3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cannacoin (CCN) | PoW->PoSV | No premine | No IPO on: August 31, 2016, 11:12:15 PM
Are there any plans to get Cannacoin accepted at a cannabis club somewhere?  I thought I heard something like that a while ago, but details seem scant.
4  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BM1384 Pod Miner plus trade-in/recycling - an interest and feasibility poll on: April 30, 2016, 05:33:59 AM
I can put together about 8 more of these; if people actually want them maybe I'll do something about it.

Tell you what, this has actually been a pretty good week for prototypes. But the rest of that story will have to wait for another day.

Would love to get one (or more) of these. I'm nearly certain people definitely actually want these

Is 900ma enough for 15GH?

So just get a decent USB 3.0 powered hub?

Should work with an original Pi B right?

I'm pretty sure that all RasPi models do not play well with USB3 hubs.  I do know that the Cubieboards (v1, v2, and v3/'truck) do work with USB3 hubs, however.  ymmv.

Greetings - I'm in the market for USB stick miners - pretty much any flavor of them, if the price is right.  Regards! -J5
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: for knc titan experts! on: November 17, 2015, 05:35:03 PM
Hello guys and sorry if i the post isn't in the right place but this is my first post.I have a problem with my first batch knc titan who don't want to work anymore.symptoms: nothing on lcd screen,no more big white led flashing and no three green leds on the controller (only one instead).on the web interface,no cube detected,no temperature,no dcdc avg temp and no frequency.I have tried so many times the reset factory without success and all the firmware. Please could you help me!Or if you have any titan controller for sale please send me a message.

I had this exact same problem, and it was only solved by replacing the KnC controller card (I actually used the controller card from an old Jupiter - which only has 4 ports, instead of the 6 on the Titan controller - just remove the Jup's beaglebone, and swap w/the RasPi & daughterboard from the Titan controller).  ymmv, good luck!    Keith from KnC, informed me that the Titan controller card is compatible with both the Jupiter and Saturn controller cards.

12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] B&C Exchange - A decentralized exchange paying BTC dividends on: July 18, 2015, 11:57:23 PM
Everyone who has paid for BlockShares has been sent a message requesting BlockShare addresses to send their BKS to. So, if anyone has purchased BKS and has not received a message they should contact us and provide BKS addresses.

As long as you send BKS addresses by July 19, you will receive your BKS on July 19.

Hi - i never received any message to ask where my paid for (and confirmed) BKS should be deposited to, i just replied to my confirmation email with the address, will that suffice?  I also PM'd you the details - thanks for your help & attention!
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: The 94% Con by Jon Montroll on: April 22, 2015, 07:15:17 PM
I wonder if it was worth it to him?  Stealing untold amounts of BTC, only to live a life of never again knowing true peace, always having to look over one's shoulder, and forever having that thought in the back of your mind, "is today the day I get found?"  Even if he's living high on the hog in Thailand or somewhere, he has incurred some serious karmic debt.

Don't be like Jon E. Montrol.
14  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: April 22, 2015, 06:59:07 PM

It smells like the strategy Ukyo was pursuing back when BitFunder went belly-up. He also promised to pay back the coins in subsequent 'waves' but I think nothing came after wave 1, which was... 10% or so!? Let's see how this goes.

I'm pretty sure it was 6%.  Ukyo / Bitfunder / Weexhcange = mega-fails

Last week, KnC tweeted (https://twitter.com/kncminer/status/575024006312689664) that they are in the process of updating their web presence - implying that the forum will return.

We're in the process of updating our web presence, if you have a question pls contact r support dep. via kncminer.com

Then again, it seems folly to believe what they tell us.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Paycoin on: December 25, 2014, 01:37:23 AM
Paycoin is going to be one of the biggest cryptocurencies ever-even better than bitcoin.

Can anyone sum up Paycoin's innovations?  I've yet to see any; tho, i am often the last to know, and am awful daft.

How long before coins are considered "Mature" by the -Qt client?

I'm having trouble getting it to stake, either it says my coins aren't mature, or the wallet is locked, even when it's been unlocked for staking - can you provide the steps necessary to successfully stake, what specifically is required, and time expected for each step?  Thanks!
