1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: January 21, 2023, 05:45:14 AM

I do feel sory for my friend in the community Robbie, he has coins he won't be able to sell for profit because Rijk is against this same investors for making money, so all investors in Munt are going to be losers because he don't want to make some investors rich and everyone suffers. He also sold all his munt, which was gulden before. Better to hold florin if you support Rijks coins and you have to guess when he will dump his coins and make a new coin.

Rijk dumped most of his premine in 2017, he make lots of money and he will be fine for a long time, so he don't care about u investors.  Both his coins will be removed from the exchanges, EFL had similar volumes before removed off bittrex. It makes me angry he started Gulden because he messed up

chances of EFL and only because he got a good developer he was able to beat us.

I said I wouldn't post again but development has not helped Gulden, money does not need to be smart but scarce. EFL lost a big investor to GRS or EFL will be way ahead of Gulden in marketcap.

Gulden rank #1411
EFL rank #1519

All the premine and development reward did not help Gulden because too much supply.

Florin is a better coin of Rijks because it is scarce.

Rijk has paid for his sins for starting his failed project Gulden which was the reason EFL failed, he made promises he could not keep and failed the Dutch people. All that aside, I made a healthy profit from Florin and already purchased my favourite vegan meal to celebrate. @Rijk you won't hear me complaining about you again. Consider this account of mine deleted!

Poor and selfish decisions in the past chased away loyal investors.

That first dev reward announcement during the start of a price increase I will never forget as the worst announcement I have witnessed in crypto history. It was a kick to the balls.

Gulden is much better off today despite the price, the community needs to build Gulden up before the next reward halving and start asking questions about the dev reward espcially if development is only focussed on the other coin. Can the dev reward be used to get Gulden listed
on litebit, bitcoinmeester etc again? Forget about large exchanges, give people easy options to buy and sell.

The delisting of EFL off litebit was the reason EFL got delisted off bittrex because Dutch citizens were no longer able to buy and sell. The volumes went low. I see the same for Gulden. Low volume for 2 months and bittrex will remove a coin.

When florin pumps , Gulden can't pump. Same community splitting the buying power. Price to fall to 17-19 range.

It's Karma. Gulden killed EFL, Florin Kills Gulden. I asked in 2014 for a merge with Gulden, is it a waste that NL don't have a thriving crypto. Rijk does better with a international coin and wish he started florin in 2014 and not Gulden.

Have decided to start investing in Gulden, lets see how it goes.

Wish people like you were around when EFL needed investment.

I look at other coins and everything looks overpriced except for Gulden. It's clear exchanges make a MUCH larger difference then development quality after 12 years of crypto existence. When i look at coins listed on binance, I normally divide the marketcap by 10 to get a value of a token incase it gets removed from binance.

This is right, if EFL was still on bittrex we would have a higher marketcap then Gulden. We also lost our main funder to GRS, EFL had the potential to be listed on binance if it wasn't for GRS.

I would of notified the GAB immediately when I saw the dev reward was outlasting the sell by date of the developers and GAB.

Max supply is 700 million - RIP date of the developer with reward wallet.

Although I finish selling the last of my Gulden this weekend I don't think it's a good idea for Gulden to change the rewards and let it run. EFL can still be the Dutch coin for scarcity and the foundation is in touch with a developer that is going to help EFL.
Gulden community has Novo as the scarcity coin, maybe time to let Gulden die and let Rijk focus on Novo?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: March 29, 2021, 02:07:07 PM
I like this version of Rijk. Novo is better than EFL with smaller supply and Close to same rewards. My bids got filled on Stex today and I can sell for 80% profit but will hold for 800%. I don't think Rijk understood finance and importants of scarcity that crypto can offer when creating Gulden. Printing high inflation crypto is the same as the central banks printing cash non stop. I am selling what I have left of Gulden and plan to put some into Novo and other coins with low supply.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: March 26, 2021, 03:53:01 PM
It is what it is with Gulden, I can't be angry because Rijk didn't scam or run away from this coin. He also consults with the community well in the last 9 months. It is a sad story because Gulden deserves more credit, I did give my input but most responses thought my input was not helpful.
Nothing will change because the rewards are needed for development funding and if the max supply is changed to < 600 million the rewards will run out too quickly. Gulden is stuck where it is and changes can't be made to max supply and reward.
I understand why litecoin also followed bitcoin with reward halving every 4 years because it makes each coin more valuable for the same or more demand and traders and investors always look at future value.

Why must I pay more for something if the high quantities keep flowing in, that is stupid and not common sense.

What makes a reward halving every 4 years better then a reward halving every 6 months or every 1. Alternatively a 25% reward drop every year or 12.5% drop every 6 months. Why the 4 years?

Efl has halving every 6 months and our reward is 0.09765625 per block. This is less than Novo and more natural but total supply is same as bitcoin.

Without any marketing or development and on one exchange EFL marketcap is close to Gulden, when bitcoin price goes up EFL does better and Gulden much worse because of high inflation.

This with big development and more users but the max supply and no halving is bad for the price.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: March 20, 2021, 06:24:58 AM
Novo has it's total supply reduced from 10 billion to 210 000, this is why the price has jumped 200% in 24hrs. This is a test for Gulden to reduce max supply from 1.6 billion to 600 million and drop rewards by 90%? This is will be a welcome move for Gulden! It will be unfair if 1 project of Rijk does this but not the other.

