1  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitit | Buy Bitcoin Fast on: February 04, 2018, 03:44:38 PM
Sent in docs and was verified then proceeded to purchase bitcoins, funds were immediately charged to my card but received message saying transaction waiting verification, 11 hours later still same status (I was charged but no bitcoins so essentially theft on their end at this point). Sent message to support as wells hours ago and didn’t bother replying to my message. Is this site a scam? Would their rep that posts here care to reply because have had no luck.

Transaction completed successfully. They just needed more docs to complete verification.

3  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk.org Contact on: June 16, 2016, 06:22:36 AM
Okay, thanks all. I'll send a PM to one of the mods and see where that gets me.

And I realize this is a forum and not a business but I was instructed by local authorities to ask owners/admin a question in regards to an identity theft police report I filed that occurred on this site. Therefore it's a personal matter and didn't want to post all details.
4  Other / Meta / Bitcointalk.org Contact on: June 16, 2016, 05:31:15 AM
Who do I contact at Bitcointalk if I have a question, I can't find contact info any where.

Thanks in advance.

No one provided any proof of the supposed identity theft

LOL go to hell.

Ask the lady who left a message on my answering machine yesterday asking me why I stole $2000 from her bank account.

This pos will get what's coming, I promise you that.

Was scrolling through threads I posted in that contained new posts and just tried clicking on the above link and site no longer around. Is this entire site just filled with loser scammers?

There was a temporary downtime. The system functions in normal mode now. All the services are up.

Our exchange operates since 2012. You can check our official thread as well: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735931.0

Best
Edward

My apologies Edward, glad to see you're still around. Guess I just have a bad taste still in my mouth after dealing with that loser identity thief loanoffer40

I've seen it finally accepted at land based operation little while back at coffee shop but for me it's ease of being able to move money instead of having to use P2P methods of past. Hopefully more places begin accepting it in near future.
9  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins Login/Two-Factor Help on: March 25, 2016, 11:29:47 AM
Yes I'm aware of reset but as I stated above I am trying here for help first so not waiting 2 weeks.

I took your suggestions but no luck. Odd thing is I have 2F set up for other accounts and working fine, just not on Local.

I don't know guess I'll just wait the 2 weeks. Thanks for suggestions.
10  Economy / Exchanges / LocalBitcoins Login/Two-Factor Help on: March 25, 2016, 08:28:35 AM
I can't figure this out and CS wasn't really much help so figured I would reach out here for help before resetting and waiting the 2 weeks.

I'm receiving following message when attempting login:

We couldn't verify your Two-Factor authentication code. Please make sure you typed in the right code correctly.

See this FAQ answer  for more help or request a Two-Factor authentication removal here

Thanks in advance.

Thanks all, I was able to figure it a couple days back with help from this thread.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greatest gambling victory on: March 24, 2016, 11:47:40 AM
All based on age IMO.

If you're still relatively young and without family push it and take the shot but if you're older with family, play more conservative.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: March 23, 2016, 02:49:53 PM
Pretty much anything you wish to buy.

thats the point, people just don't know what they want and/or don't know how to find deep web for example,  i'm sure you can buy lots of crazy stuff there, not even talking about drugs, not crazy enough for you, human organs might be there too
There are not that many things that you can buy with Bitcoin and that is really bad. I hope that it will be more acceptable in the future.
And that more people will know about Bitcoin so they will also going to use it. That will be so nice. But you never know what will happen...

Good news is that it is showing up at a few stores, coffee shop for ex, and hopefully continue to grow. Bad news is the US gov't seems to always try its hardest to stomp on things that aren't in its best interest.

9 years ago - 1k to 34k in 4 days on sports, lost 16k of it back following week.

7 years ago - 300 to 41k over a month or so on sports/casino, had terrible sports night went on tilt and emptied out on BJ.

2 years ago - Hit a royal on stud poker online, paid 4600 off I think a 5 or 10 bet

Nothing recently though but agree with op, awesome when it happens.

Wow those amounts alone are impressive percentage wise...any tips on how you did it? did you have any help?

Luck, pushed it when I was running good and hit a handful of big underdog MLs during tourney that year. As you can see though dumped almost half back in first case when I cooled off, dumped all back in second from tilting and third case was just random luck (at least cashed out 3k from it because don't bet as large now).

I don't have the stones any more to push it when on a heater so a good run for me now is 3k, cash out 2 of it play with the other.

Good Luck.

You're very lucky. what's your overall profit from gambling?

Guess, down roughly 40-60k lifetime

Started young, around 15-16 and didn't keep great track, something I wish I would have done. Got killed first 5-6 years then started doing well for a 5 or so year span before taking it easy on the action. Now a days just small time, not life changing but at same time not life damaging. Sure don't miss the roller coaster ride.

Is there a trusted site for BTC book ratings? Sort of like a Covers (realize they are not perfect but highly regarded by many) or are there just user ratings? I want to try out some new books. Thanks.
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Loanoffer40 on: March 22, 2016, 07:49:50 AM
I told you all, he is thief of identities (Loanoffer40) , lol

My last post on this particular matter, somewhat exhausted after all the BS yesterday.

Don't want to go too much in detail but will state I followed necessary steps set forth by FTC.
