Thanks for the link, was wondering what was going on there. Wonder if this is related to the 0.90 wallet bug.
Side note, what is the 0.90 wallet bug? First I've heard it.

I just read through the last page, so if it's been mentioned and I didn't see it, my apologies. However, I can't log in. Instead, when I click log in via Google Account I get this message: Error: redirect_uri_mismatch The redirect URI in the request: https://www.btcjam.com/users/auth/google_oauth2/callback did not match a registered redirect URI EDIT: It's working again today.

I actually wish you luck.
I requested something similar but didn't get any bites.
We are restricted by demand. Sadly the people most literary are unaware of bitcoins.
If you succeed it will be a shining beacon for me and other writers as well.
...At least those who don't act all childish about it.
Thanks. Yeah, I honestly don't expect to get many requests, but figured it'd be worth the time to make a post about it as it's pretty much the only skill I can offer digitally.

So, I have always dabbled a bit in writing poetry, even had one get published in the compilation of Forever Spoken (not that I expect more than perhaps a couple people to know of it). So, I figured I'd offer up writing poems as a service, not sure how much demand will be for it but you know why not. As I note, I generally don't do rhyming poems. I've got no clue how much this service is worth, so for now if you're interested, make me an offer and the type/content of the poem you'd like. Current Client: Open Pending Client(s): None Previous Clients: mccorvic Edit: Added in a current, pending and previous client lists so that it's easy to see where I am currently as well as know who you can speak with if they are open with speaking about my service.

Lets see if my luck holds up with that bet, letting most of it ride at another 0.005 bet for 5/13. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hmm, which problems were you trying to fix? I just tested it and it's still possible to go into negatives with Red, White and Blue. (I'm LtRey493 by the way) Of course, if you weren't working on that, it'd still be there. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Edit: I didn't refresh, and the bonus gave me full 10, so it could just have been a display error.

hahahaha.. I think the doughnut turned people off I'd be interested, and will be keeping track of this, but unless investing on BTCJam counts as spending Bitcoins, I haven't spent any other than a small amount of mBTC trying out satoshidice and bitzino. Even if it does count, I've only invested .471 BTC so far. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Ah, that would explain why I can't, no I don't have any rating yet. So that explains it. And that could work, heh, wonder if that's be frowned on or not by the other Bitcoin-OTC users.
I think a +1 for two mutually beneficial transaction will not, given the desire to tie it to BTC Jam for credibility. If we gave a +10 that would be something different. Fair enough, let me read up on how to rate real quick and I'll do so. Mine bitcoin-otc name is my screen name here.

So do you two have a wallet with these companies holding it for you and you access it thru their site, or running one on your own machine?
Aaron
I could be wrong, but I'm fairly certain that Electrum stores the wallet.dat file on the local machine. I poked around in the folder a bit and seem to remember seeing one. The private keys for electrum is held in one's local machine. The cloud part of the system merely assists in the procurement of the blockchain, where one doesn't need to download it as opposed to bitcoin-qt. The only risk would be the existence of malicious systems where a forged blockchain is fed to the user, and thus fools the user in thinking he has more/less bitcoins than he actually has. No actual loss of bitcoin should be possible as far as I know. Ah. Well thanks for the clarification. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) That does explain why it's theoretically recoverable as long as you know the private key.

Okay, I was trying to link BTCJam to both my account here and at Bitcoin-OTC, I got the one here no problem, but every time I try to link it to Bitcoin-OTC with my GPG Key I get this message:
Error retrieving gpg keyid.
I'm not sure what to do about that, so any advice would be appreciated.

Honestly I've been building up slowly from the faucets and earn sites to the point I have about .4 BTC that I'm now investing, and I've yet to pay more than .0005 when I moved the coins around, then again using Electrum I have some input in what I pay for the fee.

Hey I had the same problem on my ubuntu machine. I downloaded the new electrum file and it worked no problem. However I lost the 0.001 BTC I had on there.
How did you update your existing electrum client?
I simply used 'sudo apt-get install electrum' in Terminal, it updated electrum and still kept the meager BTC I had in there.
