

halloo...

Im still here

What is our next plan? Any ideas for an anchor for this coin? We need something that is original. What we need is game tournaments every week. We can all donate to the prize. Not sure How we can set this up but we need to try something. I can help with donations.

Game tournaments are a solid idea, I'm ready to donate. I think a strong anchor would be a really simple computer game. The "Bitcoin Billionaire Game" was hugely popular. I think I read something like it became the most popular bitcoin related search term when it was released, over say just bitcoin, bitcoin price or whatever.

I was thinking something like Coin Invaders. Take the space invader character from the front of our coin, and have it blast the crap out of the hundreds of coins out there. How much fun would that be? I want to play that shit right now! The character could use those lovely pinchers to collect any 8 bit coins that fly its way, no shooting the 8 bit, she special, she rare!) Dead simple for any game developer to make. Anyone know a game developer who would do this for 8-bit? My coins are waiting for them.

Like skidog, I am willing to donate coins to make any of our ideas happen.
From what I've read plenty of people out there are, but we don't seem to have a smooth system for doing so, do we?. How about a wallet address with some kind of virtual counter? If people see them rolling in, I'm sure they would be even more willing to donate.

I was also thinking there is a whole pixel art community out there who love to design objects animations, anything in pixel form. We could easily get them on board with social media. Plenty of them on twitter! A lot of them do it for free, simply because they love it. Paying them in 8 bit to design stuff for us would be easy I reckons. Not to mention the fact that every person paid is a new 8 bit user for us.

Well hope some of my ideas strike a chord.
Cheers for the read.
Im still here as well and have coins to donate...A weekly video game tournment sounds great. Coin Invaders is a good idea. Donkey Kong & Space Invaders were my favorite games growing up.

Still holding my POS for someone to take over.   2340 as of now.

With my 4,000, that makes close to 6,500 for our savior.

Pretty nice incentive if you ask me.  It would be difficult to acquire that amount at market.
I can donate 2,500

Do you still need a video on setting up masternodes?
I can do it within the next days if you still want/need it.
To the ones wanting to donate for this, how many coins do you want to donate for this?
Will do it anyway, to help out new investors wanting to setup nodes.
Happy staking/masternoding!

IW

I will give 200 8bit, but best to make the video after the fork IMO.
I have 200 for MN set up video

New code will be released on Sunday, 23 Aug (UTC).
I am still not sure about binaries. Will do my best to publish them with the new code.

I can't compile the binaries, but if you need to outsource them, I'm offering to pay that person 300 8bit

i will pay the 300 8 bit for 8 bit party....

I still have 500 for him... IF he wants it
Same here...
I have 500 to give also

Anybody having problems sending/receiving coins to/from Bittrex? I sent them a ticket. Be careful if you send to bittrex. maybe send small amount first.
I am having same issues. I did finally receive some coins from a couple days ago. Bittrex support said they had to rebroadcast the transaction.

Great to see some action happening here!  I like the new website, its very retro. And just so you know, I took down the old 8bitcoin.org site and redirected the address to 8-bit.party.  You may also want to consider changing the logo.  Everyone knows this is a ripped logo and we should promote creativity.  I put this together a while ago. Maybe we should have a community logo contest.

great logo!

Relax gioma.

What are you doing?

I don't think anyone here will trust a newbie account with a takeover if that's what you're suggesting.

Unless you dox yourself...

Or reveal that you are 8bitproject and have been deathly ill so we can whoop your ass before having you back.

I fully agree with you.

Rule #1 don't trust a newbie account.

Rule #2 show, don't tell.

All I need is to be sure that community is still here and willing to help. I need no single BTC from you. I need 8BIT success.

Great, stop talking and start showing.
Whats going on?

It has been some weeks since i last checked the thread. Wasnt even up to date that mastertrader777 was finally taking it over.
From my point of view we need a relative amount of coins per mn.
Maybe 1024 is high and 512 low. I like the idea of 888 8bit per mn.
I would like to see services for masternodes if its possible mastertrader777, as if they are likely to offer or host a service and get fees paid for it.  Smiley
768 or 888 sounds good to me
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [*] 8BIT [Dark Masternodes][Anon][Roadmap Stage 4] on: June 10, 2015, 03:12:01 AM
There is already 3.71 BTC voted. 74.2% of the needed amount! Not bad for just about 10 hours of "crowdfunding" Smiley. The community of this coin is indeed great.
I think some people are missing now, will join and vote after the weekend.
Cant vote but will donate .5 btc
