1  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: bitvisitor scam? on: October 15, 2016, 04:41:22 AM
RIP.  Miss this site.  This was the first way I got some bitcoin.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about the idea of a bitcoin shop in big cities? on: October 15, 2016, 04:32:57 AM
bitcoin only would be confusing to many.  Would have to post signs all over the place.  But it would create awareness.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: October 15, 2016, 04:31:07 AM
It would be possible.  But the governments would never allow it.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dollar Collapse - What does it mean for Bitcoin ? on: August 23, 2016, 08:24:29 AM
If the dollar were to collapse even partially.   I believe all assets would go up when compared to the dollar, including gold, silver, stocks, bonds and bitcoin.   Just because when people panic they start moving money around.
5  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about betting on MMA on Cloudbet - What do the numbers mean? on: May 31, 2016, 08:20:06 PM
Thanks guys.  That explains it for me.
6  Economy / Gambling / Question about betting on MMA on Cloudbet - What do the numbers mean? on: May 31, 2016, 08:04:57 PM
What do the numbers mean on this bet?  The 7.35 by Michael Bisping?

Also what does the Over 1.5 and Under 1.5 mean?

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ashley Madison spambot extortion address? on: October 30, 2015, 06:12:22 AM
Some Russian extortion bot is spamming the Ashley Madison email list with a canned threat and bitcoin address to send the funds. See:

http://nypost.com/2015/10/29/the-storm-isnt-over-yet-for-ashley-madison-cheaters/

Does anybody know what the address is? I want to find out how much the Russkies are making.

Come on, fess up. I know at least one of you losers had an Ashley Madison account. Oh, wait you have to be married to do that. Maybe not then.

Here is another one of the addresses. 1NfbMT1SpGfxwyaGJXjBt1VsUD7hy9pt2B

They were one of the first ransom letters out there and they were asking for 10 bitcoins.  Looks like 5 people paid.  I would say all the e-mails are probably being flooded now, And people know that paying won't stop anything.

8  Economy / Exchanges / Re: So coinbase closed my account for gambling... on: October 30, 2015, 06:05:03 AM

What other sites can I use that are easy as coinbase? I could sell a bitcoin one day and the money would be in my bank account the next day with very low fees, less than 1%.

Thanks

I don't know any as easy as coinbase.  You could buy and sell bitcoins for cash on localbitcoins.  Somebody else mention circle.com,  I have tried it.

Also found these,  But can't vouch for them since I haven't tried them.
bitstamp.net
kraken.com
xapo.com
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way to make a living online? on: October 02, 2015, 07:02:26 AM
I am not able to make a living,  but I get a little bit from my blogs.   I do it just for fun.  I think eventually  people will only go to a few different places to buy things.  Amazon, EBay, and Wal-mart will be the kings owning most of the market share.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs spreading very slowly it seems... on: September 15, 2015, 09:52:36 PM
Would love to get a bitcoin and put it in my city.  There is a local gaming pub where they have old school video games and a bar. With a young college crowd.  I think this would be a perfect place for one.

That is it.  I am gonna do some research.

edit-  I would have to set up an Anti-Money Laundering Program.  That sounds like fun.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting Bitcoin on the roads! on: September 12, 2015, 09:21:32 AM

"Don't let the money fool you! Wealthy hard working parents paved the road for me to travel on without any bumps besides the ones I made, for lack of better words!

God Bless America and God Bless BTCitCoin (besides the creation of man and computers, BTCitCoin is one of the greatest creations, period!"

Viva la crypto!

I have been buying silver by the once too,   I fear gold because it is worth the cost to make fake gold rounds.

Appreciate the shout out to your parents too,  That is more classy than the Porsche and the plates!
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Going to use profit I made via BTC to raise awareness! on: September 01, 2015, 08:23:26 PM
I like the idea of the plane.  What about investing in a bitcoin ATM?  That could get people into trying it out.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gyft Co-Founder: Credit Card Spending Now Outpacing Bitcoin on: September 01, 2015, 07:44:03 PM
I agree with Marky89.  Gyft is a great idea that is just reaching a larger audience now.  People buy gift cards all the time for each other,  Why not make some cash back?  This is something that can catch on with everybody,  Not just for bitcoin users looking for an easy way to cash out.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoins has a great future in India? on: September 01, 2015, 11:55:30 AM
With the way free trade is moving,  I believe more jobs will going to where the labor is cheapest.  I believe there is potential for bitcoin in India,  But it is gonna be at least another 10 years.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Describe BITCOIN in ONE word. on: August 13, 2015, 11:56:13 AM
I am with RustyNomad.  First thing I thought was "Freedom".

Countries use currency control over who can and can't do business.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to choose to put 5 BTC into 1 BTC investment, what would that be? on: July 13, 2015, 12:07:09 PM
If I lived in a big city.  I would try to sell for a premium on localbitcoin.  Then buy more from cheaper place online.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2 years ago Cyprus, now Greece? new bubble on the way? on: July 11, 2015, 10:44:32 AM
Everybody knows the trouble in Greece is not over.  Problems with Puerto Rico and China as well.

The World governments need growth, growth, growth and the only way to get that is messing with the currency.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin on webcam sites ? on: July 08, 2015, 11:23:27 AM
The cam sites need to get their cut.  If the girls start throwing up their bitcoin address on a cam site,  The cam site is gonna get pissed cause they need to get their piece of the action.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin was accepted everywhere would you use it? on: July 01, 2015, 06:55:51 AM
I would.  Easier than straightening out lining up my dollars.  I would really like to pay for my gas with it.  And not have to worry about some skimmer stealing my credit card number.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WSJ like bitcoin on: July 01, 2015, 04:03:53 AM
WSJ is probably a little scared to see themselves associated with crypto currencies.  But the WSJ should know more than anybody else what is going on with the worldwide currency wars.

Watching those people line up to those ATM machines should put a scare into people worldwide.  It wasn't long ago bond were considered "cash".  I no longer consider them cash.
