1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Buying for a long term. on: November 27, 2018, 06:47:11 PM
When holding long-term I go for solid coins with large market capitalization, like bitcoin and Ethereum.
For altcoins, I would go for Strength, NEO or zilliqa

What do you think of bitcoin cash?
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expected predictions on: May 27, 2018, 05:44:41 PM
The prediction I expect for bitcoin is that the bitcoin forums are getting better, unlike in the week this week, I expect bitcoin prices to be normal as they used to be, and I predict the future bitcoin will get more advanced and growing as well, the bitcoim forum will never die.

As long as there are active developments like it did in the past, the price will rise the same proportion.

Waves is my favorite too. It is following the same trajectory as the rise of Monero. I have been following Monero when it was worth 1$, and it's rise has been consistent month by month. I see the same thing in waves, it's rise has been solid. It does not go through major pump and dump like other shitcoins. It consolidates and rise slowly. Come back in a year, i'm sure it will break $10. Mark my words.

Other bet will Bitbay. It's undervalued given that it already has deployed marketplace. And major milestones coming in few months.

Since a few weeks ago, I have saved ltc and eth, when their rate is still low. Although, if i sell at this time i will earn profit more than 200%. But, i still hold it and believe they're still strong to climb higher.

Yea if you not a daytrader definately hold.

That is right. And it is better to buy the good coins.

Zec, Eth, gup, golem or rlc , bancor ( great idea) and ripple .

ZEC and ETH are good ones.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.4 (Windows/Linux) on: March 27, 2017, 08:41:58 AM
I have trouble with my r9 in version 12.4. You better fix it.

Is that R9 nano? You should use 16.3.2 driver. Or reduce the frequency or intensity.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v8.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 24, 2017, 05:38:48 PM
Be careful with r9 nanos and power limit on this one Smiley Melting cables like chocolate if anything over 10.

lol yeah i noticted that too on my nanos but the nano is a beast at dual mining which is why i kept all 36 of mine

the nanos can do 23.5 eth and 800 DCR at 750 watts TOTAL machine or around 130 watt per card with 800 core and 300 mem -100 undervolt

jst tested pascal with DCRi 48 and they are doing 23.2 eth and 550 pascal  thats 146 watts per card. which is crazy profitable considering they do solo pacasl at 800 normaly

R9 Nanos are such beasts , wish i had more instead of the mix of around 200 470s i have.

The rX 480 8 GB cards are no slouch either 29.8 eth and 320 pascal for 150 wattts or so with -16 mv undervolt

470s are pretty weak for eth pascal though consume alot of power relative to thier hash and eth hashrate drops alot

Do you use two separate miners for Eth and Pascal?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v9.3 (Windows/Linux) on: January 06, 2017, 09:28:43 AM
Nvidia people are beating us.
Almost 500 H/s with their overpriced 1070 and almost 600 H/s with the even more overpriced 1080.

I get 550 on 1060 3gb with 40 watt in the wall..

XMR I presume, no bloody way that's ZEC hashrate on a 1060.

Even if it is XMR, it is still fast.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: December 17, 2016, 09:04:37 AM
Your post was created when Etherium is a high potential coin and Bitcoin was just trading at $500 level ,but now it's a different story Bitcoin is almost at  $800 level while etherium is sliding down I read from one guy here losing half of what he invest on etherium.

The Ethereum price has dropped a lot in the last few months.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: November 25, 2016, 05:52:13 PM
i prefer with bitcoin rather ethereum because bitcoin have a good value in future and its been proof by now when the price is go up slowly but sure. i think its too far for ethereum to be a competitor for bitcoin.

You could be right. There are too many attacks on the Ethereum at the moment. It has too many forks.
That is why it is not good to invest in ethereum since it is not a perfect and secured its already happen before it can be still happen right now or in the future.. so better to stay in bitcoin that ethereum.. it can be more profit right now since we are seen the price is increase $100+ past few months..
BTC still has a better potential of all areas. so it would be very advantageous if we choose bitcoin even though eth has a high price. with bitcoin you can make various kinds of business or investment, because among all cryptocurrency, bitcoin is the best

BTC is more mature. The Etheruem  is too new. It is always under some kind of attacks and will need hard fork.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: October 27, 2016, 06:07:20 PM
Bitcoin is the boss of all virtual currencies and nothing can replace bitcoin, now we have ETH and ETC from the team and i dont know the reason for two coins ,i expect more splits from them, they may or may not do it.

