4  Economy / Goods / [SOLD] $9.93 Amazon Gift Card Code for 1.4 BTC on: June 13, 2012, 10:08:27 PM
Clearing out my prepaid debit card balance hence the odd amount, was thinking 1.4 BTC would be a fair amount for the code.

Edit: Obviously since i'm new with the low post count I will send first as long as I feel comfortable with who ever wants the code.

Sold

A lot of people will not sell Bitcoins via Paypal due to the possibility of the transaction being reversed, I have seen a couple of people sell coins if the Paypal payment was a gift I haven't looked into it much beyond that. Another way to buy Bitcoins off of people would be to sell gift card codes for Amazon or some other online store I have used a prepiad debit gift card to buy codes from Amazon without a problem.
6  Economy / Goods / Re: Anonymous Instant Reloadable VISA card on: June 09, 2012, 02:21:43 AM
I question the anonymity aspect of the reloadable cards aside from the possibility of the OP knowing the number and CVV. I tried a reloadable Visa but to use it I needed to give Greendot my social security number and would have had to fax proof of residence (or something along those lines) i.e. bank statement, electric bill etc. So that wasn't what I would consider anonymous they ended up sending me a check for the balance I had loaded on the card.

I have since used a few non reloadable gift debit cards from AMEX and Visa without problems, only thing you need to tie to those cards is a zip code so that's not bad IMO.

I'm in it because I like the idea of an online currency with features like the possibility of anonymity and the decentralisation aspect.  I really hope it does well in the future, so far so good.

Hello i'm Cookie_Monster  Grin I love the idea of Bitcoins and hope to be able to do business using them, I have followed btc for a while and used a few coins here and there when it was an option. Now that btc seems to be stabilising at around $5 I want to get into using BTC even more.
