1  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥BITSLER > $20,000 Wagering contest + $5,000 Free challenges + Cashback/Chests on: January 01, 2020, 03:48:53 PM
I just realized something bitsler do not talk about enough for marketing. They have their own "token" of sorts in their website called "btslr" and you can seriously make money with it. You can claim it for free, then you get to play with it however you want and at the end of the day if you are winning and in profit you may end up getting a reward for it.

The person who finishes the day with most btslr gets rewards and of course the people who follow that as well so the more btslr you manage to win from gambling (if you lose you can claim again) the more bitcoins you will be rewarded at the end of every day and every week as well, it is quite difficult because somehow people are making thousands from small amounts but I liked it since it was free and gonna keep trying.
uhmm, can't say that it's anything special really... Most of the websites in gambling have some sort of a faucet promo that you can claim for free and then try your luck to get some winnings out of it. The token that bitsler has ir pretty much the same thing as a faucet on other websites, just done with a little twist.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: January 01, 2020, 12:48:56 PM
I think by now we all know that china likes owning their own things. Everything from works to people themselves. So it is not going to be a surprise to see them creating their own coin which will be centralised as hell. But overall, I do not think it would be a bad idea for the Chinese government to accept bitcoin. That would further cause further adoption of the coin, yielding to a greater value of the price of the coin. Also would benefit China to become a better country

4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $10k soon according to Bloomberg? on: December 30, 2019, 10:11:06 PM
It's not far from the understanding of the market. It's easy to achieve 10,000 instead of dreaming of another 20,000 or more. May this speculation not be an optimistic one, but we're about to learn that if we speculate too much, it won't help, but it never happens. If we can go beyond 10,000 then it was great and it's no longer a question. Yet perhaps next year we could only have these pumps.
5  Economy / Economics / Re: what will happens if everyone has own currency, doesn't a bad for Economics ? on: December 30, 2019, 02:29:20 PM
When basically every private person has his own crypto currency, it won't affect the state's economy, as such a crypto currency won't play any role at all and will be completely useless signs. It's not going to be used anywhere, because it won't be needed for others. Therefore, wasting time and money on it doesn't make sense. The better thing is to use what is out there already, especially if it's btc
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: December 30, 2019, 01:12:50 PM
I've been checking the BTC donors here in the forum. I wonder who's going to be next to invest so much. Imagine that you didn't mind spending a few quarters in BTC back in the day and that's how you let it lay down like a stray cat and when you came back to see that cat, it's a tiger now. This just made me buy a little more bitcoin hahahah
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: December 30, 2019, 12:36:23 PM
Those were the days when only bitcoin begins and not many have seen its potential to succeed. The fact that Bitcoin has been rising for 10 years now shows that this technology has the potential to be used in future generations. Not many had understood the effect back then, but few people have and have invested in it, this time making it successful. I do wish I knew this earlier and bought it early, but perhaps in the coming decades we could see new technologies with strong dreams, and we could invest in them sooner.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 30, 2019, 11:54:04 AM
There's nothing we can do but still use the site. It is quite impossible to implement true censorship by restrictions. At the most basic level, it's just a mesh network of interconnected nodes that has the power tore-route in various ways such as proxies and virtual private networks, and similar to the internet, it won't go down as long as there's still a single node running unless every country have imposed an outright ban on internet access
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading on: December 30, 2019, 11:36:00 AM
It's probably there because of the big or small risk of spending, depending on your money and mental preparation. If you're careful with carrying coins, you might be the right holder. But for now, some traders choose a day trader style rather than a manager, considering the current market is very competitive and profitable. And for day traders, because of the price, they won't take too much income. So, I suppose, back to your passion. Don't forget to keep track of recent crypto updates, that might give you advantage over others

11  Economy / Gambling / Re: PenguinDice: An Open Source Bitcoin Dice Betting Tor Hidden Service on: March 01, 2017, 11:49:18 PM
Today I was playing on PenguinDice again. And again I was lucky. I won two times on multiplier x16.830.

Guys I'm telling you this is a great feeling when you bet on 3 and the result is 3. Going to play more there.  Cheesy

well even though the multiplier is really big the winning is pretty much small it's like only 20 cents, I have never tried it before because it doesn't have too interesting design. Also the main thing is that it is anonymous but whats the point in that when you can literally just use a vpn and use any gambling website you want anonymously? Though it is just my opinion, for me it is not interesting too much.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's wrong with Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2017, 01:04:40 AM
There is some problem with bitcoin.  First is not all markets recognize bitcoin, second is that it is hard to earn because sometimes by not meeting face to face with the seller you may get scammed, and it is always happening.
well that's because of a small adoption at the moment, but in the future I'm pretty sure that as the price rises and as more and more people will be using bitcoins, more markets will be allowing people to use it as a payment method, everything comes with time and it will happen sooner or later, there's nothing wrong with the bitcoin at the moment.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: February 28, 2017, 12:54:48 AM
China will keep getting most of the hashing power as long as its profitable to do so, and this coupled with the fact that no one is still competing against them will keep making the China monopoly bigger, but Andreas says that we will see new technology developed that will decentralize mining again.
well of course they will do that, I mean it is a pretty rich country that can invest a lot of money into mining first of all because they can easily get nearly free power besides that they can create their own hardware, though I have to argue that it is controlling bitcoins, even though they have a lot of impact bitcoin is controlled by everyone in the world who owns it and that's how it will always be.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Love Fast BTC today! on: February 26, 2017, 10:17:58 PM
I think it's because the issue blockchain was having in past has been fixed and now transactions are confirmed very fast.
Let's see if this happen again in future.
well those days are long at the moment because the blocks are very full nowadays and in the future it will be even harder to get your transaction confirmed really fast, though if the segwit gets activated the problem would be solved really easily and even if the segwit does not get activated we need to do something about it like allowing bigger blocks because without it bitcoin will be less and less attractive for people.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not dead yet but should be. on: February 26, 2017, 10:11:42 PM
Bitcoin cannot death. It is going to replace all other currencies. It has a long life and also it is going to give life to many people in this world. So it is funny to say bitcoin is going to die.
bitcoin can actually die because of a wide variety of reasons, first of all people can start selling it really fast and then the bitcoin price would go down rapidly thus bitcoin might even die if people decide to never invest in it again, besides that governments might start banning it thus people would be afraid of using it, even though it is possible i doubt that bitcoin will ever die because people want it to be successful
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: I don't want a $2,000 bitcoin by February on: February 25, 2017, 08:42:54 PM
He will go soon at 550$.

