1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All altcoins dumping at the moment. on: October 30, 2017, 01:11:32 PM
I could not understand what is happening, from price correction to this mighty price dump.  Bitcoin bellow $3500, ethereum $235, litecoin now $48 and ripple fall below $0.19. I think Chinese government and traders are really dealing with altcoins and bitcoin hard now.
This China News is the main reason why most coins are dumping as of now.Its not actually a price correction but it was really dumping because of banning and closing exchanges together with some fuds. Price would really mainly affected on this one.Hopefully it would recover soon or even on this year. This is why we should really not panic sell and can somehow sustained the dump.
If one is looking for at btc as an investment then yes, totally, it's wise to wait till btc becomes great without China. Yet, as it is likely to take some time, for those who count on btc on regular basis it is better to cash out right now. As for alts, I expect them to recover sooner, for lots of them are actually not Chinese and are used not by Chinese. Thus, I think alts are now really good as a short-term investment option.
I hold dash. It gobto the moon

It is quite possible that Dash will go to the moon. The development team is very strong.

What exchange showed every single coin dropping, because that was a pretty limited list. I checked the five big exchanges and at the time of your posting 79% of the coins were even or rising. I failed to find a single moment in the history of crypto when 100% of the coins out there were losing value. Maybe a new exchange for you, because the markets on our side are positive and good.

I think most altcoins are dropping relative to bitcoin. They might rise against fiat.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: To Buy BCH or not to Buy BCH? on: October 03, 2017, 08:11:20 AM
BCH very potential to provide benefits if we hold it even in my opinion for longterm, profitable BCH. Similar with ETH, investing in BCH with a very good marketcap surge.

If the Bitcoin Cash's difficulty adjust problem is not solved, the price will not rise.

I read JP Morgan bought 5 mio of BTC for its clients  Smiley the numbers really make you think about how relative this decentralisation is...
I think whatever JP morgan does to attack bitcoin, if the bitcoin user and other users cryptocurrency keep it hand in hand and stay calm, I'm sure bitcoin and cryptocurrency can get through this problem, I'm sure cryptocurrency will continue to grow although many issues and problems come

The attack has failed. The price of Bitcoin now is higher than when the attack happened.

Bitcoin trading has been banned in China, major exchanges will cease operations, people are cashing out while they can.

Everything will go down.

https://www.coindesk.com/btcc-to-cease-china-trading-as-media-warns-closures-could-continue/

Trading will be halted for some time but I doubt they will cease operations.
Probably exchanges will wait for regulations and resume trading after few weeks/months.

They will still trade until end of September. Maybe by that time, they will be regulated and continue trade afterwards.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Ethereum Mining with reduced DevFee v5.0 on: June 27, 2017, 05:21:29 PM
no, you don't have to use the ssl, so then it's not encrypted Cheesy
Lol, anyway I can not understand, why are you mining ZEC, it is less profitable than ETH, is not it?

Please make it if you have time, ZEC is great for older amd cards and nvidia

7990 or 280x are the examples.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Myriad - Just been dumped after a huge pump! on: April 19, 2017, 01:28:37 PM
Yes, very soon Poloniex is going to delist the Myraid coin, Poloniex is the one of the biggest exchange in altcoin exchanging.
Really it is going to be very bad for the people who have Mraid coin with them, it's better to shift your coin from Poloniex to a different exchange where Mraid is listed.

I saw Polo delisted quite a few recently.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: For the first time in a while... seems like there is a shortage of miners on: March 16, 2017, 08:00:22 AM
Short lived

ETH block time is going to get longer and run ETH unprofitable to mine by mid summer. ZEC is waiting to be dumped hardcore

Those two going down will really hurt the mining game. The BTC maximalist suggest the altcoin rise is a giant bubble

I thought the time bomb has been defused.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Once we hit $1000, how far will BTC drop? on: March 04, 2017, 11:07:36 AM
There is no such falling range with bitcoin, everytime depending upon the market movement around the world as well upon the countries holding higher bitcoin users the variation will be experienced. This time too big increase was felt and due to some exchange service issue in China the price fell to greater level than expected.

I think it depends more on the actual usage of the bitcoin. That is the reason I use some bitcoins.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Weird question, but please answer. Coin's to hold for 6 years. I'm going to jail on: February 23, 2017, 10:48:53 AM
If this is not a joke, the best advice is to store BTC as the most stable currency which will pobably still be up in 6 years.

BTC, ZEC or Monero.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Once we hit $1000, how far will BTC drop? on: January 04, 2017, 01:34:21 PM
If it need to go down it will be on 900 dont think it will go below that.
Also dont think we will see it goes below 1000 if we see new high for btc

Never say never when it comes to Bitcoin. At the time we reached the ATH literally no one ever expected to see the price fall far below the $200 level again. It's a drop of more than $1000 that we have experienced. It doesn't mean exactly that will happen once again, but it just shows that there isn't any level that the price won't dive under. It will happen. The only question is when.
We will not know the exact time but we can relay in the last year that honestly there is similarity of movement not the value but the fluctuate movement there is similarity and i think we will experience of price drop this coming next month or before february this is just what i analyze from the last year movement.. well the bitcoins before and how its popular is not the same right now and maybe right now will be different..

With such a huge increase in a short period of time, it makes sense that we will have some kind of correction. We just don't know when or how much. I don't think we can have such a sharp increase without a drop.

