The online time will be delayed for several days, will compensate in full after 24:00 27th Jan

Mee shocked.  So you pay 950 as normal usr on batch 9.  Yous charge 200 over Shocked and you say it bulk buy, which mean you pay even less.  You new name should be PClate.

Li my S7 stopped hashing at 0900 UTC today, is it due to the terrible weather in China?
i will check

Justs like he will change pools.   He still not answer thing.  But what happened to big avalon purchase you bragged bout? He not as big as say.

PCFLie talk big, slow if any follow tho.  He say we a lot, that include other in where he rent.   He is not the big buyer me think he add on to other sale in share center.

i employee a part time engineer to complete the website, it is fine before the problem, but now the engineer is too busy to handle this problem. I already hire a full time software engineer to work on this issue, but it is true it will cost much more time than expected
Please get back to me in case you need help. This is exactly what i do for a living as Senior.
Thanks for the help, it is not easy to work online, especially consider that i am not familiar with soft ware at all, which make me not easy to request exact need and requirement and will lead to very hard to co-operate.
let my employee try first.

Sos you not familiar with soft ware.    Buts you want to turn into cloud in future?  Odd

You big talk.  But what happened to big avalon purchase you bragged bout?  How long averagee time to change pool as customerr?

your site is down, no service, poor service from what I'm reading on here, yet you expect us to pay the balance up in full? this is crazy, I'm almost willing to just risk the loss of my down payment, instead of risking another 1000usd.
I am very sorry for the down of my website, so if any customer lose trust and want to get refund, just told me and i will refund all your pre-paid money in full.
As a matter of fact, we order more than 2000 unit s7 for ourselves so it is no need to scam the customer here Smiley

I just want to add that Lee refunded my deposit without asking any question, I didn't even ask for it. This tells me how honest he is. If I ever decide to host a rig in China, I will definitely go with Lee, probably when S8 or S9 (?) comes out.
I didn't even see this post of Lee's, miningmeter ask for a refund if you no longer like the price.

It's not the price rather a change in plan. I also transferred a lower priced S7 from Philip to me to a member here so definitely not the price. All I did is sent Lee a pm saying my plan has changed and I would like to cancel my reservation. He agreed and refunded my non-refundable deposit.

I ended up canceling this  and selling to wlefever.

I no longer have any mining gear with lee.

But I had a dragon back in 2014
and I had 4 s-5's in 2015
and the s-7 now.....

He has been good....  And he has had website and data center issues that he has made good efforts to fix.

To the complainers
READ this:

This buy in advance has been rough due to big price drops.   Those problems are not on lee they are  the market which everyone that purchased in advance should realize the risk is on them not on lee.

Yet lee is still refunding those that want a refund.

Ponder that and realize that very few people in the world of BTC do this.

and stop your yapping.  Realize lee is guy with some honor and respect towards people.

He price is less then batch 9 is why he do it.   He get bulk price off it.

He still not keep website up.

Can it be Core and Classic instead of Core vs Classic ?

My discussion with Jonathan Toomim in "Miner In World" WeChat group.

http://pastebin.com/B8YQr5TQ

I'm working on a proposal for a rotating PoW changes to allow Core to survive Classic activation and bring an era of endless GPU mining to Core.

Please take the time to read it and comment.

Guy

I think the problem you are trying to solve isn't real.
I think Core and Classic will converge to friendly competition, and be on the same blockchain. There will not be an actual work between these two groups.
My 2 cents.
So,
My estimation is that Core team will split. Some will continue to work on Core but on Classic chain, buy some will prefer to do PoW (and Transaction ID) change rather to submit to the new governance.

Guy

And you will be there to give new governance to it?  He wants to start a central committee of hash and for him to be part of it.  He does this out of his company falling apart. They went from giving huge bonus to all top level employees to being beat by Bitfury where no one with big orders will want a SP50.

He is trying to find way to stay relevant.  This is one attempt at it.  He will not be able to do it.

Seems like a pointless personal attack by you (even as I agree the committee is a dumb idea). The proposal from him I saw was for the term on the committee to be limited so even if he were on it, he wouldn't be on it for long. So what?

So a company that lost in the asic race wants to start a new way of profit via committee.  Spondoolies is growing unprofitable look at the data, they have to release after being public.

If they won the asic race they would not be pushing for this.  The SP50 sealed the deal on them going away, unless they can pull something like this.   Have you read their company stats?

How they going to profit from this? Competing with AMD or NVIDIA on GPUs?

It's about trying to get all companies on same level.  Do you not see he pushes from asics after losing on development?

Mining on Bitcoin will not go back to GPU's its a attempt to go to something other then asic which they are losing at.  They want to be on same level as bitfury, so change the protocol since cant match chips.

They never had a problem when they were ontop and making tons.  Only after they were beat in the asic development do they want to change protocol.  I will not waste more time on Guy.  Time to get back to work.

In order to survive, Core needs to change its PoW, or else Core miners won’t be able to mine at all.
Classic will have democratic governance but centralized, ASIC based mining.

