1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam attempt from campsis on: July 18, 2014, 10:30:58 AM
James you tard I would given you one of my lasers when you were here!!! i'll sms you later when i get home..

conb123.. what were you buying ? a laser ? Looking through feedback it's from 2 fake accounts and the way he posts in the threads it sounds as if he is doing a lot of business..  You have to really pay attention and you'd notice he talks to him self about sending items and the tracking Sad

No I was just selling my .5 BTC I'd been holding on to for a while for some money, I'm moving home soon and need as much cash as I can get. Yeah I wish I'd paid more attention I'd just given blood that day so I'm gonna blame my lack of vigilance on that I really could kick myself

I've lost .5 BTC to this guy, I sent it on the 15th and still haven't received my money through UK bank transfer and no contact from him. I really could kick myself for going first but I saw his post history and activity and thought I could trust him but turns out he's a dirty scammer :/

5  Economy / Scam Accusations / CAMPSIS IS A SCAMMER on: July 18, 2014, 09:29:28 AM
I just lost .5 BTC to a trader who had a posting history which made him seem trustworthy. I'm assuming his account has been taken over by somebody else but do not trade with him. I can't get my BTC back but I can prevent others from falling into the same trap.

Here is his profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=316732
6  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling .5 BTC Paypal or bank transfer on: July 15, 2014, 12:44:59 PM
If you want to sell 0.5 BTC with paypal, becareful only sell to very trusted people on forum or you will be easily going to scam.
Also don't forget to use escrow.

Yeah good point, I've changed the post a little, what do you mean escrow sorry?

Use middlemen between you and buyer. Here is the list of trusted escrow service in this forum.

£200 will consider other payment (paypal if trusted buyer) methods if they work for me PM or post. I realise I'm a newbie member and as such there is an understandable lack of trust so here's my localbitcoin and bitbargain accounts which I hope will help to verify my authenticity.
