1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I'm now accumulating 15 altcoins, what do you think? on: April 02, 2019, 02:26:16 PM
Can't go wrong with Monero, if I want to throw in my opinion here, but honestly don't know how the rest will pan out. Diversification in alts now seems like a good idea, especially when most of them are around 10% of what they used to be. If you believe the bulls will eventually bring back ATH then I guess you'll be a made man.

Monero is a good anonymous coin. The other coins being useful are bitcoin cash, eth etc.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought on all time high on: June 28, 2018, 11:52:56 AM
But this time it is best for us to buy altcoin, perhaps the market will never drop to such a low, this is the opportunity for us to buy in, take the opportunity to miss.

That is a good suggestion. I think we shall buy some good coins like the ETH, ETC or BCH.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought on all time high on: April 13, 2018, 02:59:07 PM
Well I don't like stop-loss because I saw when bitcoin was close 10 000 and trade a little more and a little less than 10 000 , so I can imagine what happened with stop-losses at 10 000$ . Really important to know what you are buying? If it's possible spend a lot of time to research . It's ok about prices it's never happen that someone can trade with best prices . Sometimes you win , sometimes not, it's part of life . Just be patience and I hope that you had plane before go to the crypto

Stop loss could be dangerous when there is a big upward action then go down again, like happed a few times this year.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 2k in 2 months? on: April 03, 2018, 06:10:26 PM
The current price these days is down for ethereum market so it is very possible that price may increase. But not in nearing two months, so more likely ethereum can achieve 2k this year.

Just be patient. The price will be $2k in 2-3 years.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the cryptocurrency prices went down suddenly on: March 16, 2018, 05:57:52 PM
The news from US government has a negative impact on the market. It is unclear what form acquire the trial with the status of сrypt and ICO in the economy.

I heard the G20 could be negative to digital coins.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 2.7c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Windows) on: March 04, 2018, 03:27:02 PM
i'm getting error FATAL ERROR: debugger detected

Gigabyte rx570

-amd option key doesn't help

I have the same problem when I use driver 16.3.2. After I upgrade to 16.9.2, it is working. No such warning.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought on all time high on: February 20, 2018, 07:12:38 AM
I hate my life so much right now xD

Who else bought on ATH?  Huh

As I can see you have trust in your alts which is important. All you have to do now is just hold and if your project is as good as you think it is, it would eventually go higher than your buy price. Market is recovering and I think we can start seeing some major movement starting first week of March.

If the coin is good, then just hold it.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I bought on all time high on: February 07, 2018, 06:32:05 PM
Don't worry be happy! With patience, your coins will see new all time highs. Everything was down recently, and looks to be rebounding now.

It depends on the coin. If it has good community support, like the Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash or Ethereum, then the price will rise eventually.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash/BTG GPU Miner v12.6 (Windows/Linux) on: January 28, 2018, 12:15:53 PM
Claymore's ZCash/BTG GPU Miner v12.6 gives only 28 H/s on RX550 under Windows 7. Is that OK? Also it designates card as "gfx804" instead of "Lexa" which is the name of the chip.

As others have stated, the RX550 is not very good graphics card for mining. However, it should be capable of much more than 28 h/s. My guess is that Claymore did not code in support for the "Lexa" chip in version 12.6. You may have to try another miner if he doesn't plan to add support for it in his future releases. Also, just to make sure nothing is wrong on your end, please verify that you have the correct drivers installed. You can refer to the first post of this thread for a list of the best drivers to use.

I think so. But the RX 550 is widely available. Other cards are very scarce.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: November 24, 2017, 01:07:06 PM
Eth has faster/cheaper transactions, it is used for +90% of ICO, has a very strong team and, at the moment, there are no fractures at his internal.

Do you think the price will rise again?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1070 ti on: November 10, 2017, 04:44:24 PM
Ya I agree. I thought the goal was to undercut Vega 56.

NVIDIA can also optimise the profits/yields as the 1070 Ti are basically 1080 chips with one faulty SM unit (19 vs. 20).

1070Ti memory has lower latency.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: October 26, 2017, 12:34:53 PM
For as long as Ethereum is on it's seat as one of the top alt coins then I would stick with it. Ethereum still more stable than Bitcoin hard forks.
Yes this proved it is the next replacement of Bitcoins. it is very strong coin digital market don't sell this coin hold it for a long time you can earn good profit in future.

