1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin creation/fork service - Get your own Cryptocoin (PoS,PoW,MN) on: May 17, 2018, 03:11:03 PM
Hello,

I have been working as a software developer and supporter for more than 3 years and been into crypto since about 1 year.

I offer to create your own cryptocurrency (algo will be usually Neoscrypt or X11) - from the codebase of Dash, Litecoin or whatever you wish. I can also revive old or abandoned projects - for example if there are chains where the wallet cannot sync anymore on a fresh installation I can make a new one and fix it.

I am always focused on providing high quality software that is tested well. I will also guide you to get fully started with your coin - mining blocks, getting the premine, setting up Masternodes etc. That is the reason why my service is a bit more expensive than other competitors - I provide full guidance to get you started with your coin.

My service includes customizing the chain parameters:

* PoS/PoW only, PoS only from block x.
* Changing max supply, block time, reward schemes.
* Masternodes disabled or enabled.

Also the following steps are included:

* Creating Mac (Will work on Mac 10.6 and higher, 32bit systems supported!) and Windows wallet
* Creating the premine coins, sending them to your wallet.
* Setting up the seed node for you (Means when users start the wallet it will connect to this node and download the latest blockchain data automatically).
* Helping you getting started with mining, setting up Masternodes and answering any other questions you have to get started.

Price: 0.05 BTC

Looks like a cool project. Will ICO participants get a preference when bidding for colonies?

Depending upon your cost of electricity, but most likely yes with these LTC prices....

I remember we did this with chewing gum back in the early eighties. Somehow I never got sent any gum even though I sent to all on the list. I wonder why.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PandaMiner Launches Global Sales! on: February 01, 2017, 10:08:30 PM
Phil,  Does the Pandaminer run smoothly on XMR/ZEC/ETH/ETC?  I know earlier it was reported some things didn't work.  Is everything working now?

I am trying to figure out if these things out of the box are ready for deployment in a hosting situation or if they need reworked to be useful in that kind of environment.  At the moment I am busy buying other things, but I would like to loop back some time this summer and start adding the PM's if they are ready for prime time.

Xmr and zec are solid.

Eth is good at full speed fans.

Right now the hardest thing to do is switch Chinese to English.

I never tested etc do not know.

I like mining xmr pretty good for mining it. 5950 h at 990 watts.

Eliovp mod   Linux rom is 6500 h  at 830 watts. Big improvement.

I agree the hardest thing is to switch to English. That took a while. I made a USB with Smartminer, changed the bios setup to it will boot on that, and it worked out of the box. No more Windows. Smiley Dont think Smartminer has XMR support though yet.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Monero with strictly only cpu's on: February 01, 2017, 10:00:58 PM
That GPUShack unit looked pretty cool but with that price you have a long, long way until payout.... "Most CPU only" algos, like Cryptonight was, now are done with GPUs.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - added sgminer-gm XMR/ETH/ZCASH on: January 08, 2017, 11:12:36 PM
Has anyone tried this with the Panda miner? I installed it now and got it to work - at an acceptable hash rate. But would be great to hear others experiences with it. The feature I am missing most is a profit switching option, or maybe I have not found it yet.

Not sure the fan % are correct as they are not linked to the GPUs as usual. Temp seems to be correct.

I cant seen to find a way to change pools individually on each rig, but only on all. If you have a lot of rigs one should be able to run them on different pools.

Very promising software I have to admit!

What would be recommended CORE and Mem MHz on RX 800?

You are saying that my OS works with PandaMiner out of box ? Smiley
Can you send me PM to admin@gmail.com with this rig number ?
I can tell you that i can apply newer linux kernel and you can hash even faster Smiley

About core.memory.
i would set 950-1100 in core
and memory depend on custom bios but 1950-2300

