1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: March 10, 2017, 12:29:07 AM

If you are investor, Lisk is best one. I am also investor and all in Lisk.

Nope. 100% wrong. Lisk is one of the worst investement for traders in 2016. OFC Ico holders are on profit but ALL of post-ICO investors for midterm or longterm lost money. Lisk went to 125.5k and all the way down to 7781sat! This is -93.8% from Lisk ATH.

This is tragedy, not investment. Only Steem was worse.

Don't forget LBC, that was catastrophic. To be honest however, no one lost money unless they sold at a loss. Crypto has constant ups and downs, if you sell at a loss its your own fault. Have to minimize risk by diversifying, always something that goes up...

This is "Major events" for 1 year 15k BTC ICO project?  Shocked Shocked Shocked
***

Even my wife would do it in month max Cheesy... she is a busy woman,
she is taking care of child mean time making transactions, buying house ,now refreshing it, making workouts and preparing me dinner for next day.
In free time she is a cleaning house...
Hey maybe they should hire her ?

PS:Maybe better not because i should do those works alone Cheesy

I don't how is in Germany but in my country you can set up legal firm in 1day...and then you pay $$$ Undecided

so lets sum:
- creating company 1 week maks
- creating foundation one month maks
- The Lisk network launches. 1 month maks just fork some DPOS coin or hire dev from DPOS community
That all work is rated for me at 3months .
Be honest do you think that more is needed ?

If i had 15 000BTC i would do it in one month . How ?
lets hire recommended good profesional IT project manager for year 100BTC...
Lets hire professional PR guy for contracts with investors since people want to be baby sit all time...
Then i would give manager 3000BTC for hiring devs and make project.
And today you would have probably product that you have been payed.
Professional manager don't give a fuck they see time target goal make budget / road map and go.
Maybe you will have some delays like always those are but come on ^^

PS: Max if you are reading this take those advice into heart and
hire that project manager it's obvious that you have problem with time management.
Let people do what they born to do.

Just because your country is lax on regulation doesn't mean Germany is.
barely 64 days into the project after funds arrived dude... and they ARE hiring PLENTY.
You cannot build a good platform in one month no matter how many devs you hire... that's another dumb idea.
Ever heard of interviewing? That's what managers do BEFORE hiring anyone... interview a multitude.
Check your facts before looking so damned stupid.

also... You spammed and trolled ICN the same way, I remember... and they're doing excellent.

Is it really worth discussing with these people? Some are paid to FUD, some are invested in bringing the price down to invest lower, some others are just trolls with nothing to do. Looks at SDC, it was troll after troll... yet the project went from 0.00019 to 0.002 in very little time. Don't waste your time trust me...
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: March 02, 2017, 08:11:19 AM
The price is under 8000 sat, Lisk bubble has been burst completely, it was pumping hard when it was traded at polo, but people do not consider Lisk is good, that is why they dumped lisk hard.

Truth is 99% of all coins are crap. Whales probably don't appreciate having no news for 1 year... little opportunity to pump, so they dump. Most probably bought at ico prices which is 0.0007. Also coin is 103 million coin cap. In my opinion a bit too high, prefer those coins under 10 million and with little to no inflation.

Yep. Shitcoins with over 10 mil supply are a no go for me anymore.

Number of coins has nothing to do with the market cap they can acquire. It is just probably just a psycological thing that you rather see a 1 USD value than a 0.01 USD value or something.

Does the market cap really matter if the coin is impossible to pump due to sheer number of investors selling? Coins like SC, Ripple, SyS have almost insurmountable sell books. Lisk is nowhere near as bad, but 100 mil is still pretty high up there. Takes a lot of money to pump a coin when everyone is trying to sell their stack...

Interesting thing is there are 31 million Lisk on Polo right now... think of it whatever you will.

Lol, you guy's remind me of the SDC scene. Extremely venomous and all of a sudden insta pump 10x. Some whale will eventually pump... heck if somebody pumped shat coins like pot, Bela and cure you know its coming for Lisk Wink... might take 5 months, one year, but eventually it will happen.

Nobody can debate the fact that we, the traders, the owners of Shadowcoin - own the project.

As owners, we dictate the value of what we own. This, my friendly Business 101 students, is what creates a thing called Market Capital

We believed the value to be worth a nice increase in anticipation for Aphrodite and the elusive interview.

As we've come to see neither within a reasonable amount of time, receiving little more than a strong tone of snide and smug arrogance from the team, we collectively chose to drop the marketcap value by 25 percent.

Looking forward to the next "update"

 Wink

Sounds like a lot of bad will and sarcasme from an "owner", the price does not really matter until there is volume. Reality is volume was not even 20 btc in 24 hours and order books are at 23 btc on Polo. Until we start seeing some volume price is irrelevant.

The only ones who are unhappy are the little kiddies trying to make a quick buck.

You probably won't see much volume at these prices since most of us in for the long term, and gradually increase our stake as the piss-ants sell their tiny amounts of SDC.

The weak hands are becoming more and more of a minority. Price and volume will increase when you least expect it. Until then, I'm happy to see prices so cheap .  Grin

Oh totally agree... was just saying his qualms at this point with price are irrelevant. Have no issues with the current state Smiley.

On a percentage basis Shadow is near the top! Wouldn't take much to send it into orbit.  Grin

Shadowcoin 0.22982 USD   1,502,419 USD   6,537,407   6,943 USD   + 14.52 %

All great and it will most likely happen. Just hope the market brings volume. Price doesn't mean a thing until there is high traded volume.

Transactions tab, that view doesnt show if they are valid or not.

Sure.

how much btc did you invest to mine that much sdc?

To give you an idea 20k gives you 5sdc per day,  40k closer to 10.

New wallet rocking it! Smiley

Not sure if this was investigated, but would be nice to have a portable version of the HD wallet. Something you can put on a USB stick and doesn't require user directory access on a local computer. Any way, just an idea Smiley.

Its nice to see so much more activity in here. Also all the negative posts and drama seems to be done with (crossing fingers Smiley).

A new day, nothing but up! Can't wait to see how the new market looks when its ready. No rush, better to perfect the art than to release an imperfect product Smiley!

My wallet is on the right block and is unlocked for staking.  It says not staking because don't have any mature coins but my coins have 1000+ confirmations.  Any ideas why?

Had some issue at the fork too.

What work for me is the following:

1: "rewindchain 1000" in the console (might not be needed)
2: Copied all the content of zip file containing the chain to the shadowcoin folder and overwrite everething there
3: install the new waller versionb 1.4.0.2

Run the new exe. It should take 5-10 min and you should be on your way.

I noticed Bittrex market is disabled due to a "possible fork".  Did they not update to the new version in time?

Market operating nicely on polo, currently above 50k sats.

True, they still allow trading. But deposits/withdrawals have also been disabled. I think it's just because of the recent hard fork, though.

Price rising like a champ, very few people selling. Its looking like its got momentum now Smiley!

Going up and high, still lots of climbing to reach its deserved price!! Smiley

Very solid guys these new updates are going to push the momentum even further.  Can't wait to see how the market works!  Amazing work,  love the new Wallet! ☺️

We actually suggest using the blockchain method, it's way faster ~10 minuters of loading time versus the hours of loading from bootstrap.
https://github.com/shadowproject/blockchain

Place the contents of the zip file into your ShadowCoin folder and you'll be good to go Smiley

What does your altfolio solutions produce? I'm interested in knowing more about that..

Thanks for sharing this mate. I have actually found out syncing of the blockchain slow, but now I am fully synced thanks to the blockchain.zip file. At first, I had some issues trying to import bootstrap.dat file, but then I tried the blockchain zip archive and everything worked like a charm. Exciting things are coming for SDC. I can already feel it.  Grin

Amazing things are coming for sure,  this is the single most undervalued coin out there! You guys are doing a great job!

Love the new site,  very professional!

Anyone know whats behind the quick transactions? Sent some SDC from an exchange and got them in mere seconds. Other coins take ages, is this because there are not a lot of transaction on this chain or is there some other magic? In any case, call me impressed!

Transactions should show up within seconds in your wallet.
Confirmation however can take a few minutes (Shadow runs on 60sec blocks)

On a well run block-chain this is how it should be.

Thanks for the quick reply, definitely impressive. Took just a couple of seconds. Coming from bitcoin its a very welcomed upgrade. Great work on this guys!!!

FYI, to those updating to the new wallet version, there is something with AVAS that prevents the Shadow Wallet from loading. Had to manually kill AVAS to finally get the new Wallet from working.

Just a tip for those having issue upgrading to the latest release!

Invested some more, this project could have some very solid legs. If an ecosystem comes out of it watch out!

<snip>
Thank you for the update!! Any idea why it never finishes loading under windows 10? Used to work fine under the old version, now I just click on it and nothing happens. Do we just replace the files from the old folder or do we need to drop into a new folder?

Also what's the task name to shut it down? It just keeps loading so have to reboot as the task shadow* is not listed.

Thanks!

There will be a reindex on first launch, so it will look like its hanging / frozen. The reindex does take a while, then it will close when its done. After that you can open your wallet and continue staking Smiley

See quote above ^^ reindex can take upto several hours and even more if you have lots of transactions. Best way to check is to see if the debug.log file is increasing in the Shadow app folder.
Process name will be shadow.exe under Windows

Thanks you for the helpful post ☺️!!!
