All of the marijuana coins seem to be going up in price lately. We must have hit the bottom. I haven't heard anyone talking about them in a long time.

All of the marijuana coins seem to be going up in price lately. We must have hit the bottom. I haven't heard anyone talking about them in a long time.

I think the decrease in price was partially due to bitcoin doubling in price as most altcoins took a hit. The USD value for CannaCoin seems to hang around .01 - .015 USD per coin. This might be a good buying opportunity for all marijuana coins as California (the biggest state economy in the US) will be legalizing marijuana for recreational use. yay

We've talked with Bittrex and they will not delist. They are looking for more consistent daily volume. We are also looking into getting CannaCoin listed on Bleutrade and Cryptopia

A quick update for everybody. The new website should be up around the first week in August. A bounty program is currently being worked on for community members to earn CannaCoins for various projects. Also, 420cointalk.com will be launched this fall.

420cointalk.com will be a place where marijuana enthused investors, miners, developers, programmers, and community members can share and collaborate with each other. We will be attending the Crypto Cannabis Conference in Denver, Colorado this fall. Information on the conference can be found here: https://news.bitcoin.com/denver-2nd-crypto-cannabis-conference/ We are definitely interested in getting CannaCoin accepted at cannabis clubs and believe that attending conferences, such as the Crypto Cannabis Conference, is a step in the right direction. I personally believe that as the federal government continues to reform cannabis laws, clubs will be more likely inclined to list digital currencies such as Bitcoin or CannaCoin.

Also, we will be releasing monthly newsletters to keep the community informed on the project. It will be the central hub for all CannaCoin updates, news, announcements, and events. If you have anything you'd like added on the newsletter just shoot me a PM on here : ) The newsletter will be released on the 1st of each month.

We have been in talks with Bittrex and are trying to keep CannaCoin listed on their exchange. They have "yellow banners" on decent number of coins, but not all are going to be delisted. The yellow banners are coming down today, actually. In regards to using Bittrex there has been decent amount of daily volume for the past few months and the trading seems pretty active as well. I believe the yellow banners are 'fair warning' to smaller communities that changes are coming to bittrex soon, including an increase in minimum daily volume required to be listed.

We were just listed on Cryptopia a few days ago and are actively pursuing other exchanges as well to offer CannaCoin. CCN will always have to place to trade.
