Indeed ! Mined on Jan.01.2019 about 24 blocks (confirmed in the blockchain explorer), with an L3+, for testing the pool. After 2 days and more than 1k confirmations still no payment received. Pool not paying ! Do not use it !

For all people to know how things are done here :
Email sent on 19.sept.2018 to animality.co@gmail.com asking what to do for the swap,
got answer to send my wallet.dat to them plus my new account, and i sended few minutes after they told me to.
Never got the new coins and now i found on Discord that the swap ended.
It seems they ignored me and swap was only for friends and family; or my coins was stolen.
After that they opened this second Bitcointalk page witout anouncing that clearly or mentioning the new link on the previous one!
In conclusion this coin became just an horrible joke !

I have a node running that accepts inbound connects, but the last block in the chain is dated 14th April, and I haven't had any connections for a couple of weeks... so I'm not sure whether it's that everyone has stopping mining, or I've been disconnected from the rest of the network for some reason. There is an issue with the staking-mechanism that needs to be addressed.
I have a working copy of the blockchain from 2 May 2017.
A few days after the above date, I did a large transaction to another wallet.
The client went off-line for a while.
When I started it again, it went into staking the entire sum and got stuck.
I also tried to mine again, but the peer on the other side didn't accept my blocks.
Recently I experimented with a truncated version of the chain.
I used one client for mining. Another one was staking for hours.
..
A huge amount of coins disappeared.
checkwallet didn't report any errors.
The old chain from 2017 now has been mining for two days.
So far, no POS blocks since I do not dare put any old wallets on-line again - just in case.
I believe it once was planned to get rid of staking altogether.
Of course, making transaction, staking or mining without previously completing blockchain syncronization will not work. New mined blocks were not valid, transactions also rejected. "checkwallet" is only checking the integrity of the file not the amount in the wallet. To fix your problems : -backup your wallet -download blockchain https://mega.nz/#F!BcYWGIAD!gqtg334lPCN-CHwVDoRsyw and latest release https://github.com/strcoin/starcoin/releases/tag/v1.7.1.0-str-add a copy of your wallet in starcoin folder -also in starcoin.conf file must add staking=0 if you want to stop staking in order to make transactions with all your coins -for wallet check, and recover all your valid coins and mined blocks, start with -rescan option ( path/starcoin-qt.exe -rescan ) , it will take awhile but you will obtain the exact and real state of your wallet. -if you did spread coins in many wallets, do that for each one Don't do anything (transaction, mining) before completing blockchain syncronization. |

Both these peers are at vastly different heights (2.2M vs 3.9M), so hopefully one is just a bit behind the other.

I only have v1.6.0, and it looks like the newest github source (at least from the link in the OP) also carries that version number: https://github.com/starcoinproject/starcoin/blob/master/src/version.h (see DISPLAY_VERSION_MINOR and DISPLAY_VERSION_MAJOR) The OP also refers to a new Windows client version 1.5... So where did 1.6 come from (official github), and 1.7 (windows only client?)  I think my 1.6 client is refusing to connect to 1.7 clients. There's some change between 1.6 and 1.7 which means they can no longer communicate. Is there a newer source code link for this? I can provide Ubuntu wallet if you need it, though anyone can obtain it from the source. Also i may upload the blockchain, again, if things are moving on. Maybe i would try making my 1st blockexplorer if there are nodes ! Does anyone know some working nodes ? |

Have been a fork, Lynx appeared and some guys are happy for that, wish them good luck with that new coin. Bitcoin and Litecoin had forks lately and they feel very good. A fork don't kill the coin, just generates a new one. Somewhere been wrongly announced " KittehCoin re-branding into LYNX".  NOT happening such thing ! KittehCoin is here forever ! This is KittehCoin thread and stays like that. Lynx fans are expected to go on their thread. KittehCoin is doing just fine with her fans and her community; is going forward on her way, being lovely and funny as always.  |
