this is true, people will be having another problem once this pandemic actually over especially in 3rd world country where they revoked their employees access to work because they can't handle the management properly because of this pandemic. i would say it does make sense but for the future run it's not worth it at all
There will certainly be a crisis. This is another stage that humanity is destined to go through in the near future. Sad

4  Bitcoin / Mining support / A6 Issue (Red Light, PG: 1 EC: 2056) on: May 05, 2016, 01:16:50 PM
Hi all,

Pretty new to all this still, but one of my miners is red, still working somewhat and throwing a PG code of 1 and EC code of 2056 in cgminer status. I'm not sure what this means, if someone could explain whats going on that would be great. Thank you for your help, hopefully its nothing to serious. Picture of the status page below:

7  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 6 PSU fails on: February 25, 2016, 03:57:39 PM
It simply means the PSU is bad. You need to contact who you bought it from and get a new one. I'm going to assume they are Bel Power Solutions PET1300-12-054NA PSUs and that they are used?! They are good PSUs, no doubt. But if you want them to continue to work and be power houses, I highly recommend you take off the top cover open up the plastic underneath and get a tank of compressed air and blow them out really, really good. Otherwise, they will just suffocate or dust will collect somewhere too much and create a contact and short out your PSU.

Edit: also you may want to check the contacts in the back and make sure none of them are bent.

9  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Solo Group Mining] Block Breakers United on: February 21, 2016, 02:23:35 AM
I can refund tomorrow night, sorry that it happens like that. Trust me, it is hard getting a good group going. It is also hard to sell people on the idea. If you work to being a good person in the community, trade, be polite and stimulate the forum you can build yourself a spot.

This is true, I started an idea similar to this & ezeminer offered his services as an Escrow/Running it on the thread (This was before Block Breakers United was set up)

I decided that it would be better to instead join forces with him since we could both bring in potential risk takers & try our luck together instead of just scraping at it by ourselves hence the whole Group/Pooled Address Solo Mining.

Yes, I'm pretty sure everyone knows there is a German solo mining group as well as a few other hush hush groups that supposedly rent Th-Ph per day but most are run by low level members with no trust or post history or in another language also note that they are higher hashrate rentals on average for bigger buy-ins and BBU is just getting started with its second run.

Block Breakers United also offers bigger groups if people would like but it is best to invite others before applying for the group as you don't want to be waiting for a while for participants because of such larger buy-ins.

If there is something good going on then you should stick with it, there has been a lot more participants/buy-ins this round in the short space of time.

We may get lucky with our hashrate that we rent & hit a block OR we may not, that is the joys of gambling Cheesy

Yes, I understand all that. It's fine I'll stay in the group for the run ezeminer. I was just being salty. I just dislike other people shitting on me \ disrespecting me even after I apologize. There are better, more respectful ways of letting someone know what they did wasn't cool. It's not that I was trying to "shit" on this thread or any other. Simply was trying to get the attention for the group. So I am sorry again.
10  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [Solo Group Mining] 1-3Ph Group (based off Block Breakers United) on: February 20, 2016, 03:58:28 PM
Closing this, I will be doing the run on my own. Any Mod feel free to delete.
11  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: [Solo Group Mining] Block Breakers United on: February 20, 2016, 03:51:40 PM
Also you sort of straight up ripped the terms, the extra mining rigs and the objective.

I said based off your group.. So naturally I inherited that. Take it as a compliment. I thought you did a good job thinking of everything. I'm just interested in a larger group run, but seems like that wasn't going to happen in here with this group. So sorry I offended everyone, was just trying to get things rolling. I'll remove it all, and take a refund of my funds please.
12  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [Solo Group Mining] 1-3Ph Group (based off Block Breakers United) on: February 20, 2016, 03:46:00 PM
Why wouldn't you just use block breakers united group 3 instead of this new thread? Or join the Germans?

neither seem to be running this.
13  Economy / Investor-based games / [Solo Group Mining] 1-3Ph Group (based off Block Breakers United) on: February 20, 2016, 02:37:21 AM

Objective

Forming a group to solo mine together at 1-3Ph depending on funds.
I will be investing 6-8 of my own BTC. Plan to start in 1-2 weeks, depending on funds.

I will collect money, rent rigs from nicehash, then point them at http://solo.ckpool.org/ and hope we find a block.

You may get money back, and you may not get money back. It all depends on if we find a block or not. If we do find a block we will divide the block up and give each person that bought in the exact same amount. If not, you will receive nothing back. Invest / Gamble at your own risk

If you would like to withhold some funds as a donation to -ck for running his pool and being a great developer in the community. I will hold it and create a transaction including everyone's donations and post on -ck's thread that will include everyone that chooses to donate.

How much hash rental are in each group?

i want in on the 1+Ph group

16  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Questions of MyBTCcoin.xyz pool. on: February 13, 2016, 04:56:03 AM
Ok i put the address but without the ./cgminer -o and now is mining.

How do i set my payments? every .01 bitcoin i get to be sent to my wallet. Thanks.

payments are automatic after each block confirmation. his pool runs on a 5nD structure, so first couple of payments will be smaller, but after a day or so it will spit out your average payment per block. if you did not register, your user name should be your wallet address. if you did register it will payout automatically as stated.

I have 8 Avalon6 miners connnected, they must give me a total 28 Th/S. But my hash rate in that pool is varying from 14 - 36 th/S, why? Is it normal?

How long have they been connected? May be an issue, sometimes it takes a little while to stabilize. Though I have mined at his pool, I saw the same thing occur. Not sure if something is configured incorrectly there. Since the big rollers left his pool, I have too. I have been at kano.is, he has a well built pool and I hardly see fluctuations like that in his pool. Just a suggestion.

having an issue renting from nicehash and or westhash

I wanted to point some decent hash power for the last day of the compac stick club.

@ ck  what is wrong with my order

and of course in under 1 minute of this post it now works.

westhash

 S #988473    0.0039    10.00   10   1.4465

I had the same problem when I placed an order twice in the fixed slot and both were cancelled. The moment I went to standard it went through and haven't had any problems.

If you are pointing it to the main pool (US), then need to use port 3334.

Just my older rigs, about 1TH give or take.

I see, maybe I haven't read or seen it, but why is the main one hashing so low?
