Hi, I have a non-profit website that I've developed with PHP. I'm trying to make the logged in users can output letters in Word with selected data from a query in MySQL. I've tried to use PHPWord, the letters outputted with no data in the letters. Also I tried used PHP COM, but Hostforlife.eu won't let me restart the server because it is shared.
Lastly I wrote a SELECT query with INTO OUTFILE '$file' to create a CSV which the users could download and use to merge into Word, but because the database user does not have FILE access, it produces this error:

Error: Access denied for user 'blabla'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I think Hostforlife.eu will not allow FILE privileges on a shared server. So, how can I get around this. Somehow I want to be able to at least write the query and download the data. Javascript? jQuery? or Something else? Any of you can help me?

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. I am looking to build a small and simple HTML website for my B&B business. The site will be static and consist of just a few pages (4-5) and will have images. Once I have built the website I won't have to edit it much except for maybe a couple of times a year to change opening hours etc. I don't intend on having any online booking system or anything like that it's just going to be a brochure website so that I can advertise my B&B in local paris magazines and put my web address on there so that people can see my site and find out more information before they call me.

So, I want ASP.NET hosting 5 that doesn't cost too much money and of course support latest MSSQL 2014. Preferably with europe server. The cheapest I've seen so far is £5 per month but the features far exceed my requirements. I was just wondering if I could save some money and find something that offers a lot less features. I'm looking forward to Hostforlife.eu. Anyone knows about them? Have you ever had any experience with them? Or do you have any other hosting company in your mind?

I am running an osCommerce app on Hostforlife.eu. I'm not a php expert though. I recently found that some admin pages give errors. I narrowed the problem down to the following line:

Code (markup):I think it's because "register_argc_argv" is off in global php configuration.
I created php.ini in the web root directory and the file has register_argc_argv = on. But it doesn't seem to override the default option. So here are my questions:

- Can I override "register_argc_arg" in my php.ini on Hostforlife.eu? Do you have experience with them.
- If I can't change "register_argc_argv" option, what can I do?
- I want to avoid modify all source codes. But if that's the only option, how should I change the problem line?
