I download latest gekkoscience.com/misc/cgminer-gekko-win32.zip

but when I run it
Cgminer.exe application error the application was unable to start correctly 0xc00007b click ok to close the application

I tried the earlier version for win32 and that works fine but no support for eu versions of sticks.

What about eligius or antpool what to move to?

I am having trouble using more than 2x compaq in USB hubs.

I used Anker 7 port  60W and the Orico 36W

I tried on PIs and on Windows 10 laptop

But seems no matter which combination wont work with more than 2x at around max 200-225 MHz

So it is like somehow the rasp pi2 suddenly cant detect sticks.
But if I use sticks on windows it work fine.

something strange i got 2 pi2 with 2 orico usb hubs running minera.

In each 2x compac with 225 mhz and all fine for a week

but now suddenly after i put both raspberry pi2 in the chassis somehow after that
it now wont recognize sticks

I tried unplug usb hubs, switch them, only use 1 stick etc.

but somehow it cant get working anymore.

I tried the sticks on a windows seems fine also i tried reformat memory card with minera but seems same.

I just got the R1 crazy how do you connect 3 which USB hub?

When I run default with all the Compac:

win10 64bit or linux latest
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://xxxxxx -u x -p x

they always run 225 MHz 775 mV

Is that too much?

Do I need manually tune them down?
I wonder why default settings is so high?!

when I connect him to linux

it shows this:
it like it keep disconnecting
so i am thinking not enough power but i unplug everything else it still doing same.

So seems this one unit cant keep connection it keep getting disconnected.
what can be ?!

so i just left bastard child in and after like 10-20 mins it suddenly started mining in cgminer ?!

So let see next time i take it out and in what happens.

i try everything i go in registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then SYSTEM, then CurrentControlSet, then Enum
psexec -i -d -s c:\windows\regedit.exe

find device in there and DELETE it and reinstall all

I even compare it to another device that works and they have same driver same setup all look same other one works.

So not sure if this stick defect
There is green light when i plug it in.

I also try on a linux to see if it is damn windows cause it but same
no devices detected

then zadig

roll back driver
then zadig

but still he keep saying
no devices detected

anything else can do it?
It must be windows doing something strange.

They are only 225 MHz standard.

Which one of those do you like best?

Another strange thing

2 units work fine in laptop.

Then i got a USB hub to run more devices

ORICO 10-Port USB 2.0 Hub with UK Plug 36W AC Power Adapter & USB2.0 Data Cable for Windows and Mac PC

But no matter what i do if i connect hub to laptop or to raspberry pi minera  it will never work with more than 2x Gekko.

If I put in 3 sticks in usb hub it just keeps around 22-24 maybe raise to 26 that it

if i plug in 4 same nothing just stays on 22-24

and i cant think it is because not enough power in the HUB it has its own power supply.

There is nothing else connected not even fan.
But I never can get it to load more than 2.

I wanted like 4-5 in the HUB.
Is the hub bad?
It cost a lot on Amazon and should be powerful.

yeah tried everything.

so what i did now was

go in device manager where i normally uninstall and delete it.

instead i clicked REVERT back driver
then after that did zadig
then started cg

now it found it
let just see for how long

So one of the gekko i got here is a bastard child.

Like it can be sticked in laptop and all working
then i take it out and in again and then no devices found.

I goto device manager uninstall and delete driver
doing zadig again but it still not finding it.
It like random sometimes it finds.

I try all ports on laptop and it already worked fine before?!
What else to try?
