1  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unreasonable Withdrawal Limits on Betiro on: June 13, 2024, 09:49:16 PM
while withdrawal limits can be annoying it has valid reasons why they are placed. From what I remember reading, one of the reasons is there are gambling regulators that require online casinos to have withdrawal limits as a way to prevent money laundering.

You are right about the significance and importance of withdrawal limits, however, I don't see any logic behind reducing the limit drastically without informing the gamblers or customers which is what they did and that is wrong and there can be no justification given about it. If they had plans to make that change or had decided to do so, they should have at least let the players know that they had made some changes in the terms and conditions.
and I completely agree with that and there is no justification for saying that they updated their withdrawal limit per day to only 500USDT without putting it on their terms and conditions. anyway, my reply on Dunamisx is entirely directed to the statement he made where he said "To me i see no reason for a withdrawal limit" which I don't really agree with.

edit: I checked their ToS just now and it looks like they finally updated their ToS and included the changes they made. not sure when they did that because the previous time(June 9) I checked their ToS they haven't updated it.
2  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unreasonable Withdrawal Limits on Betiro on: June 13, 2024, 07:36:33 PM
To me i see no reason for a withdrawal limit as long as the user is not having any related issues concerning incomplete gambling compliance to the platform either by cheating or failing to complete their required kyc mandate
while withdrawal limits can be annoying it has valid reasons why they are placed. From what I remember reading, one of the reasons is there are gambling regulators that require online casinos to have withdrawal limits as a way to prevent money laundering.

anyway, I also remember reading that withdrawal limits also benefit the casino as it can protect their interests, as you know if a gambler with a lot of funds can't withdraw all their funds in just one transaction there is a chance that they'll gamble with the remaining fund left on their account n the casino.
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam or Legit on: June 13, 2024, 05:45:10 PM
now shes telling me I need to purchase $1000 in trding signals or I can't withdraw, does this sound fishy, does anybody know of her?
Thanks in advance
it's a scam, and the "profit" they show you is just bait to get more money out of you. sadly you'd most likely not get you money back again.

regarding her IG account, she has a lot of followers but if you check her comment section you'll notice that all the comments are pretty generic and looks like it is just created by a bot to bring traffic to her posts. using bots is not uncommon to use by scammers, they do it to make it look like their page is getting a lot of traffic is legitimate.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you receive bonus bets/free spins? on: June 13, 2024, 04:39:28 PM
Bonuses is pretty common on crypto casino. Crypto casino like Metawin which you can find on my signature space always have different bonuses every day that you can take advantage.
though it is not a bonus or freespins I just want to add that they often have giveaways on their X account(formerly known as Twitter), so @OP if you are curious about it you can visit their X account and join their giveaway.

If I had my own sportsbook/casino I would be giving the maximum amount of bonuses to reward customers but the majority do not do this.
that's because casinos/sportsbooks are businesses while some can be generous with the free spins or bonuses they would not give too much since it could affect their profits which is what they are always after.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Understand Math? on: June 12, 2024, 08:51:23 PM
In gambling do you think that your understanding of math would make you better at gambling. Not necessarily by making you hit the jackpot, but in winning moderately, gambling responsibly, and in choosing strategies for games like poker or blackjack, over games of pure chance like slots or roulette? And now, back to the lottery quote, do you agree?
yeah, I agree, the lottery is a tax on people who do not understand math. also, if you understand math you'd most likely be more cautious towards gambling since you know the probability of you winning and losing in the long run. you'd also be more responsible about your gambling habits and probably be more picky when it comes to what games you want to play and you would probably choose games that don't heavily rely on luck.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Experience with online gambling on: June 12, 2024, 07:44:19 PM
Hey guys! I'm curious, has anyone else out there had any experiences with online gambling? I've been thinking of giving it a shot, but I'm not sure what to expect. Are there any reputable sites that are worth checking out, or are they all just scams? And what about the legal side of things - is it safe to gamble online in the first place? Would love to hear from people who have tried it out and can share their two cents.
I am not trying to be rude but have you spent at least a little bit of your time reading some threads on this forum, specifically this gambling board? because if you do you'd see that all the gambling sites that are advertising here in the forum and the majority of the thread about casinos are about online casinos. As for reputable casinos and or whether they are just scams, you might need to spend some time reading through this board and doing some research regarding the casino, members can recommend casinos that are considered reputable and it is up to you whether to trust their recommendation or not.
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRONOSBTC.COM IS A SCAM!!!! on: June 12, 2024, 05:04:57 PM
I was captivated by the fact that I was able to withdraw funds 2 times, with a profit of more than 200$, and the 3rd time I'v got a withdraw block Grin Apparently the scammers slept through this moment
Don't fool yourself, they weren't "sleeping", they simply played the long game to give you sense of security and to lure you to deposit more money.
exactly, it is one of their strategies to further put the victim's guard down and make them believe that the platform they are dealing with is legitimate.

