1  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ten Years... on: August 18, 2021, 12:13:16 PM
Same ako dito sa dumedepende sa Crypto... as for the Job I can't really consider being a moderator a regular job... tingin ko eh pareho lang na anytime pwede mawala kaya hanggat maari eg nagiinvest na ko at nagpupundar habang meron pa.
Para kahit papaano, kahit wala akong stable job IRL eh hnd ako Zero.

Ngayon paextra extra hanggat may ooportunity, kahit magkanda puyat puyat G lang..

Amen ako diyan brader.

Mabuti na lang talaga nakapagipon ako in the past years from signature campaigns na nasalihan ko.

Dahil dun nakapaginvest ako sa ibang cryptocurrencies na still having its healthy movements hanggang ngayon. Di maiiwasan ang dumps or sudden changes atleast meron pa ding profit. Basta updated ka sa mga news, updates and announcements about cryptocurrencies marami kang pwedeng maging source of income.
Recently naging active ulit itong local thread naten because of NFT games na kung saan marame ang nagshare ng kanilang experiences with the game and sa tingin ko, nagiging active itong group naten once na may update at once na may trending, which is still a good sign kase shineshare paren naten sa kawpa Pinoy naten ang mga possible ways for them to earn extra money.

Hinde naman talaga active ang local group naten, let's accept this fact and don't be discourage kase marame pa namang good quality poster dito sa local naten at marami ang willing mag help especially if may katanungan ka. Busy ren talaga ang iba sa mga pinagkakakitaan nila, even me bihira lang magpost dito sa local thread.

Siguro pwede natin gamiting yung local board to notify them about new and ongoing NFTs.

Napakarami nang gusto magjump-in sa boat na to but most of them don't have any idea about cryptocurrencies and even NFTs itself. Basta alam nila kikita in the long run if they put their money unto it. Then we can just give the thread link sa mga Facebook groups about it. Dami din kasing tanung ng tanung without even reading the whitepaper.
3  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are humans not changing naturally? on: August 13, 2021, 12:35:50 PM
I think there are evolutions that we are overseeing.

Aside from the physical apperances that are so obvious to see, there are some evolutions that we can't see. There are humans that have immunity to certain virus. I also see this as an evolution as people are developing these defensive mechanisms without them even realizing.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid in Bitcoin vs getting paid in Fiat on: August 13, 2021, 01:27:46 AM
Which type of currency is better for paying employees? Is it Bitcoin or Fiat?

This depends on these employees.

From what I can see here in our country, people needed money they can use during these lockdowns. Most of them will accept Bitcoin as a salary but if they do, for sure they will just be holding it. Most of those that will turn that down needed money quickly and I don't think they are naive or stupid but because they will obviously pick the ones that people would easily use and easily accept.

Do you think we'll be able to see more jobs paying Bitcoin in the future? Or will Fiat still dominate the jobs industry?

In the past, I thought that we will be seeing that but right now, I think Bitcoin will stay as an investment, an asset that people will be holding.

We might use its value to pay for services or to buy something online but I don't think it will be that used that it will be dominating the said industry. It will stay where it is right now since it is much better there.

Is working for Bitcoin just like working "under the table"?

I don't think so. We are not in those times that using Bitcoin means that we are transacting on the dark web. Those times are so in the past. Working for Bitcoin is not working "under the table", it is working while envisioning what can it do in the future. Those workers know the value of Bitcoin in the future, they know how big it is even now.
5  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Hiring Axie Infinity Players (scholars) on: August 13, 2021, 01:04:50 AM
@mk4.

Tama talaga na wag tipirin ang teams for scholarship especially this season na focussed sila to give more SLPs to competitive players in the arena.

May mga kakilala akong scholar na having a hard time last season sa arena tapos ngayong nagfocus sila to give more SLPs sa arena, lalo silang mahihirapan. This season is a competitive season lalong lalo na sa arena, grabe.
6  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bisyo versus Crypto on: March 16, 2021, 12:26:23 AM

Iiwan na lang niya yung nangyari in the past, that should teach us a lesson, the same with other members here hoping or wanting to to invest.

It's never too late.

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people care who Satoshi is/was? on: March 12, 2021, 12:40:23 PM
Why do people care who Satoshi Nakamoto is/was? It's like wondering the name of the person that created the wheel. Sure, I suppose I would be curious about the name of the inventor of the wheel, if nothing else to raise a beer to them from time to time, but ultimately the wheel is the important part of the story.

Because it is Satoshi Nakamoto?

For sure, there are a lot of people that are curious who Satoshi Nakamoto is but there are those like that that don't care. I mean, yeah there are those movies that just interest you without you knowing who the director is. Each of us has a different point of view on this but since Satoshi is a mystery online, that makes people more curious.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoiner into the world on: March 12, 2021, 09:55:42 AM
Congratulations! Better reduce that gambling of yours now.

