Sorry, I'm getting rate limited (360 seconds!) anyway yes, that's what i meant, and yeah they also said so on their twitter feed.  Funny though - https://binance.com/en does seem to work.

Is there any plan to move this patch into the main repository any time soon?

Maybe start incrementally by moving the peers.dat format changes first?

That would be terrific..

its possible to remove the volume chart in order to see MACD much more clear? lines are a bit difficult to see how crossed they are...

I would also like to toggle volume visibility. Smiley

Hi Bitcoinwisdom!

I am very happy with your service, donated over 0.1 bitcoin and I hope you will become a millionaire! Great service.

As for me, I have just one simple request, feel free to say no. But I would like to change the colors! Not all of them, just the green and red.

Here are two examples:

What do you think? Thanks  Cool

isbe you have been on this forum almost a year and you seem pretty clueless about Bitcoin, how does that work? where do you get 37 million Bitcoin from? there will only ever be 21 million and that is a long time from now.

"Seem" being the operative word here. You're running on assumptions. I only got the number wrong. Chill.

And another thing about people who say their 60Gh/s mining rig is now worthless. Why is this so, please explain. Maybe you earn less BTC at this speed, but the value of BTC goes up against other currencies so what's the problem? You mine less BTC but the ones you do mine are worth more...

In terms of Fiat, yes. This is about having less BTC.

So why don't we, in some kind of massive effort, decide to shift the comma one to the right? Say you have one bitcoin. 1.000000 BTC. Simply shifting the comma to the right and BOOM 10.00000 BTC Tongue

And people can feel happy because this will cause 1 bitcoin to suddenly cost 20 instead of 200 bucks.

And instead of 37 million BTC in circulation you have 370 million BTC.

Why not? Smiley

What happened with slush's NMC mining?
That is already dead for several months.

Why? NMC is a by-product from mining BTC is it not? Does he pocket the NMC himself? "Back in the day" I earned a lot of those.. So now Slush earns them all? If that's the story then... Wow.

Well i am mining actually but with stock params.

mining.bitcoin.cz
73.0 c   94%   263.57 Mh/s   47 / 0   0.00%   6800 Series42% (2751)   900 Mhz   1050 Mhz   1.175v
I would like to lower mem clock and improve a little bit core clock.

I'm in your situation, and I found I could raise my hash speed to 281 by doing the following. Note: this is still in beta, I had a few lockups that required a reboot. But maybe we can sort this out together and get our hash speed high. Wink

So try the following commands in your root terminal:

Code:
aticonfig --od-enable
aticonfig --adapter=0 --odsc=915,1050

Of course 915 is clock and 1050 is mem.

What kernel are you using? I'm using phatk2 and  BFI_INT VECTORS FASTLOOP=false AGGRESSION=11.

Let me know your results!
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Whitelist Requests (Want out of here?) on: December 02, 2012, 12:20:58 PM
Hi.

So if I understand it correctly; in order for a newbie to be allowed to post in other forums you need to make sure that we understand more than nothing about bitcoin.

Recently I started to mine bitcoin using a Radeon 6970 ("Barts"). I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and am trying various driver and SDK versions. The results are not too great -- about 275MH/s. I'd like to tune up the number so my reason to ask to be whitelisted is so I can post my questions in the appropriate subforums.

Thanks in advance!
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Bitcoinpool long round question on: November 28, 2012, 08:23:23 AM
Hi,

I've been pretty new to bitcoin mining. I've joined bitcoinpool.com and have mined during two blocks that didn't take very long to get payed a little.

So now I've been mining for 10 days and it seems that the current block still isn't finished, the round time is over 10 days! So I have a couple of questions:

* Is there any way to know when (approximately) the current round will be over?
* If the round is over after the payments go down with 50% to 25BTC, does that mean they will pay me out 50% of what I mined thus far?

Just some things that I hope someone reading this can clear up for me. THX Smiley

*EDIT* The round has completed shortly after I posted this. The answers still interest me... thanks.
