1  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Funds sent to previous address on: September 20, 2018, 05:20:17 PM
Go to the console and type

Code:
ismine(address)
With address being the address you previoulsy used, and the console returns true then you have your coins and they are safe.

You should really already have done that though.
How can people have good discussions on the community if it takes adding sanctions to members in order to give them the kick they need to start learning (it should be due to enthusiasm of being here that you want to post good quality stuff).

1+8+/ 9.183-848x 93648828837489283 x 3.1415926358979323846246.

Your things is wrong with "1+8+/" thing...

You can use BEDMAS technique to solve this kind of calculations...

Maybe it is supposed to be a plus-minus symbol (+/- or
+
-
)

EDIT: It is ±

Don't think you can do +/ and is it not BIDMAS.

So, anyone who likes computer science, tends to like Bitcoin.
So, we need to get women to like computer science before we can get them to like and use Bitcoin.

Look at the Bitcoin network. Look at the clients. Then look at the source code. So many ways to manipulate the software with bugs that can be undetected from teh Bitcoin Network for intelligent bitcoin network programmers.

To save us wading through the source code in its entirety, could you link to the relevant bug reports?

No! I will not share my industry secrets in the failures of Bitcoin! As far as I know so far, it hasn't been documented... I may be wrong though!

Truth? Slim chance? Based on what? How did you declare these as facts?

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Not got my coins. on: December 07, 2015, 05:00:19 PM
yes you could use a on line wallet coin i dont advise coin base but maybe a blockchain one

Why not coinbase? I hear that phone wallets seem better to privately own bitcoin. Blockchain.info or Coinbase.com are good, you can purchase bitcoins directly from Coinbase too and they will instantly apear in your wallet!
9  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie needs a wallet on: December 07, 2015, 04:55:19 PM
Hello everyone, I am new to this and having been spending most of the weekend trying to understand how everything works. I think I am getting there but just wandered whether anyone could suggest the best option I could use for a wallet. Only proviso is that I don’t want it to show on my computer and so not a desktop wallet or one for my mobile phone. So I guess I am asking what the best web based wallet is? Any suggestions?

coinbase.com seems the best so far! I have been using it for a few months, pretty good. I hear that some people ue blockchain.info but I think that one is a bit slower than coinbase but it gives you more options.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: 10 BTC. Will I be a millionaire by 2030? on: December 07, 2015, 04:53:00 PM
if with just 10BTC can make you become a millionaire , what about people who own 1000BTC? i think they'll be a quillionaire  Grin

Terrible mathematical skills!

No neither will probably be true, we have to face the truth that Bitcoin has a slim chance of surviving. So far... Bitcoin has survived beyond odds so it may live on!
11  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What is a good setup with an investment of $5000 - cheap electricity- on: December 06, 2015, 10:46:46 PM
Me too need help. I'm brand new in mining.

 Huh
I'm buyng a machine with 50TH/s 2200W complete and with OS to miner.
Someone can tell me is it so good to start?
My eletric energy has cost of €0,15 per kW/h.
The price of machine is $7.000, How many times I recover my investment?

Regards,

Tony

Don't buy it. It will be a scam! For that price, watts and GH/s.
What site did you find it on?
I know miningslab had a similar product to that, and they are a scam. 50TH is just under half of antpool's THs, which makes up around 1/6 of all mining evenue with Bitcoins!

"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"

If it was, 5THs for that price then it would seem more legit but overpriced.

13  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [TUTORIAL] Stop Bots + Proxies From Using Your Faucet on: November 30, 2015, 04:37:03 PM
Optional

I have google analytics on my faucet and I realized that, almost all the traffic was coming from Russia or China.... So I found out about this site called http://www.blockacountry.com, it allows you to block whole countries from accessing your website. This route is optional, but super effective. The only downside is it affects real people from accessing your faucet.

THAT IS KNOW AS DISCIMINATION!
Don't use that, you will face legal issues!
For stopping people from earning as you are blocking an entier countrie's IPs from accessing a site and free money (if it is a faucet)!
14  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S7 Beeper Disable on: November 29, 2015, 09:10:50 PM
I'm using an S7 for home mining. Today (at 3am) I noticed that the S7 will beep if there is no internet connection.

My issue: if my internet goes down there's nothing I can do, I'd prefer the S7 to just STFU and start mining once an internet connection is available again.

Is there any way to fully disable the S7 beeper?

If the speaker is on the outside, youmay be able to remove the cable to it. This shouldn't void the warrenty but it would be best to check your documents first. It may be useful to contact the Bitmain support to see if they can offer any information on this matter!

If i am not mistaken here, you are selling google cloud stuffs, i am interested in google cloud rdps from any country let me know how fast this can be done and the warranty you can offer on it.

If you didn't read the PM. I am creating a service to make bulk accounts that are usually free for users, if this is not want then sorry. I don't know what RDPs is but if it is a FREE service then I can set it up for you on your computer though I would need to research further into it (this will take up to a week)! Please direct me to the webpage for RDPs first.
RDP, is a remote desktop protocol and it can be found on window vps. It is just like a computer desktop and it is free on google cloud.
I hope this little information is helpful.

Please could you provide me with the web address/URL of the service?