For the time being, it is the boss of all the digital coin. But it might be replaced by ZCash or Ethereum.

If the block size of the bitcoin is increased to 2MB or higher in the next 6 months, it will still be the Number one.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: October 23, 2016, 09:51:34 AM
Its not a battle with one winner. BTC and ETH can coexist very well.

Definitely! both of them are profitable investments and worth holding without a doubt.

there are a lot of differences between the two which makes bitcoin a worthy investment and ETH as a dangerous one.

- ETH is an altcoin, there is no need to explain this it is obvious
- eth is super manipulated, and has a huge pre mine which makes the distribution unfair and manipulation easy
- eth is not really used for anything in the real world except some random contracts that end up like DAO and will end up in another hard fork.

- bitcoin is the real deal that everybody else is copying
- the manipulation is so small and it is getting smaller as time passes and the distribution is a lot better so it makes any manipulation that much harder
- bitcoin IS being used for real world application and REAL BUSINESSES are accepting bitcoin as a real money.

An altcoin can succeed if it has real usage. The Ethereum can be used to make the smart contract now.

Share with us what's your main reason for buying bitcoins?
I am trusting Bitcoin because I am using it for a while now and have never received any problems with it, it helped me to make some extra money also.
So there is not really a reason for me to not be buying Bitcoin when it is going to well.

Yeah bitcoin is good as an investment and its also helping us in earning extra money from it so I think we can put our trust in buying it at a moment hoping that it will bring good profits for us in future.

The bitcoin can be used as an investment. If you bought the bitcoin in the middle of last year, you have made some profits.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: September 15, 2016, 04:52:33 PM
However buying bitcoin have some advantages.  This will be a trend in the future because more people who interested with bitcoin will increase . no doubt buy and invest in bitcoin can make me have a better life.

Yes its always good to buy bitcoins and keep them saving for future as more and more people will buy bitcoin it will affect the price of bitcoin in a positive way which can give us good profits.

Buying the bitcoin will increase the price of bitcoin. But it is more important to use the bitcoin, that will increase the price more.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: September 09, 2016, 07:58:49 AM
I believe that could be valuable both. value for money is not a simple pass or fail test.
If the ethereum can develop the need so that it is greater, the solution will have more impact in terms of the people’s perception of value.
As worldwide smartcontracts increases, we need to more resources(ETH- gas - wei). People would willingly pay more for better smartcontracts.

That depends on the further development of the Ethereum platform. If it has strong community support, it will have enough resource to develop.

It seems both the ETH and ETC price remain quite high at present. So it means both coins have good support.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: August 25, 2016, 08:01:28 AM
it's depending about the question, for short time i will choose altcoin like ethereum, it's more faster ROI than mining bitcoin.

That is right. The Etherem is good to mine at present. But the mining difficulty is rising too fast, so the profitability is dropping all the time.

I have some old generation cards I bought 3 years ago. It seems their mining hashing is dropping all the time.
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: August 13, 2016, 12:51:47 PM
I think it's a good time if you are patient for the long run.

Yeah, everyone bought bitcoin for wanting to make a profit when the price of the bitcoin become higher. the advantage is very remarkable bitcoin than other digital currencies. you don't have to worry about the future because the future of the bitcoin bitcoin will be much better from now on. Save as much as possible bitcoin you get and wait until the price high bitcoin

I bought some bitcoin a few years back. It seems I have made some profit. So I will buy more when the price is lower.
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach $700 again on: July 29, 2016, 10:57:00 AM
Chances are high that this value can be achieved this year. It's a matter of adoption and use of the cryptocurrency.
as you can see that the price of bitcoin is trading very close to 700. so i can expect that in next month it will cross the 700 USD level very easily. and it is also expected that the price of bitcoin will cross the 1000 USD in near future. and no one will be able to see bitcoin trading under 1000 USD.

The middle point of the trading range is $655 now. I think it could move up to $705 in the next few weeks.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: July 18, 2016, 10:23:29 AM
If ether wont fork - eth is better. Otherwise BTC is better because the BTC community truly supports irreversible transactions. And BTC is more decentralized for now. yes its not  mistake

The bitcoin is less decentralised than some other coins. Its developments  are controlled by the Blockstream.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum ? on: July 02, 2016, 12:45:44 PM
Both coins try to solve a different problem so you're comparing apples to oranges in my opinion. Eth is pretty questionable right now with its community being divided but Bitcoin has withstood all since time Smiley

Yes. I think it will take some time for the Ethereum to prove itself in the wake of the recent DAO attacks.
