confirmed this morning by Poloniex that suprnova is broken.
quoted from Poloniex staff ... "It seem that transaction was sent without a xmr payment id"
Till this is fixed can't mine at suprnova.
Sad considering this looked to be decently maintained but appears pool operator ocminer is too busy with pascal these days.
I'm mining on my own pool and I also withdraw to polo. even if you send a payment without payment id to polo, just send them the TXID and the exact amount of your payment and they can still credit the amount to your account - since it's been transferred to their account... There are three checks in the pool software that sending to polo's address is impossible without payment id, first when entering the address, the second when verifying the address and the last when sending to that address.. I doubt it was really sent without polo payment id.. IMHO those ring-ct's have problems sometimes since XMR updated / forked. Chainradar shows NO payment ID (I PM'd you the details) Poloniex said it was sent with NO payment ID and they are forwarding to another department to see if they will credit me or not. 48 hours later, no credit yet. I believe you when you say there are checks in place. Previous payments went through without an issue. I was one of the first to beta test this but this last transaction failed. Having to waste all this time to chase it up, and still no funds, still waiting, something is still broken somewhere. Non integrated payment ID's where IMHO a stupid idea to start with. OK, message me your TXID again and I'll check that once more ! PM sent. Poloniex re-confirmed Payment ID missing. They have now credited my account but it has taken 3 days and 3 emails. I have left my Payment ID field untouched and populated with my paymentID for you to look into as to where it failed to be sent.

WARNING! Payment ID's appear to be missing in outgoing transactions which may mean loss of funds.
No comment by pool operator ocminer for 24 hours. Would suggest avoiding this pool as it stands. No answer to PM's.

From 1 month of usage ...
bitpay ...
4 weeks to arrive must use card or get charged a service fee (90 days currently?) can not choose own pin poor customer service (card services) must convert funds to USD in advance of purchase. balance stays in USD on card card does not include smart chip
shift / coinbase ...
2 week to arrive can choose own pin linked into coinbase account so funds stay as BTC till you want to spend them no charges for an idle card card includes smart chip

Less efficient? Dunno why they're even trying now. Don't see many people buying one, at least the S7LN had a few buyers. If they did something like the LN with the S9 I'd buy it but just looks like the one fan variant of the S7 they did a while back.
Assuming they needed to use low quality ASIC's somehow. Easy to overvolt and this is their answer. Are they using them in their new data mining centre? doubt it, unless they are for investors sections of the mining center.

Ouch ! Worst timing wish I had the $$ for one of these
well I sold 2 coins for 2100 and purchased 3 back for 2500 so it is not terrible timing last coin clears on friday. what ended up being the import taxes payable to the government for the largely adjusted price?

I indeed found a bug where some unintended ip banning on stratum happened in case you've used claymore over ssl.
Fixed now!
17 seconds later and the problem is solved. I'm back. How is the payment address + ID coming along? I'd say I'm at 80%... Some checks need to be implemented that users don't enter false payments ids or no id at all. Also the id has to be removed when the user changes to a kraken address with integrated ID etc.. It's not as easy as thought first, but I'm pretty far already Any update? With mymonero.com being offline which could be long term (hours turned into days and the core dev isn't working on it currently) and Jaxx not supporting mining addresses without the occasional crash (they warn against using their wallet for mining), mining to an exchange is really the only choice for monero.

suprnova went from 0.01 to 0.07. 7 times increase in fees!
mymonero.com down currently so that will be interesting to see.

payout fees went up to 0.07 XMR from 0.01?

Disconnect still occurring according to your dashboard page but worker page shows workers still connected. Monitoring emails of idle workers being sent out. Hashrate on dashboard almost zero. Issues today?
|
|
|
having same issue with low difficulty on a few workers that are hashing over 4k. Worst part is that worker gets banned even though the server is still accepting work for suprnova.
On top of that, when the worker gets banned, it doesn't send an email of an idle worker. Tested by taking a worker not banned offline and still no email 1 hour later. Block emails come in just fine.
Edit. Low difficulty issue solved for me by using xmr and not xmr-us where issue existed. I'll test xmr-us. again tomorrow if xmr. remains stable.
Email notifications for idle workers seem still to not be working.
Edit2. Low difficulty share is only occuring during a DevFee (claymore) event and very rarely. But enough for occasional banning.

Yeah alot of us have that problem with the lowdifficultyshare. It gets fixed for me after 15 min when the miner reconnect with the pool (dwarfpool). Not sure if a pool issue or a miner issue. Dwarf is doing some changes with their site, maybe their ports too.
okay, I'm seeing some of these lowdifficultyshares also with 9.6, but with 9.7 there are a lot more - can you confirm that 9.6 is doing it's work better? I reverted to 9.5 and for the past week all rigs have been rock solid. 9.6 and 9.7 with monitoring fail with latest cards. (tested on 30 plus RX470 and RX480 cards) Edit. I should have mentioned, 9.6 and 9.7 and fairly solid on NON modified bios cards. 9.5 is the most stable for bios modded cards.

New hardware will always happen, i still own a bunch of 290's from back in 2014, they're still running rock solid. But i get the point. What could and would be interesting in this story is perhaps the fact that these mx gpu's might be replacable by new gen mx cards. But i'm not very sure about that though. Would be ideal!
This is where a PC is more modular and cost savings come into play if the cards are NOT upgradable. Perhaps the manufacturers could comment on the ability to upgrade the cards.

2nd U.S server (west coast ideally), but to honest, as long as you have good DDOS protection, you'll keep a large chunk of miners. dwarf, minergate, moneropool-fr have had issues in the past few days along with others. dwarf was my go to but over 4000 ms response times and the constant disconnects and connects can't be tolerated for a 2% fee.
Also would like to see withdrawals direct to exchanges.
Kudos to having a server where you can actually see individual worker stats. Keep up the great work!
|
|
|
do you offer stats for individual workers like other pools do?
|
|
|
google won't allow these files to be downloaded. They are listed as containing a virus. Claymore's mega link on the first page also contains past versions.

they did reply on reddit saying "We can provide half a year' s warranty period, considering a long distance repair and replace. PandaMiner Service".
still, after the recent poor warranty performance of bitmain tech and the cost is more expensive than off the shelf components, those you can at least get year, 2 year, 3 year warranties etc

Be sensible. If people keep buying S9's at this price nothing will change. Just buy btc or hold your profits until demand causes them to stop screwing with us.
Need a competitor to come along and the price of hardware will quickly be respectable.
