Okay, I was trying to link BTCJam to both my account here and at Bitcoin-OTC, I got the one here no problem, but every time I try to link it to Bitcoin-OTC with my GPG Key I get this message:

Error retrieving gpg keyid.

I'm not sure what to do about that, so any advice would be appreciated.

Do you have your GPG Key authentication with your Bitcoin-OTC handle?

If so do you have a rating yet i the web of trust for bitcoin-otc?

You'll get that error if either condition is not met.  I know I have the same problem,  and i reached out to the support team at BTC Jam.  I have the first condition met but not the second.

If you like, I'll rate you with a +1 if you rate me with a +1.  My Bitcoin-otc handle is osok.

Ah, that would explain why I can't, no I don't have any rating yet.  So that explains it.  And that could work, heh, wonder if that'd be frowned on or not by the other Bitcoin-OTC users.

I think a +1 for two mutually beneficial transaction will not, given the desire to tie it to BTC Jam for credibility.  If we gave a +10 that would be something different.

Fair enough, let me read up on how to rate real quick and I'll do so.  Mine bitcoin-otc name is my screen name here.

once you are bc authenticated
Use this page to figure that out if your not sure (or for others reading this page): http://wiki.bitcoin-otc.com/wiki/Bitcoin_address_authentication

Then you need to make sure your GPG Key is registered: wiki.bitcoin-otc.com/wiki/GPG_authentication

Then you have to use the following command to provide a rating:
;;rate osok 1

(rate <nick> <rating> [<notes>]) -- Enters a rating for <nick> in the amount of <rating>. Use optional <notes> field to enter any notes you have about this user. <nick> must be the user's GPG-registered username, Your previously existing rating, if any, will be overwritten.

Here is more on the rating system: wiki.bitcoin-otc.com/wiki/OTC_Rating_System

Well, it appears we have to receive some ratings before we can rate others.