Rijk has learnt but had my doubts, this is what needed to be done with Gulden and complained many times that the supply and reward is too high, I didn't invest in Novo because of the 10 billion supply but if the price drops to $3, I will buy 500 - 1000 coins and hold.
With EFL the total supply and reward was done proper by the original creator, but he was not a good developer and Gulden does have a good developer but the total supply and high rewards stop it from growing.

GAB is discussing the max supply next week for Gulden on 24th March, looking at the Novo price it does not take a brain surgeon to see what is in the cards for Gulden, invest now before it's too late, gulden already has enough supply to go around.
A good balance is to halve the max supply to 840 million and drop the reward to 55.  Miner 20, Witness 15, dev reward 20

It could be a possibility now that it's been debated by the community time and again. A combination of a 50% cut on the maximum available supply bringing it down to just 840mil instead of having that large permanent cloud over our heads that keeps hindering price growth and investor interest.

On top of that, a halving-like event could also take place every few years, in combination with a re-adjustment of mining/witnessing/dev rewards as the price grows.

eindelijk!!!

E-gulden close to passing nlg marketcap to become the premium currency for the Dutch. Low inflation and proof that money does not need to be smart, it need to be scarce so the value can increase. All the fast development Gulden has before Novo and people want to hold a coin with low supply.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: December 30, 2020, 04:55:05 PM
E-gulden marketcap soon to pass Gulden for first time in a long time. Our low inflation rate is paying off and we ride the btc wave. We knew focus on scarcity was always going to create more value then development and high inflation.

So what?
Then ride the wave and sell a few thousand EFL. With this liquidity the orderbook and price will crash to nearly zero...

No one sells scarce commodity,  people hold gold.

Dems getting into power will be bullish for crypto. Polls are showing the socialists are set to take the whitehouse. Higher taxes, more regulation and take from the rich to give to themselves. The money will flow fast into crypto.

South of the border 4 years ago the pollsters had it wrong.
Bitcoin is pumping because the polls are showing a Biden win, in my personal opinion the Republicans will show up on the 3rd November to seal the victory and bitcoin price will deflate.

While the Soviet Union is no more, no one sorted out the education system which still has Marxist ideology embedded . In 1984 this guy had it right but more Americans are awake to what's going on. Here in Canada not so much.

I want to thank Rijk for giving up on Gulden, EFL is closing in on Gulden marketcap every week because we have a superior reward system. The reward is only 0.97 each block and with not much development it proves money only needs to be scarce and simple and not part of some rocket science experiment. Malcolm is the reason we first lost to Gulden but Novo will be the reason e-Gulden becomes the true currency of the Netherlands with higher marketcap before 2021.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: October 07, 2020, 02:04:35 PM
Won't Rijk end up with a lot of Novo if he is using the btc from the IPO to buy from sellers?

Here's an answer for you, he already owns all NOVO! All NOVO sold on the "market" to date was from his premined stack!

I truly cannot believe people are falling for this again! He copy-pasted the code from Gulden and finally did marketing on his new coin. The marketing was however only to target the existing fanbase to get them to invest their hard earned cash into his pockets again. He knows the limit of 2500 NOVO per investor is more than enough @ a rate of € 3,62. This means each person can "only" invest € 9k in his direct pocket. After losing their life savings on Gulden, this is more than most of them can afford anyway. Lets see, Gulden always claimed they have over 25000 active users right? Lest say they buy for € 250,- on average, that's another cool € 6.2mm for Rijk to call his own private belongings in a couple of years, just like he did with the Gulden "shares"!

Let me set the egg timer for you guys...

New moneygrab of Rijk and stupid people just keep on throwing money at him. really stupid. Where is the trust if he cant stay on 1 project and make it work but he want to go for easy money. He will change the 2500 to higher value for his fanbase when money stops coming. What if this one fail, new one?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NLG] The even greater Gulden thread! on: August 08, 2020, 10:34:30 PM

I see this thread has returned to life.

Total supply for Gulden is 1.68 billion, current supply is 518 million according to Coinmarketcap.com

Another crypto I am invested in is Digibyte, already made 4 times gains with what I invested in the last year and still not going to sell. The supply and reward isn't an issue for Gulden because digibyte has a current supply of 13.4 billion and the price is 227 sat vs Guldens 80 sat.
Digibyte will have a total supply of 21 billion which is 4 times more to be mined than the total Gulden supply.

The question everyone should be asking is this, Why is digibytes price 3 times higher than Gulden with a current supply 26 times that of Gulden?

What Digibyte does better than Gulden imho.

1. Jared is well liked by the digibyte community and he treats people with respect whether it's negative or positive feedback. Also puts himself out there to do meet ups and conferences.
2. Better marketing
3. More exchanges

What does Gulden do better than Digibyte.

1. Development

I made 3.7 btc profit on digibyte, its a good time to be in Btc and Eth as they will be pumping first.

Digibyte is one coin that has done well with high inflation , have to give lots of respect for 13.4 billion coins and triple Gulden price.
