Also, I would suggest locking this thread and creating a new one for the FaucetInABox script alone. Having this open could cause confusion, what with a large majority of previous information being about the FaucetBOX service its self.

Good idea.

We'll disable FaucetBOX.com completely around 18.00 UTC today.

Edit:

To clarify: on 18.00 UTC all functions on FaucetBOX.com website will be disabled. After that we'll perform one last batch of withdrawal transactions.

Edit2:

These are transactions that were made after closing:

I noticed that some faucet owners didn't withdrawed their coins from Faucetbox until now. And some have pretty big ballances on their faucets. I'm interested what will happen to these coins after 16th January. Will it be lost forever?

Almost all faucet owners withdrawn their coins. Don't trust values shown on faucet sites. API doesn't work so they're not updated anymore.

However yes, all coins that aren't withdrawn in time will be lost, as we'll destroy all data we have to avoid potential leaks later.

Hi Kazuldur! I have the same situation here - 500 addresses with ~0.04 btc total. It's a big money for my country. Please help to transfer all to one address.
I can sign a message on every address to prove that I own them all. Tell me what message should i sign and I will send you PM with addresses and signatures. (Or i can sign a message like "Faucetbox is the best!".)  Please be kind and help me, thanks to you in advance!

PM a link to a file (pastebin.com will be fine) containing all addresses and signatures for this message:

Code:
Please transfer all coins from this address to [enter destination address] on FaucetBOX.com.

It should be in an easily parsable format. Preferably JSON, but even something like:

Code:
address1
signature1
address2
signature2

will be enough. Don't forget to send me the exact message you've signed (I don't know your destination address yet).

Your post says that some modifications are needed to Faucet in a BOX to use it with Faucethub, ePay or Faucetsystem. That's not true, they're supported out of the box without any modifications.

Hey Kazuldur i am just wondering about the admin panel for faucetinabox When adding a new table  in the admin panel
what would i have to do? i already done the title part that was easy but how can i add a other table?

What do you mean by "table"?

Like you know how you got the admin settings right how can i add a other setting in the admin panel  like referrals one?

Edit $admin_template variable in script/admin_templates.php. Just copy-paste from some other tab and customize it. Then you have to handle fetching data for this in admin.php file.

I can't give anything more specific, as it would depend on what exactly you want to do.

Explain me, how to do that, and i do. But may be, xapo close 500 addresses and i have now about 100... but at faucetbox its still 4000 satoshi

It depends on your wallet. I don't know Xapo, so if you're using it you have to contact Xapo support and ask them how to do that (if that's even possible).

What address did you deposit to?

Check now, it should be credited to you account. Sorry for delay!
9  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: January 02, 2017, 08:09:15 PM

What address did you deposit to?

I have about 4k satoshi on 600+ adresses, what i can do??  Huh Huh Huh  Angry Angry Angry

600+ addresses?! How's that possible?
I made it in xapo.
========
So, admin, can u transfer all funds from addresses to one??? I can send you pm. It's big money for me. about 0.024 btc

But why did you use 600+ addresses on faucets instead of just one?
I'll need a proof that you own these addresses, which means that you would have to sign a message with private key of each address. Are you able to do that?

11  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is there any php code that can detect vpn/proxy on: December 30, 2016, 09:15:03 PM
If the whole internet connection is passing through the proxy/vpn/tunnel then not a chance, also tor uses a protocol that you can't tell if it's a tor relay or not.

Actually testing if connection is from Tor is trivial, as Tor advertises list of all exit nodes.

Detecting proxies/vpns/tunnels is of course impossible to do 100% accurately, but you can try to build blacklists of known services (and that's what nastyhosts does), greatly reducing problem.

Why simply not use faucetbox's script? It's the most secure faucet script out there.

I have a faucetbox's script...What is to update to use it with faucethub?

Recent versions of faucetbox script support FaucetHUB.io out of the box. Just switch the service in admin panel.

You can use nastyhosts.com. It's like getipintel but with much higher limits.

Disclaimer: I've worked for company that's running NastyHosts.
14  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [EDU] What is ACL? What does it do? Should i use it?[Faucet owners,General Info] on: December 28, 2016, 11:57:39 PM
My faucet site using CloudFlare  what should I do with your ACL exactly? BTW my origin website IP is IPv6.

