For the profits that they generate at the moment they are overpriced. They can easily mass produce them and the profits will drop by half for X11.

I would buy if they were cheaper, not 1 year ROI.

This one http://www.baikalminer.com/ShowProducts.asp?id=468

Hashes at 900MH/s which is pretty good for 200 Watts or so.

0.9 * 0.008 BTC = $5/day
However it costs $3000

So 2 year ROI

Anyone want one of those little suckers or a tower or a giant?

I want to try them out, not sure if I will buy all for myself though and its buy 4 get 1 free

I am a sucker for discounts

I have been hounding them since the moment the products come out,

we should see how much interest we can get and just how cheap we can get them

I have a fair bit of bitcoin so I can upfront the cost and use escrow unless the order is too big haha

peace homies (if this is in the wrong place please move)

WE can't move it but you can Smiley right board is here, the option is in bottom right of the OP Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=137.0

As far as the group buy, ya the ROI is too steep NOW, sadly were at least 6 months too slow to snag a few (at that price).
i have tried to reach out a couple of times thru their website, but they offer no quotes, just an email response i was never quite convinced enough with to follow thru and buy on :/

Where do you live? How can we get if group buyers are all over the world? For example I'll get one from South Africa, other one get 2 in Australia and another one in Canada. Shipping cost would be massive and doesn't worth the discount. You need to specify your country.

ROI is too far away seems to be the consensus

I love these units and wish they were cheaper, even with the multi algorythm roi is still too far?

I have a few of these as well. Exceptional quality of the hardware and the software is much better than most other miners. Truly plug and play.

doing a group buy might be about the same, i know it's for the free one but if it's a group buy who would get the free one/s .

It will be cut on four pieces, of course.  Tongue

we would all split the price (no one gets a free one)

but if order is big enough then maybe we can get more discounts

cheers

So they have to reduce the price by 75% to get the similar ROI for the GPU for the ZCash or ETH mining.

From my experience, Baikal customer services are very friendly. Why not contact with them directly just to ask for a discount? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I'm highly interested in this cute thing, But I can just take two of them(150M), I would be waiting for their kind price dropping.