The price is going great this year and I hope he will be one of those users that would be like you that will educate the people in the future about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a whole. He had a great family, again Congratulations!
9  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: March 11, 2021, 08:11:56 AM
I don't see this happening despite the efforts of a few to help others.

There are a lot of poor people(PP) compare to rich people(RP). While there are instances that we can blame PP for being poor, most of them are because there are a lot of RP taking advantage of these PP. How can these PP rise, if there are a lot of RP boosting themselves up while pushing those PP under them further below?

There are a lot of proofs, just consider the employment here in our country that even a waiter or a sales lady's job requirement is too much for the said job. While their requirement is so high, the pay grade is not even comparable to the said requirement. This is the world we are living in, as RPs will keep their stumping their feet on the ground while those PPs will keep on persevering on that same ground.
10  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ceo ng TNC . Scammas? on: March 07, 2021, 11:19:26 AM
Mahirap na tong habulin kabayan. Since wala kayong kasunduan about sa nasabing trabaho that means na tinakbuhan na kayo.

Since kayo ang moderator ng Telegram, that also means pwede niyo makausap mga users about this certain scenario, they deserve to know this. Pinaghirapan mo yun and I think you deserve a lot of credits from the project and the other members of this research.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Guy using bitcoin to cover his tracks while running from the authority on: March 07, 2021, 10:41:28 AM
This guy is an IT expert, which means that even without Bitcoin, he could still secure his IPs or internet activities.

The media seems to emphasize or relate the use of Bitcoin in these illegal activities while there are a lot of abuse and things like these happening with the use of fiat. There are a lot of things they could use to trace this guy and the fact that they have photos of him means that they could find ways to catch the guy.

I mean, that also means they are ordering food and that is delivered to their place, right? If not they could just narrow those platforms using Bitcoin as a payment method. They don't need to trace the exact Bitcoin address.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin consumes 'more electricity than Argentina' on: March 06, 2021, 11:06:13 AM
Oh wow, another one.

Yeah, talk about Bitcoin releasing more CO2 while there are a lot of sources that could destroy the earth more. A lot of cars are releasing a lot of CO2 and why aren't they talking about it? A lot of activities of human that could lead to more emissions of CO2 and then there are a lot of people deforesting mountains making it worst.

I don't know how coins.ph verify the information but last month as far as I know, nagagamit niya pa yung account na yun. For sure madi-deactivate ang account na yun kapag nalaman ng coins.ph if magkakaroon ng strict taxation sa users ng coins.ph.

I don't know about this but I think ang coins.ph ay malulugi sa ganitong kalakaran since obviously, people will find a way to evade that taxations. For example, using another wallet or exchange na hindi saklaw ng law natin. But that also means harder ways to cashout our funds.

These players are converting their Bitcoins into fiat through online wallets or exchange na available sa ating bansa tulad ng coins.ph.

I think this post is deleted but..

Ang SEC ay nagwawarning about sa mga crypto-related investments but I don't think they should also warn about cryptocurrencies.

That also means na wala silang idea about cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin which sana mapalaganap natin sa mga tao.

Napakagandang plano niyan kabayan!

Sa totoo lang may mga tinuruan ako na mga kakilala ko about saving their money in a coins.ph account and them iconvert lang nila from PHP to BTC tapos hold na lang nila dun since most of them is not that familiar with cryptocurrencies. I just told them na para itong bangko and there are times na tataas ang presyo. Some of them already withdrawn their money while some kept on holding kahit na medyo bumaba.

Di ko naman sila masisi about it since most of them needed the money.

This gives me an idea about creating a poll para malaman natin kung anung lugar ang active pagdating sa cryptocurrencies.

Based on the article may mga places silang nabanggit like Cagayan where it is active. Base sa mga nakikita kong posts, maybe this depends on the place kung nasaan kayo the reason I am not feeling this activeness tulad ng pagkakasabi ng article na ito.

I agree with @mk4 kasi before this pump, we already had a lot of scams happening.

They are even taking advantage of the fact that there are a lot of people that don't know what Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is, tapos gagamitin nilang exit para hindi sila magmukhang masama.

Kung ito icoconsider natin, pwede kasing ginagamit lang nila ang coinsapp for the sake of online transactions but not actually using Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies na available in that mobile app.

May kakilala ako na isang freelancer online and coins din ang gamit niya to get his salary but hindi niya alam kung anu yung Bitcoin not until magkasabay kami magwithdraw one time and I told him about it. Sabi niya nakikita niya lang daw yun but never used it until I told him that it could give him profit. Siguro may kinita na din siya ngayon.

So siguro merong mga active crypto communities outside of bitcointalk, pero hindi parin ito sapat para pumutok talaga or at least ma sensationalize ang bitcoin o crypto unless na may ma scam na naman ng malaki.

