Now we have difficulty problem.
I set 2, I see stratum diff 8.
And what is worse, someone (admin?) changed my account settings (difficulty).

Hi, Slush!

Thanks for all the tweaks you made recently on web site, I really appreciate that.

I have one more small wish, it does not sound hard to implement, but it would be really nice to have a chart of daily profitability for last 30 days or so. Or limit the existing chart to ~2 month.

Thanks!

you can select the time span by clicking and dragging on the smallish chart just below the big one.

The big one works too.

This explains how it works when the miner disconnect during the round: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976.msg50002#msg50002

"Basic idea is that older shares (from beginning of the round) has lower weight than newer shares, which demotivate cheater from switching between pools inside one round. Once cheater disconnect from pool, his submitted shares lose value, so he cannot perform "Raulo's attack" effectively."

This means that I lost the connection at the end of the round?

Why only 0.05.. BTC?

Let me guess - maybe similar network issues like Richy_T is experiencing? I don't see any problems on the pool, all graphs are fully in normal, all rewards of other users are also in normal. So the network problems are the best explanation so far. Although Internet is usually very stable, it's not bulletproof and routing issues happen time to time.

Hi slush

But total shares was 3362857, my 34276, so there is app. 1% block value.
Am I right?

krzys13, diff 37..168/32 (cgminer), stratum say diff 32.
I worked a months without the problems. Please restore it :-)

It is fine, cgminer also see 32 (168/32). So far everything is working good. You have less submissions, but every is credited for 32 shares. That's the point of user-defined difficulty. Your mining income isn't affected, but network resource usage is much lower.

If you want higher submission rate, please change it on pool profile (Edit worker). Especially for your hashrate, 32 is quite optimal. But if you really-really want, you may change it to something around 20...

cgminer api (localhost) is working inproperly!

What do you mean? I'm not a specialist to cgminer, but if there's some bug, please report it to cgminer thread...

Thank you. Works perfect.

I stopped giving a crap for a couple weeks but now I'm back and now BFL's website has actual pictures of the finished product.  That means they have some chips, are assembling and testing some, and are obviously close to shipping.

Yeah, only those chips you saw? Mock-ups. They don't have any chips at BFL, mostly because the chips don't even exist yet. Apparently the chips are going to be finished by next week, maybe, with luck. BFL doesn't know. They have no idea when their chips are going to be finished. But it could be next week. With luck. Who knows?

Filtering through the Inaba speak this is probably how it's gonna go:
 - Finally understanding how Asian fabs work, BFL raises their order from 20000 chips to 100000 to bump up their place in the production queue.
 - Fab decides they finally have time for that weirdo BFL company ....

I've always thought FPGAs were a waste of money. Assuming ASICs come in the next 2 months, indeed hardly anyone would have made a return on investment with FPGAs yet they will find themselves with ...

17  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2500 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); STRATUM=ASIC ready, low stales on: November 24, 2012, 06:30:19 AM
As I promised months ago, in effect since block #209295, pool is now giving transaction fees to miners!

I decided to implement such feature only to Stratum pool, so if you want to collect transaction fees, please use some miner with native Stratum support (latest GUIminer, cgminer, bfgminer, poclbm) or use your preferred miner with Stratum proxy. Setting up Stratum mining will take literally 5 minutes and you will get lower stales and now transaction fees!

It works very well, I can confirm. Thanks Slush.

Hi miners (particularly solo)  Smiley

I use 2.7.5 from the beginning, no issue, congratulations Ckolivas!

I mine solo (small 7970 rigs farm), without the block (with 2.7.5).
Till now - elapsed digging time - 860% expected time.

Just I have such bad luck with this version CGminer and graphics card mining?

Hi.

The problem is that this transaction was a few hours ago.
There was more than 6 confirmations.

I receive many times the payments from Deepbit but this time it is very strange.

Here, I'll do it for you: http://blockchain.info/tx-index/12691147/cab061291b1b6b5e1979711ecb884839fbdfdaf9c747fae75e05b40e658458be

It says one confirmation.

Now is ok, thank you.