 Thank you in advance

CloudFlare doesn't matter for ACL. CloudFlare is used when someone is visiting your faucet, but it's not used when your faucet is making a request to ePay.info.

Hello @mexicantarget i have a problem with my timer, seems like everyone appears to have the ip of my vps so if i have 1 hr timer only the first person can claim and everyone seems to have the same ip so they need to wait, i checked the dns and everything seems ok, any ideas?
Hello,

are you talking about faucetbox's script?

Quote
Yes right about FaucetBox script
Can you try removing nastyhosts for a minute and see if it still happens?

Nastyhosts have nothing to do with it, there's some reverse proxy between users and Lindernman's faucet.

Lindernman, you've said it's a VPS. How did you set it up? Did you set it up yourself? Does "nginx" or "reverse proxy" tell you anything?
16  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: December 20, 2016, 10:38:46 PM
thank you
but i do not understand this line:
3. withdraw these coins to address that's below the threshold
when i withdraw these coins to address that's below the threshold it sent coins direct to blockchain network not faucetbox
it means this address give satoshies
https://blockchain.info/address/1B1tNj9UkLMFDdR64J9SNwPgiucpgJJyQL
instead of this :
https://faucetbox.com/en/check/1B1tNj9UkLMFDdR64J9SNwPgiucpgJJyQL

regards

No, it sends coins to faucetbox address, marked as "Withdrawal".

"We disabled creating new accounts. Please read our announcement to find out why."

Huh, I forgot about that. But in this question abrr already has an account.

But really. Fees when spending these coins will cost you more then they're worth. It's actually a net-negative for your wallet.
17  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetBOX.com Discussion on: December 20, 2016, 03:46:50 PM
thanks but you did not pay attention
"how i can reached the payout threshold before 16 January 2017 when you closed api"
i want complete my faucet box amount witch is used to earn from faucet it has now below minimum threshold

I did pay attention. I answered this question: "i need transfer some satoshi from my own faucet to my faucetbox for reached the payout threshold how i can do that ?".

If you have an address on FaucetBOX.com that's below the threshold and you really, really want to get coins accumulated on it, you have to:

1. create owner account on FaucetBOX.com
2. deposit some coins to owner account (must be more than the minimum deposit limit)
3. withdraw these coins to address that's below the threshold
4. now the address is above threshold and you will receive these coins

However that will likely cost you more than you have accumulated due to network fees. And that's why you can't withdraw coins below the threshold: it costs more than they're worth to transfer them. Not only for us to transfer them to you, but also for you to spend them after that.

Just treat these coins as lost.

19  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Super Micro wallet service survived the historical DDOS Attack on: December 19, 2016, 10:40:33 PM
I'm not sure what proof you guys would like to see. There would be no logs or "zombie sessions" (what...?) if it's a simple volumetric attack. And it's hard to estimate attack size without help of ISP. 5TB over 5 hours is about 2Gbps, FaucetBOX.com was hit with DDoSes of 1-10 Gbps, it sounds plausible.

That said I have no idea what "hardware and software firewalls" was ePay.info talking about. Firewalls aren't really helpful with DDoSes. And "Cloudflare can't be enough always, they can get past it, having dedicated firewall is necessary" doesn't make sense either. To get past CloudFlare either the attack must be BIG (and 10 Gbps is pretty average, not BIG). They probably screwed up their domain configuration. For example epay.info domain is protected by CloudFlare, but it's MX domain isn't... If there was a DDoS in the first place of course. But personally I don't see anything that would suggest there wasn't one.
20  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetHub Bitcoin Faucet Script - Open your own faucet on: December 19, 2016, 06:43:16 PM
To the point two, I'll find all possible leaks and fix it.

I'm not saying there are any leaks Smiley. Just that the way you've wrote it makes it very, very easy to create a leak.

To the point four, it is true that it has a limit and it was mentioned earlier. I couldn't find another API that suits it.

So if you know it's not really useful, why did you add it and advertise it as "Bot shield"?

Btw there's always http://nastyhosts.com/ Smiley (disclaimer: I'm still working for a company that runs nastyhosts)
