4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Cold Storage Methods For LTC and BTC on: April 04, 2013, 04:11:36 AM

5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Question about recent run-up on: March 28, 2013, 08:25:26 PM
I believe a lot of bitcoin purchasing is happening in Europe and Asia. This is because when I wake up in California I notice the price sometimes jumps huge amounts overnight, I attribute this to it being daytime in Europe, and when investors invest.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: "BTC Pride" Equal Rights on: March 28, 2013, 08:22:40 PM
I support bitcoin, what you mean by "Equal Rights" is beyond me.

Wow awesome idea, and I agree it should be valued in USD as Bitcoin prices are to volatile.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much are your Bitcoins Worth? on: March 20, 2013, 07:09:46 PM

Strange that is right near where BFL is supposing assembling and shipping their ASICs.   Wonder if it has anything to do with that?  Maybe a payment (kind of round number though) for more stuff so they can get those orders shipped?
What else could this be for?

It could be one of mtgox's wallets, a early adapter, or satoshi nakomoto himself
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney) on: March 20, 2013, 07:02:00 PM
Wow what an incredible guy. Hal, I hope you the best you will go down as one of the first to use Bitcoin, and even more impressive that you communicated with Satoshi.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just bought in at $64.05 on: March 20, 2013, 06:44:21 PM
64$ for a bitcoin seems high, but in reality it is so underpriced its ridiculous. give it a few years that bitcoin may be worth 10,000+

17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need help mining ppc on: March 20, 2013, 04:16:58 PM
Just give up on mining. IMO the reward is far to low for the amount of work and the odds you will make a return profit are very low.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin exploded in price on: March 20, 2013, 03:58:26 PM
Paypal is one of the worst companies on the face of this earth. Years ago they froze my account with 3,000$ on it for suspected fraud (??) and I had to wait over a month for the 'investigation' could be completed.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Things getting interesting once we past $100 on: March 20, 2013, 03:53:34 PM
How do I avoid uncle sam to stick its hand in my cookie jar and takes the tax share?
What if I don't report it?

Face to face trades.

Of course, not paying your share into a system that you benefit from makes you a freeloader (or at the very least a leech).
I'll gladly pay the transaction fees/withdrawal fees of trading my bitcoins into USD and then transfering USD to my bank account.
I'm paying  my share to the system I benefitted from, BTC that is. I didn't benefit from USD.
So you don't use roads?  You don't take advantage of the electrical grid?  You aren't protected by the US army?  You won't receive social security?

This. What your trying to do is one of the main reasons government is against Bitcoin. Pay your shit like the rest of us and be thankful your in a country like the United States.
20  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Credit Cards: How to create a POS device? on: March 20, 2013, 03:41:09 PM
