Recieved Collateral released: ca7097aa37229d87bc41f54ae1c4e2b0917c88c371ee23337492040cc0b9359f Quick update, We're currently developing an automated version of our service, so that we can establish and build credit history on borrowers and issue instant loans based on our collateral + good credit history formula. The results of our first round of loans are as follows, two out of five borrowers made their repayments on schedule. Based on there being limited infrastructure to penalize these individuals we have decided that, to ensure the success of the project, it is imperative that we build automated infrastructure to govern our entire loan issuance and recovery activity. There will be an online portal, with a public credit rating database and the ability for one click loan approvals based on our metrics mentioned above. All of this will provide a solid foundation for Bantam to stand on and progress into the future. So keep an eye on the thread guys, as this is where all the updates will be posted We are still hard at work producing a more polished application of our concept, to everyone that is supporting us; steady progress is being made toward deliverance of a much more mathematically sound end product Updates to come The Bantam Team

Or the fact that if nothing get automatized op can simply stop answering while dumping everything How could people invest in something with so little value and absolutely 0 guarantee... Thank you for providing your perspective on The Bantam Project. I guess that old saying applies here, Bantam is a coin that you either love or hate - and everyone can't be a supporter. So it's refreshing to read up on the alternate views people have on The Bantam Initiative Thank you Looks like it actually rebounded a bit, whats going on dev is this project still going on ?
Hey there Yes indeed, Bantam (BNT) is a long term project that will be active for at least the next five years, and our overall strategy is to concentrate our activity within 24 month cycles. i.e during the next 24 months, we seek to have furnished over 50 BTC in loans to project participants. You can think of it like this; at any given time there are more than 1000 people that could benefit from a loan - and that's what we're here to do: to furnish loans to individuals that have a suitable amount of BNT to pledge as collateral. It's that simple. Our next round of loan dispersal begins on January 16th. So mark your calenders Also, we will be posting a very detailed map of what we have in store for 2016, so keep checking the thread as announcements will be made shortly. The Bantam Team

To those who have just caught on, The Bantam Project pledges to furnish a fixed amount of loans, every 24 months.
In order to back these loans, we are accepting Bantam (BNT) as collateral.
This opens the door to a new era of crypto currencies where the focus isn't on some newfangled technology, but on the actual use of digital currencies as a medium of commerce. BNT acts as a lubricant of digital commerce that will ultimately allow each and every person involved in digital currencies to prove their own, or disprove another's credit worthiness.
This will lead to increased financial activity as more and more people become able to take on loans in order to boost their own capital and expand commercial/personal productivity.
Not only can Bantam (BNT) be used as (1) a representation of value, but as (2) a representation of cryptographic collateral and as (3) it's blockchain is used as a database that tracks, proves and disproves the credit worthiness of it's users.
Also as a side note, we will be releasing project expansion updates in the coming days. As well as publicly logging the loan repayments of current project participants, so keep an eye on this thread for updates as they arise. We will also be posting a map and full description of what we have instore for the Bantam Project during the coming months

Ok, now the dev says that if I want to make early payment I need to pay extra 0.05 BTC, where was it mentioned before.
Dev, you send my collateral BNT first to my account, so that I can dump at a reasonable rate now. By the time you unload your premine, this coin will become worthless. If I don't get my BNT within the next 2hrs, you can say good bye to your 0.2 BTC.
We are willing to accept all repayments, but based on agreed upon terms. If you wish to break the agreement by repaying early, you will be charged an early repayment fee of 0.005 BTC The Bantam Project reserves it's right to absorb all BNT pledged as collateral into the Bantam Reserve should a borrower default. Which we are happy to do
