An announcement regarding BTCD Swap rate and bonuses
There has been a lot of discussions about the BTCD swap rate, and whatever the 0.00532 BTC/BTCD rate is enough.
As the community was waiting for the coming announcement, the BTCD price had already climbed near this price. Once the announcement went live, the price had already reached its 'ceiling'. What made things look even worse was the ICO bonus system for BTC investors. Those bonuses would further lower the KMD share BTCD investors would get in the swap. In other words, some people felt that BTC investors have a significant edge, because they have the bonus system and the BTCD holders feel like they didn't get one.
To solve this, the allocation of BTCD in the ICO will be saved from dillution by applying the average bonus the BTC investors got to the swap rate.
Example: Lets say 10000 BTC are collected and 1000 BTC in early investor bonus was taken. That means the average bonus is 10%. This brings the BTCD swap rate to 0,005852.

What does BTCD has to do with ICO?
If someone who does not have any BTCD and wishes to buy KMD during ICO, will he have to buy BTCD and swap it for KMD?
When we take into account the bonuses during ICO, we get:
Oct. 15 - 25% bonus = 0.00425 BTC/BTCD
Oct. 16-22 - 20% bonus = 0.00443 BTC/BTCD
Oct. 23-29 - 15% bonus = 0.00462 BTC/BTCD
Oct. 30-Nov 5 - 10% bonus = 0.00483 BTC/BTCD
Nov 6-12 - 5% bonus = 0.00506 BTC/BTCD
Nov 13-20 - 0% bonus = 0.00532 BTC/BTCD

I have read the whole fucking thread and i'm still confused what's going on. First, i like James. I have had personal contact with him and i did some stuff for the Supernet network and he seems to be an honest guy full of ideas and devoted to build something.
But i don't know about this. The idea is perfect, but i can fully understand that there are people who are shouting that he didn't finished one of his projects. Maybe he did, i don't know really. I have a lot of BTCD's and maybe i'm gonna dump them or maybe i'm gonna switch them....i don't know. Personally i would like to see something real....and that was not an attack to James, but to all devs out there. ICO this, ICO that, pump here, dump there. ETH completely failing after a promising start (don't get me wrong, i did not invest in it).
The whole crypto currency world is too shady now a days. Hopefully James or any other dev can show us some real thing like Satoshi did in 2009.
throughout the thread it was hinted at that there would be a working something before the start of ICO. don't know what post though - it was the original poster who said it somewhere. that would be ideal - the project would probably get a lot more funds raised if something noob friendly was usable before ICO. |

BTCD exchange rate = 0.00354716 * 1.5 = 0.00532074 BTC/BTCD

To explain this chart a little. The BTC price here refers to the "max" price you paid for a BTCD coin to get the "max" bonus in relation to BTC investors (25 first day bonus).
You would have to buy under these prices to make sure you are better off swapping than investing with BTC.
Can you express this information in terms of dollar value? And at what dollar price does it make sense to buy btcd as it will be a better deal then investing btc into the ico? it seems like every time you WTB, a big sell order goes up on bittrex the order I was referring to was there well before his post, and just to be sure: it ain't me selling those 6k BTCD  that order is no more than 24-36 hours old...not that much older than the post. just my observation |

SuperNET will be getting a modest stake in Waves. Considering the amount that it will raise, I doubt the share will be in the "large" percentage range.

The big question James is that will WAVE be part of the SN infrastructure , a partner friend, what will be the relationship between SN and WAVE? Wow, 100 btc buy order at 0.0025 for btcd on bittrex
Damn, there is a lot of BTC on the buy side of bittrex and poloniex orderbooks. I don't think anyone is going to sell into that. If 100 btc whale becomes impatient and buys up orderbook, then price will go up to 0.01+ Time tells the truth. I wouldn't be surprised if those buy walls disappear soon. I saw these many times on many coins. As expected. The buy wall disappeared like magic!  it was dumped into. there was about 21k BTCD of volume on bittrex |

What is project iguana. I can't keep track of all 777's projects. Is there an elevator pitch description somewhere?

What is the hidden .bitcoindark folder? The only one that appears when I ctrl+h is .git. Looking through .git, there isn't a wallet.dat file here. I've started the wallet and no default wallet.dat appeared.
I added the BitcoinDark.conf to .git. Currently DLing the blockchain
Edit: Answered in slack. It's in the ~/.BitcoinDark folder for linux

so i have 2700 nxt sins 2 month now
forging is enable but forging balance = 0 so how long to get reward ?
where can we see details about forging because i can't find that
you need a substantially greater amount of NXT to forge successfully. you COULD forge a block, but it's very unlikely. the algo details are somewhere on the nxtforum if you're curious |

I would be surprised if we saw below 300 for a few months. I'm expecting the price to float around 325 and then, hopefully, visit the moon from there.
