I am interested in this coin but there is only a Linux wallet. When are you going to provide a Mac or Windows wallet?
There has always been a windows wallet. On the OP, click on the Windows icon. Alternatively, on the main website, http://sjwcoin.com you can find it there as well. Hope this helps |

To get more people interested in sjwcoin I will rain 2 Mio SJW in the next 24 hrs in #sjwcoin IRC channel on Freenode network.
If there will be more than 20 nicks in the channel for a longer time (currently 12), I'll double that amount and will rain 4 Mio in total.
SJW-showers will happen within that timeframe completely randomly.

Side note: I now have a Mac to work with, so I'll be pushing out a Mac client here as soon as I can get around to figuring out how to make it do things.

3. What happened to the GAW Falcon miner? Any chance we can see it soon for sale? Does the halt of sales on the Falcon affects this one too? Seeing that the Falcon and Thunder are almost virtually the same thing.
I bought 4 "27 MH/s Gaw Falcons" from him , i saw a reasonable way to get 120mh/s before the litecoin block halving and i jumped on it. I got them and they only had 2 power cables each instead of 4.. wtf? something is wrong here. no way is this drinking 1000+ watts through 2 cables. I played with the clock speeds because of lots and lots of hardware errors and eventually dropped it to 248, I figured out what i had, also realized it meant 40mh/s less than i was hoping for total. I told him they did not hash as advertised, got an apology and he had no clue that it was a possibly different miner and he felt bad that i did not get what i was expecting, and nothing else. He locked the falcon thread and set up shop on e-bay, I somehow now doubt his sincerity. I'm surprised this isn't locked yet. A reasonable guess for stopping sales of the falcons is a clumsy attempt at damage control. if he handled this better, i wouldn't be posting. The miners i got hash @ 20mh/s , they draw 500 watts of power each cannot clock over 248 without a lot of hardware errors. There is a 1.1v sticker on the hashing boards of all four miners that i bought from him. So that confirms these units are identical to a Zeus Thunder x6 He, or someone he works with is selling his machines here http://www.ebay.com/sch/coinseller88/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3692 and they hash @ 20mh/s, wow! you will find some of the same photos used in the gaw falcon thread, also a card that says keegan_betarigs on one of the miners for sale by that seller. So I received the two I ordered and found a couple of capacitors "fallen off" the boards. Possibly some in-transit damage, who knows. I found enough rolling around in the cases to repair one of the miners by soldering them back on though I'm 2 short of being able to "fix" the second one. At first the one that I was able to repair was mining ~12MH/s but after setting the dip switches (all off on the first board, #4 "on" on the second board, #3 "on" on the third board, and #2 "on" on the fourth board, it's hashing away ~28-30MH/s with < 5% HW errors. I guess this is close enough to being as advertised. Though I really need to figure out the capacitance values of the missing caps so I can order some to get that other miner going. TLDR; try playing with your dip switches a bit, I counted board 1 as the first coming in from the USB port. |

looks better today, halfing very soon, last chance to buy in cheap.. Cool. I'm about to start work on the new wallet, probably this weekend. The initial version is going to be mostly internal, based upon the newer bitcoin codebase. I'll finally push out a public version of the wallet I posted ^^up there if I can come up with some schnazzy new send/receive icons (halp! my artistic skills are non-existent). Once that's out (should just be a soft fork, so any services hosted out there, not mandatory, as of yet) I am going to push on with a new wallet layout that will include some 'social' buttons and whatnot. Make the wallet a little more functional than just being another send/receive boring wallet. The API. I'm still working on it. Part of the soft fork is going to include an update to op_return size. We're going to push it to 256k (currently only 40k). I said the next update will be soft and not technically necessitate the bigger services, like the exchanges and whatnot, to upgrade, but it would be VERY BENEFICIAL to the health of the coin for some upcoming services if they did. I will message individual holdouts on the upgrade after the fact and see if we can get something done. We have some bigger stuff ahead of us. Keep on keeping on. I'm still here and so are you, if you're reading this. We've got some big hurdles to jump but we will continue to push forward, always forward, never backward. |

Just curious, but is $115 the actual going rate for GAW Falcons? I have one I am looking to sell
Seemed like a good enough deal to me. If you tossed in a psu/controller combo I'm sure you could net a bit more. |

There is the 'official' zero-fee pool at http://pool.sjwcoin.com as well as SuchPool at https://www.suchpool.pw/sjw/In addition to these two, cryptopia also offers their 'mineshaft' pool at https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/MineShaft?pool=SJWIf anybody knows of any other pools out there, let me know and I'll add them to the OP. So there's a few options. As it is right now, SuchPool is dominating the rest of them in hashrate. Might be nice to spread some of that around  |

Just an update of what we've got going on right now: Rebranding the wallet to match with our new theme. I'm still in search of some 'appropriate' icons for receive/ send/ send-receive-to-yourself so if anybody has any input on these, let it be known! In addition to this, I am looking at adding some of the social aspect of the coin (twitter, reddit, etc) to the wallet itself. Let me know what you all would like to see in there and I'll see what I can do! Building out the API. I am playing around with several things on this front. Once it is completed, we will open it up so that other online services (wallets, vendors, etc) will be able to effortlessly build in support for SJWcoin. This will be instrumental in getting our Android wallet done, as well. I believe this to be a very important aspect of development. I'll also be announcing something that will build off of this in some time, maybe a few weeks or so. Lots of work to do  Those are the two main things pressing at the moment. Let me know your thoughts and opinions so we can keep dev work headed in the direction the community wants. Thanks! |
