Some of the content may not be liked by many here, for example you suggest guarda wallet as a wallet even though it is not completely open source and there are better alternatives. Coinbase is a very safe place to purchase your cryptocurrency but we highly recommend that you store your cryptocurrency on your guarda wallet so only you will have access to the private keys. Because its an old saying in the crypto space "Not your keys, not your coins!". People have lost all their cryptocurrency in the past because they kept it all on a big exchange and one day the exchange was hacked and lost all users crypto. Learn from the past, keep your coins off of exchanges/websites. The website design needs more work but nice domain name. In your opinion, what is the best multi coin wallet option that I should promote to newbies? I just want to push them to get a wallet that only they control the private keys. I'm old school that way. Maybe Trust Wallet? Thanks for any info.

I want to thank you both for your comments.
I haven't worked on the website in some time but I'm just now getting to updating things.
Working on my sites used to be a full time hobby of mine but no so much these days.
I will keep all your comments in mind.

Faucets were a big thing back in the day. You can’t really say they were a waste of time because you could actually accumulate a decent amount of Bitcoin. So, OP, hats off to you for giving away Bitcoin as you’ve helped someone and the community, and that’s commendable. As for me, I’ll admit, I was too greedy back then. I ended up losing more than 20 Bitcoins to gambling. Some of the ones I managed to cash out, I didn’t hold onto for the long term, even though I always preached about holding. Sometimes, I couldn’t even follow my own advice and ended up betraying myself.
I feel for you. I have a similar story about gambling as well.

I remember your faucets from old days. You even helped me to launch my own faucet hosted on your domain. It's good to remember these old days. Maybe back in the day these 20 Bitcoins didn't looked something huge, but when we look at current value, it's over $2 million, what is crazy. People always were saying that faucets is waste of time, partially it's true. But when you look how many people were introduced to Bitcoin through faucets, it played huge role.
wow, great to see you again! I hope all is well with you and yours. To our future!
I know it sounds crazy but I did give away over 20 bitcoin to total strangers with my bitcoin faucet websites back in 2014 to 2017. I never got "rich" from crypto but I feel good knowing I had a part of growing the community in the early days. Maybe some of the people I helped had good fortune.
It still blows my mind to this day to think of it all.
This isn't really appropriate to post in Meta, so you should relocate it to maybe Bitcoin Discussion, Trading Discussion, or Reputation or I'm sure a moderator will do it for you. Most of us old timers have stories of the things we've done back in the day. I've given 10 BTC to this very forum. I've spend hundreds of Bitcoin on things like honey, statues, coins, shares of companies that disappeared, etc... This is inevitable when you use Bitcoin. The downside of a currency that appreciates against fiat. You might be right. Sorry to the mods for putting it in the wrong place. Please feel free to move it to the right area. Thanks for sharing your story. [moderator's note: consecutive posts merged]

the video in the OP is a news clip from 9/11/2001
It is exactly how Gaza acted on the morning of 9/11/2001.
I smile with every building that comes down in Gaza.

Yes they are dying (except for the biggest one) and I had fun being a kind of big part in the faucet world back in the day. I gave away about 20 bitcoin to total strangers on my many websites over the years. I even had a part in the creation of faucethub because the owner read an ebook I wrote about how to run your own faucet website, he then went on to create faucethub. I never "made it rich" but I had a blast being part of history.

I really feel this is close to the bottom for this cycle. Stock up and save for the future new ATH's! Only buy what you can afford to sit on for a year or more... this way you wont feel the need to sell early. This Is NOT A Drill!

Hello everyone. It's been a long crazy ride since I first got involved with Bitcoin. I remember the exact day (June 4th 2014) and the value of 1 Bitcoin was about $641 and the value was on a downward slope for the next year. I bought a few crypto related domain names and started working to help grow this community. I got involved with the "Bitcoin faucet" website scripts and by accident I had a small part in the largest faucet payment network on the internet called "Faucethub" because the creator had found my free ebook called "the ultimate guide to running your own bitcoin faucet" and it spiked his interests so much so that he created the single best hub for faucet sites.
I never learned his real name but he was called Mexicantarget and damn did he have some coding skills.
I ran my own faucets on my websites and I gave away about 15 bitcoin to total strangers (and some bots I bet) over the years and I never "got rich" from crypto. I missed out on a hand full of chances to make millions in profits but it never worked out for me. I'm grateful for what I did make and happy to know I had a part in growing the future of world finance. I just wish I had held on to just one coin because at this point, I will never see a whole coin again in my life. It's my life's only regret.
It just blows my mind to think back at all the bitcoin I gave away. I used to run "Flash bitcoin giveaways" on twitter and gave 0.01 btc to random retweeters and I did it all the time. Every time I made nice commissions from the past month, I would share with the world. Those were the days.
