1  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best Poker BTC site? on: March 13, 2015, 06:19:35 PM
Betcoin is good but Its really hard to believe that they really have that many users playing on it on a given time...I suspect some r bots...I like SWC in general..pretty good..but really tight.

Betcoin is part of Winning Poker Network which is a network of poker sites that share their pools of players. Betcoin's mtt's and sng's are shared with WPN so that's why they have alot of players on. Cash games on Betcoin are only for Betcoin players they don't share cash games with the network.

I deposited thursday and could never sign up for the new depositors freeroll i emailed support and they never responded there was no ticket in my account and no indication of what the password was.

I had a similar problem with some satellite tickets that I won when I first started, are you sure you are looking in the right place?  To use a betcoin ticket, you have to go to the website, log in, click the little portrait in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and click on 'bonuses'.  That screen is where you should see any tickets you have, and you have to click 'register' on that screen to use them.

It's a pretty bad system and nowhere is it explained how to use it.

Thanks for the reply, yea that's where i was looking for it, that's also where you get the daily gift, but i didn't have any first deposit freeroll tickets there.

The New Depositor Freeroll is a password freeroll and what is your username so that we can review and send it to you.  As for the tickets being a "bad system", the other option is to auto register you in tournaments that you may not be able to play which is one of the biggest criticisms about satellites.  We give you now the ability through tickets to win a ticket and play any day when you have time.  The response to the ticketing system has been overwhelming positive and in fact this is our first complaint!

We know you can't please 100% of our players 100% of the time but we will always try!  Good luck.

I actually like the tickets in the website the way it is now, I've had no trouble finding it.

It's just that the ticket i was looking for was not there.

This site is all types of awesome It's hard to believe there is a site like this in 2015 with all the rewards that they offer and status points that never reset like other sites in the industry where you have to be a slave to the site just to keep your status and obviously no bs when it comes to depositing and withdrawing thanks to bitcoin.

It really is amazing and i hope this is just the beginning.

LOL you are just a negative Nancy!

Right because the casual player is gonna leave the site they are playing to got to Mizrachi's site to make the bets ROFL! I don't even think the seasoned player would go place bets with Michael, that site is DOA, i also read that thread on 2+2 and people said they would be interested but lolMizrachi.

Go take a walk and breathe some fresh air.

I'm not understanding why you are irritated.  You said you hadn't seen a feature that you'd like to use, I provided you with a link showing that it was on the way.

I'm not irritated, my bad if i sounded like it, it's just that every post i read from you it's kinda negative.
Maybe i should go for some fresh air too, been running bad lately.  No hard feelings man  Smiley

A poker site with prop bets like last longer and betting on if the flop comes red or black and stuff like that where you could lose a hand and still make money, i think that would be cool and i haven't heard of a poker site that has these.

http://www.onlinepoker.net/poker-news/online-poker-news/michael-mizrachi-launches-lastlonger-tournament-betting-platform/26270

Also old-SWC had last longer pools, not sure if those can be coded into the new software though.

And also, reduce the hand timing, some people just take too much time to play a hand intentionally.

I don't think it's intentionally. What i think happens is that people register for the tourney then forget about it and the software doesn't sit them out automatically after they time out, so every hand they take up the whole timer. Also there needs to be a beeping sound when it's someone's turn to act, right now it beeps when the timer is running out but if I'm doing something else on the computer i don't know it's my turn to act until the timer is almost to the last seconds so it makes it seem like I'm waiting till the end to act.

Well that's a different issue and yes the software should sit the people out who are not active automatically.

What I am talking about is some people just intentionally take the whole time out to make the other person wait and it's super annoying.

Yes you are right it might need to be less than 30 seconds a hand.

But maybe it's not intentional because of this part of my post

Also there needs to be a beeping sound when it's someone's turn to act, right now it beeps when the timer is running out but if I'm doing something else on the computer i don't know it's my turn to act until the timer is almost to the last seconds so it makes it seem like I'm waiting till the end to act.

I know it happens to me sometimes and it's not intentional on my part, it's just because I may be multitasking and doing other stuff online and don't hear the beep until i only have a few seconds left to act. But maybe some people do it intentionally as well.

Karpeles is hiding on his Tokyo mansion reading this thread and having a laugh.

... and remember that he is visiting the forum, his latest visit here in the forum was the 20th Feb. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2134).

He was active last night.

How Ulbricht and Karpeles are related?

They are not in the same jurisdiction, and as far I know Silk Road was nothing close to an exchange

I believe i read in the silk road case that Ulbricht said Karpeles was the real DPR. I could be wrong tho.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Free BTC Methods on: March 05, 2015, 12:48:07 PM
What are your best methods?

Feel free to share below!

What do you mean by 'methods'Huh There are no ways of obtaining BTC without doing any work. Using faucets doesn't make any sense and is much more work than needed to make a quick buck.

Kipsy why did you steal my profile pic?  Sad
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Free BTC Methods on: March 05, 2015, 12:45:52 PM
If you enjoy playing poker then it's pretty easy to get free btc.

Sites like

Betcoin Poker
SwCPoker
5dimes
Nitrogensports
Luckyflop
Skyhighpoker

and many others have freerolls going around the clock, between
all sites you could be playing 5-6 tourneys an hour and earning btc.

If Nikola Tesla had his way we'd all have free wireless electricity.

Rip Tesla.

We spend alot more resources digging up gold and precious metals from the ground, that it makes the cost of mining bitcoin seem trivial in comparison.

Can poker owners play on our own site with out getting critized?

NO!

That's what the person is saying.  You cannot play on your own site without getting criticized because that is sketchy as hell!

I was just playing on SwC with Micon 2 days ago.

I don't see any problem with the owners playing on their site, especially when it's for promotional purposes.