Yes it pretty much worked out of the box. I will send my rig details in PM. Hashing 231 MH/s on ETH at the moment. Get some error messages on boot but it for sure works, Dwarfpool is reporting correct as well.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: With FPGA mining, are we entering a new era of Zcash? on: January 04, 2017, 10:14:19 PM
FPGA mining could technically be possible but I would be quite sceptical as this shop reminds me of older scams.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The World’s 1st GPU Integrated Miner Is Lauching PRE-SALE! on: December 15, 2016, 04:52:46 PM
This looks interesting. Can the machine be used for general graphics purposes as well or can it only work for mining? It has a lot of GPU power so maybe it can be used for rendering etc as well. How many GB per card? 4?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: A4 Dominator - Pre-Order Group Buy - 280mh, roughly 1000w, $1800 + shipping on: December 02, 2016, 05:37:55 PM
I had a fan fail. Anyone know the CFM? Im looking for a replacement. Best guess, > 200 CFM.
Google search on the part number didnt locate any specs. Also seems difficult to find 2-pin fan connectors.
You can use a 3 pin fan, take the old 2 pin plug, cut the third cable (which is for controlling the fan speed) and just mould the cables together.
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Mining Hardware company "UFOMiners.com" (possibly same as Minerslab) on: December 02, 2016, 05:02:28 PM
I see that cointelegraph runs another story about UFOminers now. Dont these guys do ANY due dill? Pretty scary. https://cointelegraph.com/news/pros-and-cons-of-starting-bitcoin-mining-farm-no-more-childs-play
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone want to do a Baikal Groupbuy? on: November 26, 2016, 03:50:41 PM
I have a few of these as well. Exceptional quality of the hardware and the software is much better than most other miners. Truly plug and play.
15  Economy / Scam Accusations / Bitcoinat.co.uk - Scam on: September 27, 2016, 09:15:24 AM
The website www.bitcoinat.co.uk caught my attention as they claim to exchange bitcoin/eth/ltc to paypal or skrill instantly. Their "exchange prices" on their website, even though they do change a little bit, is certainly "attractive" from an exchange point of view - they are 5-10% above the market (with the exception of the UK Pounds prices). Company is registered in the UK, no accounts filed, sole director Miel Ge has correspondence address at the same address as the firm (a red flag). No KYC to send cash to Paypal - another red flag. No payment processing licence in the UK - another red flag. Not listed with the FCA.
Now here is the main concern:

If you type in the amount you want to exchange, select paypal and enter your email address, a BTC address pops up with the address to send the BTC to. The address is the same each time - regardless of the email address, amount or anything. In other words there would be no way for bitcoinat.co.uk to differentiate between deposits, if two persons fill in the deposit form, and only one of the two actually sends the 1 BTC, the company has no way to see who of the two who actually sent the BTC. Their BTC address - https://blockchain.info/address/135yzkufEp3KkYdubkdnCEP6KFswyYnSfr fortunately only has a very small deposit on it, so hopefully people are aware of the scam. The LTC and ETH addresses so far has no deposits, but this firm only started advertising on Reddit a few days ago. I would hate for newbies to loose interest in Cyber crypto after being scammed by these people.

Needless to say if the staff at bitcoinat.co.uk can prove otherwise, and that they only have made a very clumsy deposit system (which are doomed to fail) then please go ahead and prove it. This smells classic fraud a long way is you ask me.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WINGS - Where DAO Unicorns Are Born on: September 26, 2016, 05:51:46 PM
I just got an email now with the white paper link. This look interesting, and the forecasting module certainly has some merit. The only thing I would say is that one need the "masses" ie plenty of users for it to work.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum mining still profitable? on: February 19, 2016, 12:05:32 PM
But the Dash's difficulty is still around 37xx. It has been there for very long time. I am not sure if that miner is real or not.
I agree with you. Rumours of X11 ASICs have been around for years. But the total mining market on X11 is quite small, and I am not sure it will justify a development of proper ASICs.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Has anyone had luck mining on external pool with Mintsy contract? on: August 24, 2015, 02:29:05 AM
I have had the same experiences as the group here, little delivery on my contracts. That said the customer support has replied when I have asked them and hopefully they will fix it soon. I dont like their own pools and hopefully they will fix the external pool issue as well but for now I just want hash. Bad timing with LTC halving around the corner.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you be trading Litecoin over the next few weeks? on: August 23, 2015, 02:58:04 AM
I dont think any movement, up or down, are priced into the Litecoin price - history has shown that the implicit pricing has not worked so far in the coin markets (and thereby the opportunities).

Looking at the last 12 months difficulty history plus what we have known from previous "halfs" it might be a good place to stash some coins but I would rather bet on the ratio between BTC/LTC than LTC/Fiat (I understand there is an indirect link there). I am not wanting to start a whole BTC vs LTC discussion but the two should live in harmony together - what I would not want to be on the day of the halving is a large owner of WDC and other reasonably large Scrypt currencies, their profitability will probably suffer. Neither would I mine auto profitability algos during those days. I would expect LTC hash rates to fall quite dramatically while some of the other Scypt stuff would be under serious pressure pricewise with hash going up! I personally dont think LTC or the Scrypts will loose much in a longer picture but there will be some volatility!
