I paid for ethereum yesterday. they claim you get it in 15min to 2 hours, and if coins are not in wallet by that time to send email. Sent first email after 3 hours, no response. Second email in 12 hours no response. I am here now waiting 1 day and half with no coins on my ethereum wallet. William Thomas would be cool to resolve this..
Sorry mate, we saw a 10x increase in traffic from XRP mooning and a mention in The Metro yesterday. Can you msg me your order reference and I'll find out what's going on for you. Again, sorry for the delays!

block explorer hosting will be expired in a week. too bad there's only paypal payment available.
Which one mate? I'll top it up.

Fuck britcoin. If you buy it you are guaranteed to lose your money. There is virtually no trade. The small group of people behind it always offers much less than the current value. You buy britcoin, but you can never sell it again ... Only with great loss. Do not start ... I've known Britcoin for several months now, I lost a lot.
You can only lose, believe me, it is a clever scam system. This is a warning.
Up to you, sell your BRIT. No one is stopping you.. I'll be happy to buy them. As for "scam", funny how when the price goes up no one says that.. Only when the price goes down

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of communications. I've been quite busy recently, on Britcoin and other projects. I've been to a few promising meetings lately and hopefully we can secure the funding for development and more. In the meantime Leigh setup a slack channel for every one to use, so if you want to reach me join in and say hello! https://britcoin.slack.com/join/

It seems Leigh's account on here as be compromised, so keep an eye out for messages/posts from his account!

A question I'd like your input on leigh2k14 & anybody else so inclined:
Will & I have been discussing a marketing slogan for BRIT and looked at the following, which were put out to mates to poll on:
1) Britcoin – The independent currency for an independent Britain 2) Britcoin – The digital currency for an independent Britain 3) Britcoin – A digital currency for modern Britain 4) Britcoin - a crypto currency for the UK population (thanks Leigh!)
The general feeling was the first 2 were too Brexity & it was better to leave out the word crypto when dealing with the general public, 3) was favoured which was boiled down to:
5) Britcoin - Britain's digital currency 6) Britcoin - The UK's digital currency
which have the benefit of brevity & are informationally catch-all.
Do you think the repetition of 'Brit' in 5) is annoying or alliteratively seductive?
TYVM, RC
My sig is more of a description, is suppose we could modify it a little. How about: "A Digital Currency for the UK Population". I like the shortened version; Digital currency for the UK

Just one more thing: We need everyone who stakes to be on v3.3.0.3 going forwards. There are too many reports of people falling out of sync after staking on older versions. To that end I've gotten a Mac version of 3.3.0.3 produced, which you can find a link to in the OP (page 1 of this thread). Thanks to MystPhysX for compilation and patcrypt for testing.
Oink, Mo
Well done Mo, I'll update site today.. And a few other changes.

Fellow Britians,
The six months for which the investor gave funding have passed, and as we didn't have things such as SPV wallets with HD addresses by the deadline, it isn't clear if he'll continue funding this Britcoin revival project.
In any case, I've lost motivation to continue so I think now is a good time for me to leave. I hope that I am replaced as soon as possible. They say it's never a good time to leave, but I feel I am enabling the investor to keep underfunding and undersupporting this project by carrying on working and paying for things myself, so perhaps this can spur change. Please consider the Coinomi integration my parting gift, which paves the way for future Britcoin SPV wallets based off the ElectrumX technology, bypassing the issues I had getting Electrum servers to work with Britcoin.
I'll just keep the seed nodes running, and I ask the community to keep the chain going by staking using the 3.3.0.2 and 3.3.0.3 wallets.
Mo
Really sad to hear you're leaving piggu - Britcoin wouldn't be here without you so you'll be really missed. Hopefully one day you'll be willing to rejoin and but until then I wish you all the best with your endeavours!

It is quiet here . I can not see many updates from Dev. this project needs more promotions to boost it up, dev
Yea development of the new wallets is taking a bit longer than expected, sorry about that. In the meantime things are being done behind the scenes. Once the new wallets are ready we can move forward with things.
