Okay, a believer of bch. Bitcoin cash that a centralized one, that being controlled by greedy peeps. Yeah you have nothing to lose when you buy bch now but you're acting more than a FOMO. And you do believe that fork coin will be have a good value. It's kinda weird for a forked coin will have a fork.  The bitcoin cash got several development teams. So it seems it is not as centralised as Bitcoin. And the community will fork bitcoin cash in 10 days, which will make it even less centralised. |

Your cards are already overclocked so EthEnlargement will not work. The only way to tune your cards is to decrease power consumption setting down GPU Core voltage to 800 mV or decreasing TDP to 60-70% and increase memory frequency +400-800 Mhz depending on your chips.
Wait, so ETHEnlargement is just overclocking? I thought it is more about memory timing tuning. I don't see why it wouldn't work on P104 if it's memory timing settings.  Correct. ETHlargement is essentially tweaks in memory timings. It is a pure software change implementation. Kudos to the developments who came up with this genius mod though  I mean if ETHlargement "hack" is pure software, then it should theoretically work on more cards, right? The fact that it doesn't work on more cards suggests to me there is something more complicated to this software than memory timing tweaks. It works on specific memory types used by 1080 or 1080Ti. |

It is sad that experience traders panicked and sold their bitcoins on FUD. Bitcoins bear trend was for short time and the price is now about to increase the 20000 USD it was trading last year.
When do you think the price will reach $20k? sometime next year? |

I really apricate the positive approach towards crypto’s growth. Yes it would happen and can see bitcoin reaching minimum $20k by end of October 2018. Just take the current situation positively and move forward buying more coins including bitcoin. The growth is curtained down the line keeping last year’s growth trend. Can predict as its crypto currencies. Crypto’s nature is fluctuation and thus we can expect more growth in value of all altcoins.
I believe that it will go back to $20k dollars or surpass its previous price because most of the cryptocurrency analyst today are expecting for the price of bitcoins to grow up to $50k dollars so keep on holding your coins right now. I think the BTC has found the bottom of the short term price. It will go up to $20k gradually. |

He means you mine coins before they are on an exchange. So you mine a new coin, it doesnt have a price yet. You are taking a gamble but with patience it sometimes pays off.
I did that a few years ago. It is quite risky as they might not be listed later. |

I am trying to move one rig from ETH to MONERO. I see 4500 h/s for 6 rx 580. If the difficulty has dropped, shouldn't I see better hashrate?
I think the good profitability will last a day or two, then there will be a increase of hash rate from other GPU miners. |

If you are familiar with the downsides - as it seems you are - then go for it.
I have some mining since 2014 or so and still going strong.
They are beasts as you say, but noisy and hot!
I have a few those cards. I undervolt them so that they are not so hot and noisy. |

Hi,
Using this miner with old R9 280x in single mode.
When I mine altcoins I get 20 mh.
But when I mine Etherium I get only 10 mh.
Why???
The DAG file of ETH is large. So it is slow. |

A lot of coins have been created on the basis of the etherium. Therefore, the etherium lived, lives and will live. And numerous forks.
I think after each fork, the ETH will become better. |

Congratulation with your holdings. I know that you are already getting good profit. But same with the holders of Ethereum, we also get good profit because it has a good support by the community same with litecoin. I think no need to bash Ethereum because both coin is a good investment.
There is no scaling problem for the ETH. So it could be used more and price will rise again. |

I did a huge test on a bunch of GPUS. I'm about to make 90+% back by next month. I'm so grateful of this well and truly bursted bubble.
bought most of my 40 GPUs in May, getting my money back by the end of the year as well, greatly thanks to SIGT (mining profit $250++/day for couple of weeks lol) and ZEN. So burst. More accurately, thanks to the HUGE JUMP on almost all cryptocoin prices in the Feb-May timeframe that outpaced the rate of total network hashrate growth for months. I think it is quite difficult to repeat the process in the near future. |

Whoever is still using r9 280x... I need your advice badly!
I have weird 13-26 mh/s ETH 29-58 mh/s LBC fluctuation.
Does not depend on overcloack, power limit, page file > 32gb different PSUs voltage, temperature or whatever, tried all the shit possible!
Nicehash users buying your hashes will sometimes mine a coin with smaller dag (like UBQ) and on that coin 280x will give you its full speed. So if you mine the UBQ directly, it is good for 280X. |