They are for different purpose. So it is better to live separately.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1070 ti on: October 21, 2017, 05:43:54 PM
I read some article mentioned that 1070ti about the same as 1080 in terms of price and performance.
I think so too. But for mining the key difference consists in the type of memory, in 1070 GDDR5 memory and in 1080 GDDR5X. This X is bad for the Eth mining.

I think the 1070Ti will be best for ETH mining.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: October 03, 2017, 05:37:38 PM
Ethereum is the best strong coin of all cryptocurrency
Great future
Huge contracts
And about Technical analysis view
First target is 500$
Second target is 700$
And it will hit targets soon
With all my best wishes
Good luck

I think $700 could be reached some time next year.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: September 15, 2017, 08:53:36 AM
Ethereum prices have been rising significantly. You can check the current live price right here Ethereum (ETH) price, charts, market cap, and other metrics. Does this mean the price will rise or fall? Nobody knows for sure, that’s the truth. Ethereum has a lot of potential applications, a great technolgoy and solid team, so it’s possible that prices will rise a lot more from where they are.

I saw the ETH price has dropped a lot recently. I hope it will resume rising soon.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining using GTX 1070 on: September 06, 2017, 08:00:27 AM

3) Don't skimp on the power supply, a 1000 is marginal AT BEST for 6 of those 1070 models (I have a few of those specific cards, good cards but their TDP is 180 watts).
I'd STRONGLY recommend going to AT LEAST a Seasonic X-1250 or EVGA G2 1300 and even THOSE are going to limit how hard you can push the GPUs.
You might want to STRONGLY consider going to a 2 power supply option.

5) On ETH with those cards, probably around 180-185 IF you have enough power to feed them.
If you have to turn them down far enough to SURVIVE on a 1000, more like 160.

I have 12 1070 cards (two 6 card systems) running 100% stable with a 100 watt power limit on each card and am getting 183 MH/sec per six on ETH and 2500 Sol/sec on ZEC.

I agree a good power supply is a must particularly get one platinum rated so it is more efficient but I think most people with 1070's have them set at 110 watts or less which with 6 cards is only 660 watts plus whatever the rest of the system takes. I use Corsair 1200 watt power supplies and no issues.

From my testing upping the power over 100 watts gives very little gain in hash rate. I certainly wouldn't want to go from 100 watts to 180 to gain 2 MH/sec.

I agree with that. I run the cards when they are most efficient and last long.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: August 20, 2017, 09:09:43 AM
I do not care about external issues. Will be a better and faster Ethereum, will be useful in the future and it's a good coin

That is right. We hope the Ethereum developer will do their job properly.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: August 12, 2017, 05:14:10 PM
in my perspective it is not right to say LITECOIN is "dead" otherwise we can say it is sinking and going to be lower in value... but as of now there are still many miners of litecoin. i dont think about the dev if there are still update to it...

I think the price difference between the bitcoin and litecoin will be more in the future.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: July 23, 2017, 07:19:24 AM
Litecoin is officially dead, why you may ask?

What Litecoin used to offer:

ASIC Resistance
GPU Resistance
2.5minute blocktime

What Litecoin now offers:
2.5minute blocktime

Basically, Litecoin is worth less than Blackcoin, Netcoin, OompaLoompaCoin, heck, practically anycoin that has a faster blocktime and Any other feature... Litecoin offers absolutely nothing over what 99% of these alt coins offers, even the worst alt coin offer more innovative features than Litecoin. And to those litecoin bagholders, who say that "Litecoins age and adoption" is something it offers, that's not true..There are NO reputable stores Worldwide that accept Litecoin, not one.

Verdict: Litecoin is dead, it hasn't been updated in years, it's a practically abandoned coin. I'm gonna feel really sorry to all the litecoin bagholders that are still "HODLING" when Litecoin reaches $1, 50 cents, 10 cents etc.

I agree i guess holding these coins and mining are not profitable in the case or paying bills i also mining coins and i stop mining ltc i guess monero and eth is more profitable and also there are a lot of coins in the market that can be use for investment i guess .

Did you sell your litecoin ASIC?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.5 (Windows/Linux) on: July 05, 2017, 08:13:48 AM
newby here, I'm using claymore in a pool with gpu hd 7770

How do I know the H/s of my gpu?

I have 50 total shares, how do I know how is going on?

If I want to shut down mining, Am I gonna get rewarded?

Is hard to get good documentation...

The hash rate is displayed on the miner screen.