A correction could come when the price is $1200 or higher.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Once we hit $1000, how far will BTC drop? on: December 27, 2016, 02:37:37 PM
Nothing is assured with the increase and decrease of bitcoin price. Price increase took place in a short to a big value, which too goes down without providing any notification. This holds the market to be without crisis as well depending other country's.

If the bitcoin price rises to $1000 in March or April next year, there is only 1-10% drop.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Weird question, but please answer. Coin's to hold for 6 years. I'm going to jail on: December 14, 2016, 03:55:01 PM
ZCash could be the best. You might even use it in jail when dealing with dark market. It might be popular there.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the US Dollar dominate bitcoin trading on: December 06, 2016, 09:21:19 AM
Probably not. Currently more than 50% of the bitcoin miners and corporations are from China. These guys control and own the supply of bitcoin, meaning that they influence most of the trading going on on the market. If the US is going to beat that, they will have to acquire more mining power, or the government will have to make a statement on the lines of "Bitcoin is awesome! Invest in it!", which will most likely never happen.

Yeah, since china market cap dominating bitcoin miners and the majority of bitcoin transactions over the last month came from yuan trades, indicates USD is behind them. USD might as worldwide accepted currency, dollar was the dominant currency, but that started to change in the end of 2013, as the volume of CNY transactions increase and now dominate about 90% of bitcoin transaction, no chance for USD rule bitcoin trading.
It's just about time, YUAN is good now but Dollar will overtake in the coming future, now that Trump was made as president,
there would be a lot of surprise.

The Chinese Yuan trade about the bticoin is more than the US dollar. Most of the new coins are mined in China.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the US Dollar dominate bitcoin trading on: November 20, 2016, 03:07:16 PM
the dollar is always dominating the bitcoin trades because the value of the bitcoin depends all about the dollars and when you dont have that amount of dollar youj wont be able to trade off course.

I heard the trading volume in the Chinese exchanges are very high and they do not use the US dollar to trade.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the US Dollar dominate bitcoin trading on: October 12, 2016, 05:43:54 PM
to me as US Dollar is the most popular currency of the world and is also the most stable, as it dominate all the other paper currencies of the world, so we can say that it also dominate the bitcoin, but i think there is no match of USD with bitcoin because USD is a paper money where as bitcoin is a crypto currency.

The US dollar is the most stable or the stongest currency now. It might be replaced by the bitcoin in 20 years.
17  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the US Dollar dominate bitcoin trading on: September 27, 2016, 06:09:08 PM
The US dollar has been dictating most of the trades world wide from crude oil to anything.  Is there a possibility that it will dominate in the trading of Bitcoin?

I think that the basement price which bitcoin can be valued in fiat is USD even though USD can drop a bit.
And from the usd exchange to other currencies is defined the exchange rate for example in EUR.

If you trade the bitcoin with other altcoins, the bitcoin will be the base currency. It will be more so in the future.
18  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-09-21]R3 & Axoni Work on Blockchain Solution for Reference Data Management on: September 21, 2016, 04:58:49 PM
"The participants believe that a major part of the reference data, which constitutes 40%-70% of all the finance transactions, can be automated using the blockchain technology. Once the records are consolidated on a single immutable ledger, companies won’t be required to individually maintain huge amounts of reference data. It will create a single window for all institutions to access the required transaction information whenever required from a master copy on the blockchain.

Consolidation of all reference data including information about the specification of financial products, issuer details, counterparty information, currencies, corporate actions and prices on blockchain will have to be in accordance with the existing and upcoming regulations like the Dodd-Frank Act and EMIR.

In the press statement, R3’s CEO David Rutter states,

“Quality of data has become a crucial issue for financial institutions in today’s markets. Unfortunately, their middle and back offices rely on legacy systems and processes – often manual – to manage and repair unclear, inaccurate reference data. Distributed ledger technology – which allows financial institutions to push these functions to a cloud environment – removes the need to reconcile multiple copies of data, providing a sophisticated and agile solution to the headaches currently caused by these legacy systems and processes.”
The new initiative follows the completion of an earlier blockchain based prototype, developed by the same team to improve risk management and reduce cost efficiency issues inherent in managing financial reference data. The existing prototype and upcoming proof of concept product are expected to be cross compatible,  offering a seamless solution to manage reference data in financial institutions.

Many studies have already proven that blockchain technology is the most economical option for the mainstream financial sector. By implementing it, the global banking sector can potentially save as much as $20 billion annually. We can soon expect more innovations in the sector, followed by a gradual shift from legacy systems to distribute ledger based systems."

It would be so nice for things to be priced and denominated in BTC, but that isn't going to happen in my lifetime.  At least that's how it seems, but strange things have happened in the world.  Nothing would surprise me at this point.

In the openbarzza or some deepweb site, the goods are priced in the bitcoin. But it will not be applicable to the main net in the foreseeable future.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the US Dollar dominate bitcoin trading on: August 06, 2016, 03:51:29 PM
Bitcoin may have the higher price but it will not have a right price if there is no dollar. Dollar is the one telling how much a bitcoin is and without it how can it be said to have a high price?
bitcoin is going to be worth a lot then if it replaces dollar and i think that would be really great, people should use bitcoins every day and nothing else

The bitcoin might replace the US dollar and many other currencies. But that will take many decades or longer.