@OP you aren't the first one who has posted here that was able to withdraw some money from a scam website. If I remember correctly, the majority(maybe all) of the people who posted here in the forum and experienced the scammer's strategy that was used on you have lost more money.
8  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRONOSBTC.COM IS A SCAM!!!! on: June 12, 2024, 12:55:29 PM
To complete this process, you must make a one exact test payment (190 USDT) . Once verified, the funds will be credited to your account balance and made available for withdrawal."
reading this part already tells me that the website is nothing but a scam. it is sad to say that you'll never see the money you sent to that website but I do hope this serves as a lesson to not trust anything just because of videos you saw online.

I saw a couple of dozen videos on TikTok about this arbitration on this exchange
never believe an exchange just because you saw videos of them on TikTok. TikTok is littered with scam videos and people shilling for scams.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: ITF TENNIS MATCH FIXING LOOKING FOR BETTORS on: June 11, 2024, 06:30:52 PM
You only say it’s a scam because there’s a bunch of people who scam like this. I can show proof of messages with player, previous bets and i’ll show my own bet i’ve placed with thousands before you place yours.
you aren't the only one who has offered fixed matches here in the forum there have been people in the past who have offered the same or similar things. also, I doubt anyone would be interested in looking at your "proofs". the reality is that what you are offering is extremely risky(which will be shouldered by whoever accepts your offer) and is very prone to scamming and it would just be for the best to give warning to others and avoid you.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.GAME Sending emails with the title, ''Withdrawal Notification'' on: June 11, 2024, 04:37:22 PM

I have received four emails now on  consecutive days 7, 8, 9, 10th June. So it clearly a part of their luring strategy.
What is shameful is that they even after posting this thread they have sent me one more.
I am asking again, have you brought this up to their support? You seem to be concerned about this kind of behaviour from them, so wouldn't it be better to inform them about it? also, asking their support would clarify the questions that has been asked whether the emails came from them or if it is a phishing attempt.

Can another regular user of BC.Game in BitcoinTalk confirm if they have also received the same kind of email?
I am not sure if _act_ is a regular user of BC.Game but he mentioned in his post that he hasn't received such emails from BC.Game.
11  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Just For Laugh] What kind of advice is this? 😂 🤣 🤣 on: June 11, 2024, 03:47:03 PM
the guy giving the advice is being sarcastic and trolling the OP of that post, I mean, he deserves it since the OP of that post is clearly being an asshole to the person he borrowed money from. only a moron would actually take the guy giving the advice seriously, but I am curious whether the OP of that post would actually take the guy's advice seriously😂
12  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Account wiped with $64k on Rollbit.com on: June 11, 2024, 12:13:43 PM
just curious, when you say you registered and live in Luxembourg, do you mean that you are permanently living there or just for a couple of months or a year?

there was a similar case before posted here on the forum(not the same but similar) but I am not sure if the casino that the gambler has an issue with is also with Rollbit. anyway, if I remember correctly holydarkness(a forum member) helped the user get his issue resolved. I'll try and send him a PM regarding your case, perhaps he can help you too but there is no guarantee whether your case with Rollbit will be resolved.

would you mind posting any screenshots supporting your claims? it would really help forum members believe whether your case is legitimate or not.

