1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SAFFIRE - Exchange Listing Intermediary on: October 01, 2018, 05:31:53 PM
All I can say is thanks, I'm satisfied with the service

ETA ran just over seven days but I gather that it was more due to processes on hitbtc's side
I'm pleased with how everything has panned out. Recommended if you are having a tough time with the exchanges like I was

Seiko is quite helpful
Good service

What do you recommend then as an alternative to polo?
I'm not sure that there are many exchanges with the same good rep as poloniex
what are your suggestions?

Bittrex is always our first choice. Binance is also an option.

With both of these platforms there are strict procedures that you must follow as far as listing is concerned.

The line between the correct and incorrect approach is razor thin, so it's important that you hit the nail on the head.

The one thing you want to avoid is receiving official rejection from the review team at either Bittrex or Binance.

It will make things much more difficult and time consuming.

So it's better to ensure that your approach is spot on, that way you will avoid complications.

I wanted to hold out for a few days, but time is of the essence
So I'm just gonna bite the bullet and move forward with you guys
Lets go ahead and do it

Everything sounds good and i hope this goes well
if so, i promise you, there are others that I know personally who may need assistance
I look forward to working with you and i'm excited to start

Where are you guys based?
What about Poloniex? Why have you left them out, I dont see any mentioning of Poloniex at all?
We want to get our coin listed on Poloniex.
Have a look at your pm's, I messaged you yesterday please check

Sorry we do not work with Poloniex at all. Please do not contact us about a Poloniex listing, we will ignore your message.

Please read all of the information included in the 'Exchange Tiers' section of our main website.

Regarding coin listings - we work with Binance, Bittrex, HitBTC, KuCoin and some others. If they are not mentioned on our website, then we do not work with them.

If you contact us about an exchange that we do not work with, we will not respond at all.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Government Starting to Buy Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2015, 01:01:03 PM
With digital currencies in general, there are questions that can be asked which will often lead to answers that run contrary to the rooted belief systems of libertarians, anarchists and etc.

the federal reserve and the bank of england have painted themselves into a corner with 0% and 0.5% interest rates. They are, in all senses of the word, incapable of lifting interest rates because even the slightest rate hike would unleash financial hell on a GLOBAL scale.

I'd be surprised if every government in the world doesn't have at least some form of an active 'pro-bitcoin' strategy
7  Economy / Economics / Re: A noob question. on: October 26, 2015, 07:22:33 PM
The halving is near, and as many of us know, it will slow the amount of coins "minted" each time the miners find a block. I understand the basic of supply and demand, and I also know that the lesser the supply is, the higher the price. But what if there is a less supply but also less demand on the other side? Would the price still be high as expected? Or will it be low because apparently there are no buyers on the other side of the market?

Confused here. Please help.  Huh  Huh

There are thousands of people globally that transact with bitcoin on a daily basis and the amount of daily users has been growing over the last six years, so it's more than likely that the demand will continue to build up.. thus, block halving will cause bitcoin's value to increase - almost by default
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation and Deflation of Price and Money Supply on: October 16, 2015, 08:48:46 PM
you guys reckon a reserve bank of some sort would help, not owned by a government but something like that.

This is definitely not an option, in effect this would be taking a distributed ledger and injecting a lethal dose of centralisation
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: cash remains the only option if there's an emergency on: October 16, 2015, 08:46:13 PM
A country wide outage is highly unlikely. As long as there are suitable methods of transportation, you'll always be able to get to a location that will at the very least allow you to access the internet via mobile, which will in turn allow you access to your coins
10  Economy / Economics / Re: Martin Armstrong Discussion on: October 16, 2015, 08:33:36 PM
Armstrong has a few interesting insights into the economy. Alternate views are always refreshing, and half the time turn out to be quite accurate... something scarily accurate
11  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Verify a signed message in PHP. Without downloading anything on: October 16, 2015, 08:25:45 PM
Whats the benefit if you rely on an API anyway?

You reduce stress on disk space and you can cut back on bandwidth usage at the same time
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Bitcoin? Some insights. on: October 16, 2015, 08:21:59 PM
Overall it's quite hard to get actual geographical stats for bitcoin usages due to the use of proxies and other tools

There are also developers all over the world that are working on fully anonymous wallets for bitcoin that will make it even more difficult to pin point geographical locations that transactions are being emitted between
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the undisputed global public ledger, but we need a private one too. on: October 16, 2015, 07:46:41 PM
We already have many private ledger. They are called FIAT and stored in Bank's DB. Private... No ?

They are absolutely not private.  And they are certainly not decentralized.

Yet another scenario that exposes government corruption whilst simultaneously promoting the benefits of blockchain technology
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will the world look like in 10 years if Bitcoin succeeds? on: October 16, 2015, 07:41:27 PM
Distributed, autonomous corporations. There's not much more to be said other than that.

Just like how the internet gave rise to dozens of brand new industries that we couldn't even imagine pre-internet, dozens of new industries will be created due to the plethora of innovations that the blockchain makes possible
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blocksteam side chain released on: October 16, 2015, 06:26:57 PM
My criticism of sidechains is based purely on them being to convoluted and complex, and also there's the fact that the door is left open for bitcoins to be lost on sidechains which of course would reflect badly on Bitcoin, and be used by the media to launch another tirade of negative propaganda

Also, if the overall goal is for exchanges to become more transparent, then these same exchanges being able to use such a sidechain achieves the opposite. Transparency will bring many obvious advantages for bitcoin
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: October 16, 2015, 06:19:12 PM
The 1 MB blocksize limit limits how many poeple can use Bitcoin.

The issues that bitcoin currently has will ultimately be solved and eradicated by other blockchain based applications and protocols
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you think about Bitcoin, Visa, Mastercard and Paypal on: October 16, 2015, 06:14:44 PM
Bitcoin :
- buy smartphone
- download bitcoin wallet
- buy and sell bitcoin

Credit Card OR Paypal :
- open bank account
- pay for credit card
- limited supply per day, week and month
- open paypal account
- wait 3 days (4 numbers in bank account debit)
- limited supply per day, week and month
- can be freezed at any time for any bullshit

Totally agree

Bitcoin proposes a superior system that just cannot be matched by the likes of visa etc

The most important factor is bitcoins trustless nature

You simply do not have to rely on the competence (or lack of) any one individual which is something a typical centralized corporation is incapable of competing against
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: October 16, 2015, 06:05:33 PM
Bitcoin is already a global currency, and the first of it's kind. The rate of adoption will increase once the average man on the street realises just how powerful the blockchain is

There are legal frameworks being put into place and, although regulation isn't what those who truly understand bitcoin actually want - it does open the door for mass adoption

and alot of people also gloss over the fact that bitcoin's rate of adoption has been growing on a yearly basis
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: October 16, 2015, 04:00:02 PM
Exciting times are ahead for blockchain technology in general. It's main effect will be the expansion of the global economy by providing economic resources to the worlds unbanked, thus adding the financial weight of 3+ BILLION people into the global ecomony
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the commercial banks must hate bitcoin? on: October 16, 2015, 03:53:49 PM
Digital currency is merely our first introduction into a cashless society
