Hello.

Would this bot function on a site like bitlendingclub.com ? Or, a similar site?

Right now, there are about 0.01 BTC to invest at 0.00010000 BTC each for about 100 transactions. This number could increase substantially later. Also, as investments are finished, new one need to be made.

Could this bot help with some of this? (Perhaps with some modifications?)

There is a "filter" function under the "investment" section, which can show, for example, only certain types of requests based on time/length of repayment, or location, credit rating, total amount requested (a range) and so on. Perhaps given some pre-specified criteria, this bot could auto-fund some types of requests?

If there would be a cost for this please estimate this and perhaps could ask for some separate funding to help modify or assist with development costs.

The normal target is to always offer the micro-investments at a 12% APR, or 1% per month approximately. In the past using private micro-investments, this rate was sometimes increased for various reasons, usually due to either the project being higher risk or because the investors were seeking a higher return for profit. But, now with CharityChip this rate of 1% per month is held constant and the risk is lowered by investing only small amounts per request. As a result, this helps to both diversify the overall micro-investment portfolio as well as allow a larger number of investments.

It has worked well in the past and it is typically a significantly lower rate than all other offers, for example 7 times lower in the previous example, and there has never been a complaint about this rate from more than 100 total investments made. In this case, the "profits" from this 1% rate per month are simply re-invested into the total fund for future use as opposed to paying out some return to investors.

In the case of "donators" the amount given is kept permanently with the fund, while those who are "supporters" specify a date to return their funds (or a date to discuss how to continue).

The CharityChip micro-investment fund has now about 0.01 BTC plus a small amount gained from the first successful investment made (which was re-paid early with the almost 0.5% interest).

Typically, there are many more investment requests made than offers available at a given time, and in general, they (the "requestors") are very satisfied to have more funding. If the small amount of interest paid is then used to help fund more projects, this would be an additional bonus that they would likely enjoy. So, both in terms of the rate and the use of the funds, there is not really an issue with these 12% APR payments.

Also, because the total amount is a micro-quantity, this 12% APR only amounts to a small number of satoshis (0.00000047 ฿) which could be earned easily from a faucet or something similar for free.

There isn't such a way that site has this kind of link. When logging in it goes to some pages, but it's all within some program format that would not allow "outside" views (this is some kind of database or javascript setup maybe?).

However, if you were to browse some of the listings, you may find where CharityChip has invested. A screenshot was attempted to paste before along with the link, but some "security" feature blocked the urls where the images were stored.

This is for charity to help others who use funds for developing businesses. It is like philanthropy or whatever kind of "help" one may call it.

For those who maybe would like to do this kind of micro-investing, but neither have the time nor experience to do so, it is like a "service" to help those who wish to give. Of course, the small business projects also benefit from more investments. And, because this "system" has already been done successfully on a private basis before, it is a rather straight-forward "service" to offer.

As a donator or supporter, though, there would be thanks given and probably some kind of positive reputation gained. Generally, these things are secondary, but sometimes people wish to give specifically for this reason. Larger donators also sometimes make contributions to gain tax or other benefits. Probably there is no "minimum", but because of transaction fees [costing 0.0001], it would probably be best to make "support" [returnable] funds of like 0.001 or more. For "donations" very small [0.0001 or less] are fine as the funds would be held and re-invested.

Hello. This is a new topic for the "CharityChip Micro-investments".

Donators and Supporters are asked to voluntarily provide some BTC bitcoins for use in supporting new business ventures around the world. These are typical individuals seeking to make some new business opportunities using bitcoins or for bitcoin-related projects.

A similar project was done privately for about 6 months with overall positive results. Micro-loans were typically offered at the lowest rates available and served a braod range of borrowers geographically. Investments in business-related ventures are specifically targeted, and investments in specific projects are usually a very small percentage of the overall request. This helps ensure that limited funds are used and distributed fairly whiel also reducing risk exposures.

This project is currently operating using the BitLendingClub website, with investments originated from the account named "CharityChip". There are approximately30 countries that actively participate in this, and the site has a good track record for these loans for micro-investments into small businesses. The overal ROI for all investments over about a 6-month period is about 10-20%. The yield is close to 20%, but the net returns drop due to occasional defaults. However, with good investment selection and risk-reduction due diligence, the success rate is about 95%.

Donations would be used to make investments, and then permanently "re-invested" into the lending program once paid/completed. This would be a "one-way" contribution from someone who would like to make a simple donation to this project.

Supporters, however, would offer funds for a limited time, and then the original amount returned; profits from these investments would be permanently re-invested in the project.