This is their official account on this forum that you can send message to: Rollbitcom
if OP wants to contact their forum representative, he should contact Rollbit Razer, he is usually the one who handles issues like this on the forum.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BC.GAME Sending emails with the title, ''Withdrawal Notification'' on: June 10, 2024, 08:08:12 PM
seems like it is something that needs to be addressed if it is really true, but it could also be a mistake, I'm curious, since you seem to be concerned about this incident, have you asked their support as to why they are sending these "misleading emails" to the people who have registered on their gambling site?
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this a scam attempt? on: June 10, 2024, 03:50:54 PM
Is this really a scam attempt?
It might be, because judging by the thread hosseinimr93 shared, the PM Tajimas sent you is probably an opening conversation for his scam attempt to you if you continue conversing with him. If you are suspicious of the PM he sent you and you think he is up to no good, you can just ignore the PM he sent you or maybe report it.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino companies' responsibilities to rehabilitation institutions on: June 10, 2024, 02:50:45 PM
my question is, do casinos need to be charged to carry out csr to rehabilitation centers so that these rehabilitation centers can provide discounts for cases related to gambling addiction?
from what I remember there are countries that require casinos to do CSR(corporate social responsibility) but they are not forcibly required to do it towards rehabilitation centers. As far as I know, the casinos themselves pick what kind of CSR they'll do.

and what about online casinos, how should they carry out csr since they operate globally?
It should not be much different from how brick-and-mortar casinos do their CSR.
16  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unreasonable Withdrawal Limits on Betiro on: June 09, 2024, 05:50:49 PM
Maybe he didn't check properly that there's certain unfair condition implemented by a casino. That's why its important for us to know their rules since we might get surprise on what those casino have done and can possible avoid them while we don't encounter any issue.
there was no mention of the $500 daily limit on their Terms and Conditions, the OP only found out about it when he tried to withdraw again but couldn't because he reached the limit. their support even admitted that they are still updating things(their ToS) on their casino. so yeah, there was no way to know or indication that they had a $500 withdrawal daily limit before OP reached their daily withdrawal limit. also, even to this day they still haven't updated their Terms and Conditions.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny - Pacquiao VS Chihiro Suzuki Exhibition Match on: June 09, 2024, 04:59:11 PM
Do you think Manny Pacquiao still has what it takes to fight in the ring, this could be a tune fight to the match awaited Pacquiao - Mayweather2
I think yeah, the guy looks pretty good and healthy despite his age. the match will only last for 3 rounds with 3 minutes each round so I don't think he will have any trouble in this exhibition match. As for whether this will be a "tune fight" I am not really sure, there have been rumours going around in the past that there are talks between the two camps about a Mayweather vs Pacquiao rematch but nothing conclusive really came out.
18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: With is the minimum post require to earn a merit on: June 09, 2024, 11:24:19 AM
So please I will like to get more clarifications on the possible requirement for earning merit.
other than posting helpful posts, joining a discussion or even just asking questions, there really isn't any more possible requirement for earning merit. if you want to continue earning merit just be active and continue joining discussions and posting helpful posts. also, just to be clear, just because you think you have posted something useful doesn't mean that it will receive a merit from other members.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is web3 casino the new trend for casinos? on: June 09, 2024, 07:59:06 AM
This puzzles me because I thought web3 casinos would completely offer anonymous gambling, but the word "compliance" suggests that we will still need to verify KYC.
without AML that is what it is supposed to do, but web3 casinos want to operate legally and in order to do that they need a license and the result is they will be regulated. it's the same with crypto casinos, it was supposed to be a casino where gamblers can gamble anonymously but regulation ended that because crypto casinos want to operate legally.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is getting addicted to gambling right or wrong? on: June 08, 2024, 06:04:18 PM
I also know people who are wealthy today through gambling. So, is it wrong to be too addicted to gambling? how can it be control or how can one manage gambling?
it's obviously wrong, have you seen the effect gambling addiction has on people? Have you seen how it wrecks their lives? gambling addiction cannot be controlled, they are addicted, they are dependent on gambling, meaning the urge to gamble is too much for them and it doesn't matter if they win or lose as long as they can gamble. also, seeing people become wealthy through gambling isn't much of an example to use when asking whether gambling addiction is wrong or not.
