I lowered the gpu clocks to 800 and changed the intensity from d to 8. Grin

The terminal that it's running in has become unresponsive and there was this alert just before the terminal problem:

Checking the pool hashing is at 0MH/s crap.

OK, all is installed and now I want to run cgminer but there are lots of tweaking that can be done. What settings should I begin with to run it for a couple of days to see how well it is working? I'm using this machine to surf as well, what intensity would be good? What is the safe high end target for overclocking while using this pc? Is 70C a good target maximum? Is it better to use gpu-fan at a set speed versus using auto-fan? It could be an issue at the motherboard slot or at the riser itself. If you have other risers try those.

Wind. All the cost is upfront and the longer it runs the cheaper it gets. Build yourself a nice 2kw unit with vertical helix blades and you only need a 40' tower.
