I need help the miner keeps stalling at devfee and at start. I have to press enter to get it to continue.

Windows 10
Page file set to 32-48 MB on an SSD card

Start up
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool coinotron.com:3344 -ewal molitar.miner2 -esm 2 -epsw <password> -dpool "http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address=<address>&worker=miner2&email=<email@gmail.com>" -dcoin sia -allpools -1 -ethi 16 -r 0 -gser 1 -powlim -1

OpenCL initializing...

AMD Cards available: 6
GPU #0: Ellesmere, 8192 MB available, 36 compute units
GPU #0 recognized as Radeon RX 480
GPU #1: Ellesmere, 8192 MB available, 36 compute units
GPU #1 recognized as Radeon RX 480
GPU #2: Ellesmere, 8192 MB available, 36 compute units
GPU #2 recognized as Radeon RX 480
GPU #3: Ellesmere, 8192 MB available, 36 compute units
GPU #3 recognized as Radeon RX 480
GPU #4: Ellesmere, 8192 MB available, 36 compute units
GPU #4 recognized as Radeon RX 480
GPU #5: Ellesmere, 8192 MB available, 36 compute units
GPU #5 recognized as Radeon RX 480
POOL/SOLO version

<stalls at this point>

If I press <Enter> here it will continue to mine until Devfee switch.

-allpools -1  Huh  -allpools 1 is correct command "Note that if devfee mining pools will stop, entire mining will be stopped too."

I have a problem running the v7.4

this is my .bat file setup ->>>

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal ethWallet.workerName -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:4252 -dwal decredWallet -dpsw x -tt -100

i'm getting 0 Mh/s on ETH & 0 also on Decred, I can not even connect to rhe stratum decred server

I have a PC with 2X  R9 380

I also tryed with this->>

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -ewal ethWallet.workerName -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -dwal decredWallet -dpsw x -tt -100

Please help

I have same problem with 380 2GB model

DAG file size for ETH has grown to the point that most 2GB cards CAN'T LOAD THE DAG FILE - which means they can't mine ETH any longer.

Try pointing them at ETC instead, or look for coins that use a different algorythm.

I have all older r9 cards that I have mining zec but I want to also mine eth so Im going to get new rx cards how much of a difference between 470 and 480 4gb or 8gb thanks

The real difference is the memory speed - most (all?) of the 8GB cards use 8000 Mhz RAM, all of the 4GB cards use 6600 or 7000 Mhz.

ETH is very strongly memory limited, so hashrates tend to be very close to directly proportional to memory speed if all else is equal (BIOS mods can make things somewhat unequal).

I have the R9 380 4 GB card, it works with the older Claymore version, but also cannot run dula miner, ETH+Decred, bu I still would like to run the v7.4

If you don't believe it or don't get it, I don't have the time to try to convince you, sorry.

I am only having a problem with Claymore's miner.  I can mine with sgminer-gm and qt-miner using my R9 270s (2gb).

Hello, I'm new to ether mining and I have 2 msi rx470gb cards and they hash but for some reason I cannot see the temp of the second gpu in claymore I see this
ETH - Total Speed: 41.433 Mh/s, Total Shares: 102, Rejected: 0, Time: 03:10
ETH: GPU0 20.715 Mh/s, GPU1 20.717 Mh/s
GPU0 t=67C fan=39%
How do I get the second gpu to show the temp windows 10 and crossfire setting is turned off am I missing something in the config file? any ideas thanks. oh and I'm using whql-win10-64bit-radeon-software-crimson-16.9.1-sep13.exe for gpu drives

Make sure that the crossfire is turned off. It looks like it isn't.

v5.0 Beta:

- added new coin for dual mode: Siacoin. Now you can mine Ethereum, Ethereum+Decred or Ethereum+Siacoin.
- added "-dcoin" option to select a coin for dual mode.
- added "-allcoins exp" option value that allows you to mine Expanse and don't recreate DAG for devfee mining.
- added Decred support for Nicehash pool.
- default "-dcrt" option value is "5" now.
- improved detection of bad pool state: miner will disconnect if pool rejected more than a half of last 10 shares.
- "s" key: now miner also shows current difficulty so you can calculate how long it will take to find a share or a block.
- bug fixes.

@Claymore, have you ever considered DMD coin (Edit: or other Groestl coin) for dual mining? Because as far I can see the two algos did not interfere a lot IMHO. It is quite profitable from time to time (http://whattomine.com/coins) and has POS w/ 25% interest annually until 2018 also. Wink
P.S.: I am not affiliated with it.

2 gb cards cant do eth anymore; the dag file is too big to fit in the card memory.

go with 3 gb or more cards.

I am still having issues.. currently I have removed the R9 380 it is 3GB by the way and mined fine on another system.  So I just have the 6 RX 480 but the miner stops mining.

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool coinotron.com:3344 -ewal molitar.miner2 -esm 2 -epsw pass2 -dpool "http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address=<address>&worker=miner2&email=<email>" -dcoin sia -allpools -1 -ethi 16 -r 0 -eres 10 -gser 1

If I press S it will start mining again.

dbg log showed this is the last command before it stopped.

Nanpool ETH minimum payout is .2 ETH.  They payout every 6 hours (usually) although sometimes they have issues and a payout is delayed.
