My cousins family has been through a lot dealing with heart surgery and this could really cheer her up.

If you can please vote and share this with other people It would mean a lot to her. She needs something good to happen to her.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: "no free outputs to spend" blockchain wallet on: March 28, 2013, 04:17:52 PM
i am having the same problem...I tried sending my keys to gox and nothing happened ...its been 3 days now....i tried to import the priv key into blockchain wallet and then pressing the sweep option  and I get the no free outputs to spend.

when I looked up the address with the link posted I received this msg:

"notice" :"This wallet contains a very large number of unspent outputs. Please consolidate some outputs"

All of my bitcoins (.26) have come from referral payments and I can not purchase more right now so I cannot add to the balance and manipulate it that way.

any thoughts??

I redeemed a bunch of private keys 2 days ago and support told me today that it was due to slow processing times. My address's still show the balance on block chain  so I dont know what the deal is.

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Mt.Gox import private key help on: March 26, 2013, 08:57:19 PM
I have a couple of wallets that have about .25 btc combined total.

The majority of the balance is unspendable outputs received from a certain website where you can earn for referring people.

Soo I read on the forum that if you import your private keys into mtgox that it will fix the problem and the btc would be spendable and located in my mtgox account. So I dumped the private keys for every address in the referral wallet and imported them into mtgox.

Every private key I entered came up with the response that the wallet was empty and it might be a typo. Besides that message it seemed to have accepted the private key because if I tried to resubmit it would tell me it was already uploaded.

its been about 15 hours since I uploaded them and nothing has seemed to change....and my mtgox account is still empty

any thoughts?

I redeemed private keys last night but nothing is showing up......every key i entered it said there wasnt a balance and maybe a typo....but my balance on block chain.info still shows up.  I dont see it having any new transactions either.

well things were going smooth.  I was pretty happy with how the site was looking.  I tried to put a border around the header and everything went to shit.
I erased the border code thinking it would fix itself  but it seems to have lost its structure somehow.  Any other time i add code if I do not like the result I erase it and it goes back to normal.

   ahh well

I also just started school for web development. I dont even touch a code until next year. I feel like I will be soo far ahead by the time my bachelors program starts that it is almost a waste of money.  I will still follow through and get a degree anyway but everything you need to know is available online for free.  If that little piece of paper means I will get paid more than I guess its worth it.

its a good feeling to see everything come together visually but I am really excited about the server side behind the scenes stuff.

I dont want to move ahead just yet until I really have a firm grasp on the basics but I think I might lose my girlfriend when I start dating PHP.

I taught myself HTML and CSS. I've been messing around coding different things and through trial and error get to see what each code i writes result is.

I decided to change the CSS of a wordpress site I've been working on and I cannot get enough.  There is always one more thing I want to try or do.

I know im barely scratching the surface but it is so much fun right now. Its like a puzzle trying to align divs and add CSS styles and such.

My bedtime keeps getting later and later. When I stop to go to sleep my brain will keep thinking of ideas and different things to try.

When everything starts coming together and you can recognize what each thing does and its purpose feels really good.

I've toyed with PHP and so far it seems pretty easy to understand (although it can get a little confusing with all the variables and such)....but I am intimidated by javascript. From just briefly browsing the language it seems that the next stages of learning are going to be a little more difficult and challenging.

So I welcome this new addiction and look forward to the sleepless nights.

15  Economy / Services / Free HTML layout on: February 20, 2013, 10:52:05 AM
Hey everyone,
I have been teaching myself HTML and CSS because I am going to school for web development.

I won't even learn a thing about coding in school until next year.

Since I do not want to move on to JavaScript and php until I feel comfortable with HTML and CSS
I'm offering to practice what I've learned so far for free.

If no one needs this service then I ask an experienced developer to challenge me with a task.

I'm trying to learn what I can do with HTML. So far it seems that HTML is basically only used to create divs or tables to put images or content into while positioning with CSS.

I have only briefly gone over html5 and css3 so I am not ready use them just yet.

I can't imagine many people have a need for such a basic page so I'm hoping an experienced developer might find it in their heart to mentor and challenge me.

Thanks in advance...I hope that one day I have the skills to help the bitcoin community grow.

What style of music are you interested in? Since I will have to figure out all the notes difficulty would be a major factor in cost. Do you have an example of the song you are interested in?

Thanks for the advice. Going to start learning the basics of php today.

I'm sure once I start school I'll have a lot more questions....seems like there are a lot of people with a lot of different skills here.

So skip html and go right to php?

I'm starting school in a couple weeks for web development.

What should I start teaching myself within these next few weeks to get a little head start?

As a web developer what do you feel the most important tips or things to keep in mind are?

Will I have much to do with graphics or design? (I've been learning inkscape, and enjoy it)

Just looking for any advice, tips, or thoughts  from web developers

What is the average day of work like for a developer?

Thanks
