hello, I am trying to get into buying and selling bitcoins.  Are there some fraud proof ways of using a credit/debit card to buy bitcoins? for example, using my card to buy a gift card or some other kind of good online and selling that to someone? what are some of the most commonly traded goods?

or is there an exchange i can use verified paypal and the like to buy coins?

thanks in advance!

"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

A lot of people will not sell Bitcoins via Paypal due to the possibility of the transaction being reversed, I have seen a couple of people sell coins if the Paypal payment was a gift I haven't looked into it much beyond that. Another way to buy Bitcoins off of people would be to sell gift card codes for Amazon or some other online store I have used a prepiad debit gift card to buy codes from Amazon without a problem.

There are very few options with PayPal as payment because PayPal expressly prohibits a merchant to use PayPal for the sale of Bitcoins.  Additionally, because the payment can be charged back easily, merchants that do have some angle must charge a higher fee to do so.

With VirWoX you can buy SLL using PayPal, then trade SLL for BTC:

Physical Bitcoin, paid for with credit card:
