Does this wallet still support Android Jelly Bean OS systems? Other coins and apps in general seem to be phasing out support for it, even though still it has a good Android market share.

Alert to the Komodo users!
Do not deposit your Komodo to coinexchange.io!
It is clearly a scam: there is no support, no one in charge there. All deposits are pending for hours without any explanation whatsoever.
Many users are losing their KMD there!
I should have listened to the devs' warnings!

Our Komodo daemon crashed with all sorts of errors overnight. And we are also seeing some network issues.

No one has lost anything! Give us a chance to at least address the problems before screaming scam.

Yes, sorry for that. I was really scared, after hours of issue without being able to reach any support.
Now the problem was solved and I am already using your nice platform. Thank you.

*If I can make a suggestion here, please make clear to your users at what time zone you are working at (so that the users know when to expect support). Also, send automatic replies to the support asking messages you receive, so that the users know that your support email is functional.

I am sorry again, coinexchange and the community. And thank you all.

Sold at 40k will buy back at 20k sats

Good move! But not as good as that of those fortunates who did sell high on yobit only to rebuy lower on shittrex

you cant, they are not the same thing, yobit still doesn't have official Waves.

Unless you had something on both
not really, i sold part of my ico waves there for 3x the present prices. and i am not alone Grin

Yobit wont allow deposit address yet.  How could you have sold waves coin?  Other than IOUs?

Yobit has been processing waves deposits since last week https://twitter.com/YobitExchange/status/744211686056431616

It is already a knowns fact that some people in this community tried so hard to hide Shocked

Faucet is nice, but...

  • There will be always somebody who will take these coins
  • Troubles with faucet? Disabling tor really helps? Who thinks this? If you let someone who cares about it's privacy go to this faucet => !!! inform that it is not working with tor addresses !!! or is your time nothing worth?
  • Why is this faucet on if problem has not been resolved at all??? You would need to block proxy, actually all IP's
  • Faucet becomes useless if it blocks everybody
  • Somebody will suggest you to use some crap like cloudflare
  • Cloudflare is great, only not if somebody gets around, then coins are again lost
  • You look for better solution, this one is not good at all Smiley

What is here conclusion???: you waste your coins and lower coins value as these coins could be dumped (even if there was never much in this wallet).

If this should not be the same coin like so many coins, then it has to be different, the same is for faucets. Games are always better than faucets with just kilck, I am human, no I am really human, hey I am human!, ok let's do the same until there is no funds in this wallet, continue when funds arrive, ....   => what should be purpose of this?? Promotion? It would be great if these coins are spreaded to many addresses but someone who invested 1 btc during ICO is staking less than these faucets would pay out => Conclusion => Huh Smiley, no that's not good for coin health if someone would ask me.

Make something that brings social contribution, like chess or any other multiplayer game, ahhh, ok, sharing the next idea, why don't you make agar server and use warps rewards as ranking system,..... (just be crazy in imagination....)

Hope you take it like critics, not like offense.

Are you talking about 250 coins or whatever it is?
Do you really think it hurts?

A faucet was made by a community member. It was suggested, nobody opposed. Not sure what are you rambling on..

If you want to talk about ideas, why don't you suggest them?

I think @pokeytex does understood me correctly, you did not. If it is language barrier, then I do not understand why pokey understands it and you don't. Your answer is pretty offensive, don't you think? lol, was looking for you on a chat now, but now I read this message, thanks for transparency, I am out, wish you best with warp.

Hey, man, no need to feel offended. I can quite understand shapetwist's reply to your complaint about the faucet: The faucet idea was proposed in this public thread, and no one opposed to it. A community member was voluntary to bring it to reality, and that's how an open sourced project works.

Suggestions do not move the wheels; Complaints will not improve things: what an open sourced project need is people to make things, to bring ideas to reality.

It's fine that you bring your point of views and suggestions, but it's not nice to complain about voluntary works by other members, instead of doing something better, instead.

I don't want to be offensive to you or to anyone, I am just exposing how I see this specific incident. So, my intention here is to convince you to help warp, instead of abbandoning it.

I hear there was an airdrop which ended Jan 18, so I'm bummed out, did I really miss the airdrop??

I heard that up to 5,000 verified people could receive the airdrop, so far about 3,244 got verified... so please let me know if there's room for any more people to participate in the airdop, I'd love to be involved in this exciting project!
in one week it will be possible to buy decred on the exchanges. i am quite sure there will be cheap decred during the first days, dumped by some newbies: that will be a huge, and unique, opportunity Wink
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - Market OPEN on: February 01, 2016, 12:26:34 AM

This is great. Warp keeps getting added to more exchanges which will mean more trading activity. There is one more thing though...is it possible for Warp to get listed on Coinmarketcap? I will try to recommend them to add Warp to their list. This is very exciting. If all goes well, I will promote Warp to my friends and family.  Grin

Yes! Good to see WARP's progresses!

edit: it's already staking  ... anyway, again, it started staking, but the moment it received coins the wallet went out of sync, end after a while, the coins were orfaned again with the wallet resync :/ it's been like this the whole day today.

How many connections your wallet has? Check at menu Help > Debug window, it should have at least 8 connections in few minutes after you started it. Staking or solo-mining with less connections and / or slow Internet connection can easily result in orphans because of slow data propagation to the rest of network.

Once at Debug window switch to Console and at the bottom type checkwallet you should get response "wallet check passed" : true if not, use repairwallet and then restart. If none helps start wallet with -rescan option.

Also, from screenshots you have posted I can see that you are not using wallet encryption (password) which is a very bad idea.

Thank you for the support, especially reminding me of locking the wallet (I have never user PoS coins, I thought I could not stake if there was a lock on the wallet. But it's now fixed... and unlocked for staking only  Wink)

What I did was sending all my coins to a fresh new wallet and address, but the issue remains, I get only orphans, because whenever the wallet stakes it falls unsynced  Cry

I thought, maybe it was an issue with my internet connection, but now the wallet is in a machine with cabled connection (no longer a wireless connection). Also, I did the tests and the results seem good: ping 9ms / download 13.71 / upload 2.18.

Finally, I have put this "warp.conf", to see if it helps... it didn't:

Code:
addnode=109.235.71.102
addnode=24.48.120.173
addnode=70.83.227.32
server=0
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

Anyway. I'll just leave it there, and keep watching, trying to figure it out.

Thank you again.

btw.... I'd also like to buy all these WARP being offered here, but I find it too risky to do it without the (pseudo) safety of an exchange  Undecided

Very few people are actualy staking, I just got my first PoS block in few minutes since wallet unlock and I have less than 4,000 WARP total. Netstakeweigth is realy low as well as PoS difficulty. Other than that things work smoothly on my side (Win7).

I am still having out of sync issues, and lots of orfans, but my wallet has been always online.

Shutdown wallet, locate directory with wallet.dat and there delete the following:

Code:
database
txleveldb
.lock
blk0001.dat

Then start wallet, let it sync and then try staking.

Thanks,

I have deleted everything inside that folder again now (of course, keeping the walled.dat safe) to see what happens.

I have just noticed when I got home from work that only 1/4 of my coins are now staking, where as this morning all of them were staking.

Any ideas why?

Thanks

Is your problem also caused by the blockchain losing sync whenever the wallet starts staking, like this?

edit: I had a look at the coincontrol tree, and the the coin entrance is broken into two branches of approximately the same value ... i'd expect to have a huge first branch (received coins), and smaller branches (stake coins)... but it's the first time a deal with PoS coins, so I don't know, really...

I created a "warp.conf" file here. Is it ok the way I did it?

addnode=109.235.71.102

Thanks

Nice work shapetwist with the quick distribution of all the warp, received mine not too long after the sale ended just annoyed I wasn't able to buy more.

Happy staking to all the buyers aswell...  Smiley

It would be great if warp wasn't immediately listed on any exchanges until after the V2 wallet was released even with just some of the features. Saying that if it does get listed and some people are silly enough to dump their warp cheap I won't hesitate to buy it up.

Good luck all...
Seems to be a serious project with no premine or other scams, I have doubts about anyone quickly dumping his coins in case to be listed soon. Just my two cents...

I guess only a stupid (or desperate) person would dump a coin (under the price they have just paid on the crowdfunding) and lose money invested.

Anyway, I hope I'll be there in time to buy whatever cheap warp I can  Wink
