No need to stop your MN to use the 1000 dash colateral.
Just send them the MN will drop off automatically.

Well that is the point. It doesn't do that (anymore?).

You got to go into coin control and unlock all the masternodes in order to send.

Highly recommend someone write up a short brief on that for this thread and \ or the dashtalk forums.

ZERO information other than this fine fella above who pointed me to the video what and how to do it.

I got 3 master nodes and I need to withdraw the funds urgently, these are hosted by a third party and it is night time where they are. I spent some time looking how to do this, only one mention on dashtalk from 2014 says 'masternode stop' which I tried and does nothing. Very surprised the funds are locked, when originally setting it up I was told to be careful not to withdraw more than the master node account otherwise it will no longer work. Now I find it is locked, when I try to withdraw it says insufficient funds.

How do I unlock it or stop the nodes remotely??

If you hold the private keys, coin control and unlock the 1000 vins for sending.

What ?

I got my wallet is all, I can remote start the the things and so far all coins come to my wallet that it generates. I have zero access or anything related to the hosts that are running them.

How do I stop or disbind or disengage the masternodes so I can with draw some of my funds from my wallet?

Start MN in Wallet

use Coin Controll:

Withdraw funds (make sure 1k is untouched)

done
 Wink

Thanks man! That did it. Holy shit how about they peg sticky whatever those instructions somewhere. Google anything related to releasing, moving, stopping an MN to get your funds, all that comes up is this

Disable masternode and pull all funds

I guess so shows a balance of 3000 coins. I made new addresess and sent them to a new wallet, in order to be hosted and set up for the MN.  If I try to transfer that or any amount it says insufficient funds.

masternode start-many command works from my wallet, the hoster asks me to input that whenever there is maintenance or upgrades etc. So for sure my wallet is controlling it all.  masternode stop does nothing despite it being the first google search on dashtalk.org.