Core will have meritocratic governance but democratic, GPU based mining.

Please install a breathalyzer on your keyboard.

Guy is doing this as Spondoolies is losing value every day.

As far as I can tell as a complete outsider, they're finished.

So consider all that to be a sunk cost. Lessons learned by the admirable experience of having tried and failed.

What he's writing about now has no obvious relevance to a mining equipment company. Do you think Spondoolies has some new GPU they're trying to sell, because that's the only miner-related agenda that would make sense here.

I'm not really a close follower though, so some or all of the above may be wrong.

I to am a outsider, but one who read when they went public the amount of bonus money they paid them staff at top levels.  He wants that to continue, who would not?

But he is writing this as he is hoping to change things now they have no good future outcome.  They have old gear getting older.  They worked on a chip that is out of date before it hit market.

So do you think he would love to change it where there is a new agenda that put's him on same level as bitfury?   Heck yea.  He is grasping at straws hoping change so they can do a new investment that is not already lost.

Guy is doing this as Spondoolies is losing value every day.  The SP-50 is not even here they cant manage their own next gen, even if they did it is already beat by Bitfury.

Spondoolies sold gear and did not have a problem when on top.  Now they are slipping more and more.  This is making Guy sound desperate a change to Bitcoin just so they stay a profitable company in coming years.

A central committee of hash to decide things... that is called centralization.  Bitcoin is a good protocol your company is just on it's way out of the game.  How much money went in SP50 to be beat before it even was sold?
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: January 21, 2016, 06:37:40 AM
In order to survive,
The mining playing field will be leveled again and the barrier of entry for mining will lowered. Everyone with money and access to low cost electricity will be able to mine. There will be no need to buy 16nm ASICs from BitFury at $13 per unit, when BitFury cost is $3 per ASIC (my estimation).

Your company had no problem with current Bitcoin when they were one of big companies making profit.  Spondoolies is a company of the past, with no more then hopes of a miner that already has been beat by bitfury.  You were happy to sell asics when you made money, and have problems with others being able to do same thing?

You want to change all of Bitcoin to keep your company rolling, as it's losing value.  You will not be able develop chips as good as Bitfury so you want new ideas.  You will never get the votes.  Just enjoy last few years of bonus you get till Spondoolies is a dead company.

So lose chip war to Bitfury and decide you need to change the way bitcoin works?

Go manage a company losing value every day.  Stop trying to change bitcoin to fit your companies needs.  You will fall other companies will take over such as Bitfury who beat you in chip dev.

U flat out lie.  You said same with Avalon u buying ton of machine yet never happened.   You charge month old price and pocket more profit in grop buy.  You say website go back up, but your engineer cant figure out to bring it online! I promise other he wil push and push to go cloud  someday, just watch.

If you buy so much S7 why not go to batch 9 price? Give us back $250 extra over batch 9.  You know you can do it as you paid batch 9 price or less.

U see engineer still can't get up website.  He use google form now to get info.  Would not surprise if he go to google form as he and team cant manage a single website.

And he want to go cloud and good chance he do it as profit from pool when all go tho him.  He go to one of ours big 2 pools antpool or f2.  Look how that work out! he making 1.5 percent off AntPool.  Or making the merged mining of f2.  Cloud be coming due to greeds.

What is engineer last report on website?   Still it will be fixed need more time or will u go with truth you have no idea how to fix.  I think google form changes in future vs website.

I am considering to turn the current host mode to cloud hashrate mode and send mining earning to customer each day according to 96% PPS,
then you will not need to worry about the mining status and i donot need to calculate downtime compensation.
meanwhile, i will still show the miner status on our website, when the website is restore to confirm the miner is real

Personally don't like the idea, because almost all "cloud" mining operations couldn't resist to possibility of confirming one miner is real multiple times. I believe that You are very honest person, but I don't think I would ever joined Your farm if it was "cloud hashing" project. Too many sad stories with "cloud hashing" till now. Anyhow, it's Your farm and Your decision. One that is not satisfied with conditions can always sell or deliver the miners.

He do it fo profit! He go to one of ours big 2 pools antpool or f2.  Look how that work out! he making 1.5 percent off AntPool.  Or making the merged mining of f2.  Either ways he get part of our profits!

So... you can't manage a single website and think it's good to control all mining through some so called cloud?  Worst idea ever.  Then no way to know if you truly have machine or if you are emulating one just sending daily payment.   And you AntPool is 2.5 percent.... so you mine there and get 1.5 percent of all miners?  Or you mine at F2pool and you keep all the merged mining... slimy idea.

You already are selling units for 1150 when Bitmain B9 is 860.  And you are not happy with profit?  What happened to all the Avalon gear you claimed to buying?

No matter what your engineer's not worth squat.  Can't manage simple website.  Last think you needs is to turn to cloud mining.  And you know everyone bought unit's not cloud.   You are doing cloud to make it easier for you on pool changing and down machine, and also to make a profit off mining them all.  Either pool you choose your either making 1.5 percent off AntPool.  Or making the merged mining of f2.  So berry sad.