There are some groups na hindi pa din alam ang forum na ito. Based yan sa mga nagtanung saken last year.

Napakarami talaga since marami ding nagseshare ng posts or mydays nila about sa profits nila with the recent pump of Bitcoin

Syempre, napakaraming naengganyo din about investing and not just Bitcoin but with other cryptocurrencies as well.

I guess it's good that they know what bitcoin is, at alam kong along the way e matututunan din naman nila ang mga ins and outs ng cryptocurrencies once their curiosities are teased way beyond what it is on right now.

I guess this reallly depends on the place that we are on now.

I really like to know the main regions kung saan active ang Bitcoin also with other cryptocurrencies. Maybe someone could make a poll about kung saan kayong region included or maybe I could add a poll and based on your answers here then I could sort it out para malaman natin kung alin nag pinakaactive. That could help our users and maybe other people that would like to visit the country na user ng cryptocurrencies.

As for kung pag uusapan eh pang dito-dito lang sa ating bansa eh pwede na din siguro dahil alam mo naman ang pinoy sunod sa uso lagi yan lalo na kung may kinalaman ang pagkakaperahan, medyo madami na din naman tayong pwedeng pagbasehan tulad nga dyan yung nabanggit mong coins, and other platforms which is na meron din kani-kaniyang communities, isa pa dyan yung sa traffic ng bawat platform na alam ko eh matatrack natin kahit papaano using Online Tools.

That's another thing.

Since sobrang uso ngayon ng investments, napakaraming taong gustong maginvest. AFAIK, it started with IWE and then after that napakaraming sumunod na schemes like right now may mga nagbebet on three numbers then magbabased sila on 6/49 or 6/45 na kapag lumabas yung three numbers na yun panalo sila.

This just proves na napakaraming gustong kumita and with the pandemic still here, madami pa din andg affected. A lot of cryptocurrency-related projects ang nagrurun but we don't know kung alin talaga ang legitimate so better be careful mga kababayan.

What most Filipino know is that cryptocurrency is just only an asset used solely for trading purposes and investment sCaMs  Roll Eyes and that's it! People won't even attempt to study crypto in general as long as they are making money out of it!

We should really emphasize this as @orions and @dothebeats are saying, hindi lang tungkol dito ang cryptocurrencies.

Just imagine, napakaraming matatalinong tao ang andito sa bansa natin, let's say may maging interesado and invent something from this technology, as far as I know meron na, for sure a lot of people would follow not just the people here but from other countries as well. That could really prove that we are one of the most active communities here in Asia.

PS. Pinoy ka pala @Janation

Grin hehe.

I've heard Cagayan's cryptohub in the past, right?

I myday-ed the movement of Bitcoin once and ang daming nagreact and nagPM about it. But I don't see this as an active community since as I said, mga nagtatanung lang karamihan and even some of them still consider Bitcoin as a scam.

They have a bigger problem that cryptocurrency and I think them regulating some of the most known exchanges here in our country means that they have no plans on banning it.

IMO, siguro may mga magbabagong batas in the future pero hindi ko nakikitang magdedeclare sila ng ban to the usage of cryptocurrencies dito sa bansa natin.

That's why Bitcoin Enthusiasts here in the Philippines are just earning quietly, kasi nga naman sobrang hassle magpaliwanag sa tao on why Bitcoin is number 1 profitable investment compare to stocks.

https://cointelegraph.com/magazine/2021/01/29/crypto-in-the-philippines-necessity-is-the-mother-of-adoption

Medyo napaisip ako sa unang part nito saying that Philippines is one of the most active countries in Asia. Hindi sa nagda-doubt ako about it but because I am not feeling that activeness in our country.

Nagcacashout ako in some of these outlets or remittance centers pero wala silang idea about it. They knew coins.ph but they are not familiar with cryptocurrencies.

O ang mga tao ay naghahanap lang ng efficient or safe ways, considering that we are still have the pandemic, to transact their money using these mobile apps or exchanges?
19  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Do you expect/want to make a lot of money without much effort? on: February 26, 2021, 07:39:36 AM
I've been asking this question myself everytime I am having a hard time here at work.

If we will not be pushing ourselves; to exert that effort needed, we will never be able to generate the money we are expecting. We should work hard and work smart to attain that kind of state in future. Where we don't exert that much effort but still earn a lot.

Also, managing our money well is very important. The question is not always how much you earn, it is also how you manage them.
20  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How much money is enough money? on: February 25, 2021, 08:42:44 AM
If we will be relating this to something, for example, a car, the price of it is enough. Exceeding that price is too much.

Since we are talking about how much a person could have or could earn to live, I don't think we should actually say that there's an amount which is enough. As long as they are alive, they will keep on earning so for me. They may have too much to buy a house or a car but as long as they are living, they will still earn money.

People have this timeframe to keep earning even though they have too much money. That timeframe they have is the same amount as their lifetime.