I do not think it will go down that far. We have a healthy support at 800 before the price pushed to over 1000. If it is going down, the bottom will be at 800 and above.
of course it won't those days are long gone and will never come back, I would even doubt that bitcoin can drop under one thousand dollar price, of course I am not saying it is impossible, but it is highly not likable to happen, bitcoin is really strong right now and it becomes only stronger with time as more and more people jump in, so let's use bitcoin as much as possible and give it the power that it deserves.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: That's time that's sure : we are in a pump on: February 25, 2017, 08:37:36 PM
And down we go. See you at low $800s high $700s.

Really?
well honestly it is really possible because it might be that the bitcoin is just pumped at the moment and all the growth is just fake created by the speculators to make as much profit as possible, though it is also possible that it is a natural growth because the demand of bitcoin is increasing at a very rapid pace, hopefully that is the case and bitcoin is going to be only bigger without any drops.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: New down trend. $1000 definitively broken. on: February 25, 2017, 08:34:07 PM
It seems i was right after all.
An insane amount of shorts are being filled right now. Smaet people making massive profits. We can expect this to continue for a while.

Bitcoin just reached an ALL TIME HIGH proving that you have been wrong time and time again.  You need to capitulate and go long before you let this once in a lifetime opportunity pass you by!!
well bitcoin price always goes down or up from time to time thus he is sometimes right sometimes not, right now there does not seem to be too big of a down trend and bitcoin is still strong over 11 hundred dollars per bitcoin, i think it will keep up like that for quite a while but it is definitely not a fact that it will never drop under 1 thousand dollars once again. Traders can make some good profit right now out of those fluctuations.
19  Economy / Speculation / Re: $1200 on: February 25, 2017, 08:33:47 PM
bitcoin prices really go up and almost touched the $ 1,200 price. I believe, tomorrow for sure the price has exceeded $ 1,200. the speed of price increase is happening so fast. I just hope that these prices will be completely stable in the long term.
I think the price will still not touch at $1200 value and i think the price could be still stay long in this price.. or the price could be decrease soon..
Just lets hope that the price of bitcoin will not go down below $1000 if its  happen the price could be increase and touch to $1200.

What do you guys mean? 1220 was hit last night. We've already hit 1200 several times
that's true, the next big stop is going to be 1300 dollars and i think it can be achieved pretty soon if the price does not get dumped any time soon, i hope that we are not in just a pump and dump at the moment.

Even if it gets rejected and I believe it WILL get rejected, I think they price might stay up.
Totally exspected, due to halving effects. If it has been fivehundreds before halving, you can experience 2x of that afterwards.
The price doesn't have to double after halving, it is about buyers and sellers. Take the first halving for example.
Remember also that with each halving there is 50% less coins left to be mined. That means more coins in the circulation and presumably more hands that want to dump it, if the price to sell is attractive. That has to be compensated by more new money flowing in, otherwise the price will decline.

The first has been more influenced by emission rate, since there had not been millions of BTCs floating around. For a currency that got dubbed beeing deflationary by nature the inflation has been horrendous high.
Today one needs a way bigger lever to move this big mass of a $18,000,000,000 Marketcap. Only the blocksize debate could mess with it, not a single trading entity. If Segwit fails, BU stuck, people loosing patience perhaps.
That is exactly why the price has absolutely no conection (or very little) to halving. Halving may be used as a an excuse to pump the coin, but in the long run, it is as you wrote: you have more coins in circulation and thus you need each time more new money flowing in, in order to keep it going.
it is funny to see how people say that it does not have any impact on the price, I mean just think about it, it gets harder and harder to get bitcoins while the demand increases and increases over time, then of course the price grows in a long term.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: October 05, 2016, 12:40:11 AM
Some people use many Bitcoin wallet specially those people who wants to earn a lot of bitcoin every week for signature campaign plus many accounts here in bitcointalk. As for me i only use 1 Bitcoin wallet , 1 is enough for me to received and send bitcoins.
it is very possible. bitcoin wallet reproduce address can also bring opportunities to earn more money. we are free to use it. it is a choice.
Yeah May be that is right but use so many bitcoin wallet will make them get higher fee cost. but If they do this becouse of security . It could be the best way, becouse everithing in the internet is could be hacked by some one who know about how this texhnology work.
well yeah bitcoins are really safe at the moment but it might be hacked in the future too
